The dentists are fine. They're dentists, not a whole lot to say about a routine teeth cleaning. But for the love of God, hire more competent front desk personnel. I literally called to ask "This is the routine procedure that I'm calling about. Can you please check to see if my dental insurance is accepted at your establishment?" Response from receptionist: "Yes, we take that insurance." A few months later, I received a bill in the mail for several hundred dollars for a routine teeth cleaning. The absolute WORST experience ever!!! The ladies at the front office was absolutely horrendous and lack basic customer service skills. Maria Marsh the office manager has to be the most racist of them all. Each visit for my root canal I was quoted different balances and communicated different information regarding my 3 visit treatment plan. I don't normally write reviews, but I needed to express my dealings with this Office. I was looking for a dentist, was told about Dr. Butriy. I went on line to schedule an appointment on Labor Day. It indicated that I could get an appointment that Thursday. I didn't get a call to confirm my appointment, so I called the office only to be told that she didn't see anything from me. Although she told me my telephone number. I asked how she knew, I said oh you have caller ID, my landline is non pub. She said, Yes, I should have waited for her to tell me. I wanted to make sure they accepted my Insurance, they were listed. I asked, she said they would check a WEEK before my appointment and if not they would call. I thought this is strange. So, I get an appointment for September 30th at 2:00, I arrive early, I knew something was wrong, saw the look on the receptionist face after I gave her my name and she was looking. Another woman questioned me and said that I was removed from the schedule, because I didn't confirm the appointment. I asked if someone called, she said yes, I asked when and what number did they use. She told me the date and it was my landline. Was told she could reschedule I told her there was no need and left the office.Once I got home and questioned my husband, he said he didn't answer a call from them. He's very good about making sure I get my messages, and we have vm. I checked the caller ID and saw that a call did come in from them, no message. I called the office, was given an appointment Thursday, October 24 at 1;30. I was thinking this doctor is very busy. When I scheduled I was told she would confirm it. I was getting text messages, concerning the appointment at 1:30 on the 24th of October, asking me to complete a new patient form, appointment time is now 1:40, it also indicated that I could arrive early and fill this form out, which is what I was going to do. I received another message, about the appointment, now the time is 1:50. I responded, telling them the time I was scheduled. I was told that they were having issues with the system and my appointment is at 1:30 on the24th. Today I get a text message that I need to call to reschedule due to a conflict. I called, told the person that answered why I was calling. I guess she's looking. she places me on hold, after returning she asks for my date of birth. I told her to forget it, obviously I'm not supposed to see this dentist and said goodby. I get a call a few minutes later from the office, she tells me that they don't accept my insurance. AFTER 2 MONTHS??? I have another Dental Insurance, which I mentioned in a text message after telling them how disappointed I was, I got a text message asking for my Member ID. NO!!!! read more

I went in for a cleaning, they decided I needed a root canal done, they was supposed to send paperwork to my insurance to approve the procedure, they never sent anything I am currently still waiting on them to fax the paperwork. I thought they did a good job! So I have been going to a previous dentist for years, but due to an insurance change I had to switch. So I went here! I felt that they were far more honest about my teeth than my previous dentist hahah. Also gave me good advice on the best practices and information as to what would be best for my teeth specifically. In fact, they actually told me things about my teeth that I had never known before. The location is in a slightly weird old building, but the office itself is clean and bright. The employees are not overly friendly and welcoming, but I do feel as though they are doing a good and skillful job. What was really nice is that they even pulled up my x-rays to show me what was going on with my teeth and actually described what they were looking at wanted me to see and understand. The staff is constantly changing. Once, he had a young Dentist working on me and he was rushing the guy, who did a terrible job on some deep cavities I had and they both had to be redone by Dr. Butriy.  I waited over two hours to see a dentist that day too.  They "lost" my appointment at least 6 times. I would have an apt. scheduled and they would act like they didn't know me when I showed up for it. The last time this happened they simply said there was no apt they could find. When I showed them the card they gave me with the apt. written on it, the woman said that no one holds apts for six months.  lol  ALMOST ALL Dentist apts are for six months. I had enough at that point. I suspect they are over booking and keeping the patients with better insurance, or who are having procedures done that pay better...  I don't know. I went there for at least 3 years and felt like a stranger every single time I went. When I stopped going, no one called. I probably wasn't even in the system.  lol read more

