They removed our grass and leveled the area which was very uneven due to our septic settling. They replaced all the sprinklers added drip. They added decomposed granite to an area and built a flagstone and DG walkway. We have acreage and they laid over 3,000 square feet of grass! They also laid gopher wire under the sod. I had seen Greg's work at a home that he had done, it was a front yard landscape and it looked fantastic. I called Greg, he arrived right on time, he called when he was on his way, so I could be expecting him. He arrived, and immediately I felt at ease, he was very nice, informative, and listened to what I wanted. He made suggestions, which I went with and I'm glad we did. Greg and Daniel his brother are from Antioch, went to school here, and both are very knowledgeable and work very hard, even on weekends to get the job done right. I still remember when we had a big wind storm, it blew part of my fence down over a weekend. I called Greg and asked if he could come out and put the slats back in and he said, I will be right over. He stopped at Home Depot, picked up wood and everything he needed, he showed up, rebuilt that part, and would not accept any money for the supples or labor. Greg and his crew were very careful with our pool, he covered it to make sure no dirt would get in it, and the end result was amazing. Some companies would just build it and not give a shit when you have to demolish it later due to city codes. I have a neighbor from hell who would love to call the police. We were looking for a possible leak and I contacted them asking if they offered any type of maintenance on their equipment since we don't know what to look for or how it works. We were told there were some valves and a shut off valve located on auto fill feature. Again, not being familiar with any of the equipment involved with said feature we weren't sure what to look for. We ended up digging up the rocks and finding that it was in fact the auto fill feature not stopping causing it to constantly drain out the front of our home. Immediately called the company and left a message and haven't even received a call back. I ended up calling another company to come help me with the feature and show me how the system works. The only advice I received from AJs was they don't offer maintenance and they recommended I call a leak detection company. For the amount of money the former homeowner paid for this backyard I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of care for their faulty water feature, the lack of compassion for helping me to understand how the system worked and the lack of response.

We did not have a design in place, however, the team was able to put together a simple, yet effective design of what my wife and I had envisioned. What was once just dirt, soon became a beautiful mix of pavers, artificial grass, lighting and retaining wall.  The team worked quickly and efficiently and made sure to go over every detail to ensure it was to our liking. They were nice enough to re-wire my existing sprinklers, move the old irrigation off to the side, add a spigot to it, and tighten up all the other irrigation lines all for no additional cost! Also, as a DIY person I appreciated them taking the time to show me how things work. Four weeks after installation the lawn looks amazing with no dead patches. I definitely recommend this crew and will be using them again for future projects.