I've been coming here for a wile. The doctors are very knowledgeable and patient to explain any procedure with detail. I like that they spend a lot of money on technology, everything they use is state of the art. The girls at the reception are always in good mood and help you schedule your next visit. Hands down the worst dental experience I've ever had. I did a lot of research to find this dentist. He was rated in Cleveland's top dentist in 2014 so I was very confident in going to him and felt i would be in good hands. I thought I was going to be seeing dr. Bogdan for my fillings. A different "doctor" sits next to me doesn't even introduce himself and starts going to town on my teeth.. I had a cleaning with the hygienist before my awful fillings..explaining to them I wear Invisalign and am on my last Invisalign tray.. After my fillings, my trays would not fit.. I went back 5 times for them to alter my filling for them to fit.. They could not do it.. Not only are my teeth never going to be straight but I threw away $1,500 on Invisalign, and they will not fix it. I worked in a dental office for 2 almost 3 years.. I also understand the way you should treat your patients in a dental practice.. And this is not the place to go if you want to be treated properly or care for your teeth! read more

My wife went to Dr. Butriy last year after another dentist pulled her top teeth and put a denture in her mouth, that didn't fit, on open wounds. Her former dentist and another oral surgeon told her that she will have to live with this denture and she is unable to get implants due to bone loss. This was devastating, she was crushed and depressed, especially since she is only 39 years old. We searched the internet for someone to help us and we found Dr Butriy. Dr. Butriy took her right away without any problem. He explained step by step what needed to be done to correct and rebuild my wives smile. He started working on my wife that first day, even though he had a full schedule. He made it work for us and he gave us the hope that was taken away by the other so called experts. Over the next year my wife under went several oral surgeries, bone grafts, and implants. Over this time everyone was so very nice, sympathetic and caring. They worked within my wives schedule to setup appointments for surgeries and checkups without any problems. Dr. Butriy worked with us on all fronts. Giving us hope, restoring her confidence, giving her the smile that she lost and making her feel beautiful again. Now after all the surgeries, appointments and pain I have my beautiful, happy wife back. I appreciate everything that everyone at elite dental center has done for us. It's been 2 weeks since she had her new teeth put in and she is a completely different person. Finally she smiles and is happy. Now our family and friends go to Dr. Butriy, he is the only dentist that we can trust. The office is elegant, modern and very clean. All equipment is top of the line. This practice does it all, from cleanings to surgeries. You don't have to go to multiple doctors to have your teeth worked on. The worst service I have ever recieved. The staff are very friendly and nice enough, but I have never had a more horrifying experience than I have at the hands of the Dr. Butriy. I had crowns put in and these crowns fell out 5 different times over 3 months, each time they gave me a different reason why they couldn't just get them to stay on. They never apologized, all the while charging me and my insurance thousands. A customer should never feel guilty for wanting what was promised to them -- there is no excuse for horrible work. I am sorry I sent my son to these people. They care about nothing but money, the customer does not come first. Anyone in my place would have gotten a lawyer, but I am not that kind of person - just beware, and go elsewhere if you want people who care about you and care about doing good work. read more

I've been going to Dr. Butriy for 8 years. I was in a car accident long time ago and I lost many of my own teeth and my natural bone . I have almost my entire mouth redone so far. I've had bone implants surgeries, implants, crowns, bridges, fillings, cleanings.... Before I went to Dr. Butriy, I had few really bad experiences with previous doctors and I was really skeptical to go to another doctor again but I am so happy I found Dr.Butriy. I came to him in the worst condition can possibly be:(.. He fixed everything. And he is so patient and careful. I broke my tooth on vacation, I needed some replacement, I need to replace crown , he fixed it with no charge!!!! He always gives me my privilege customer discounts and he is just awesome. I had a horrible experience here as well. They placed four fillings and two ended up abcessed and needed a root canal less than a month later. Then, when I came in for the abcessed​ teeth (I had an appointment for something else, and couldn't get in sooner) they almost made me make another appointment for that! Like: "No thanks, can you please fix the dental emergency first thanks?!?" They rush you in and out as well, hardly listening to your concerns. I had never had problems with my dental care before at any other dentist, so it was a surprise to me to be treated this way and to end up with so many problems. I have regular professional cleanings as well and take care of myself (although I had previous damage from bruxism that I wear a mouth guard for and have for years with no problems). I would like to say, I only came here because of my dental insurance (which I will be finding an alternative for as well). So far the root canals haven't failed, so that's somewhat of a positive. read more

I went in as a new patient for emergency dental service after exams I waited an 1-1/2 for the dentist to tell me my insurance would pay for them to resurface my teeth again. I have 2 different dental coverages. So I didn't understand what the problem was. One would have covered it. The dentist was very insensitive to my concerns and pain. I was looking for second opinion on my tooth that became loose because of root canal infection and bone loss. My dentist told me that the only option I have to remove my infected tooth, but DR. Butriy's opinion gave a hope to save a tooth . Of course, I was ready to try saving the tooth and I am glad that happened. Dr. Butriy performed treatment of the root canal and finalized a procedure with laser gum treatment. Two weeks later I felt comfortable to start chewing with the treated tooth.
