Find someone else if you have a choice. We had out wedding at Castle Ladyhawke. We had 105 guests and needed 4 Shuttles (25 seat shuttles) and 1 private car for the bride & groom. We had pick ups in Asheville, Sylva and Bear Lake, and the shuttles would drop off the guests at the same places. We had a 4:30pm arrival at the castle for all guests and departure times of 9:30pm and 10:30pm for all shuttles. What we got: 1. The driver assigned the Bear lake route made the executive decision to tell our guests he would make ONLY 1 trip to bear lake at 9:30pm (early departure) because it was only a "few guests." Thankfully one of our family members let me (the bride) know about this and I had our wedding planner fix this. We paid for our guests to have the option of leaving early or staying late, I was extremely upset with this decision from the driver. If one 1 guest had decided to leave at 9:30pm it was their job to take that single person back and be ready to make the trip again by 10:30pm. 2. One of the shuttles was 30 minutes late to the ceremony while another shuttle was 3 hours early to a pick up location. Miscommunication between the company and the wedding planner. 3. The shuttle drivers were contacting me during the wedding when they should have been contacting the planner. We are not from NC, we did not have many shuttle options given the size of our party and the limited options in Asheville. We hired our planner 1.5 years in advance and findings a shuttle company was TOP priority since it would define if our venue (CLH) would work or not for our party. I read the multiple reviews talking about how late the shuttles/Limos were to other events but in the end we decided to trust them. read more

Extremely disappointed. I reserved a Bentley as a getaway car at my daughter and son-in-laws wedding a year in advance. I made my final payment and sent the address with step-by-step directions to the treehouse air bnb they were staying at following the wedding over a month in advance. Two days before the wedding I get a phone call from Elite Limosine asking about the roads getting to the airBNB and if an old Bentley would be able to make the trip. I assumed they would know more than me but I had no reason to check these out. They dont go check it out either. They offered an Escalade if the roads weren't going to be doable. I tried to call them on Saturday, the day of the wedding and guess what? the office is closed. An Escalade showed up (shocker- as they never checked the road) and the driver did not know where he was going. The bride and groom had to give him step by step directions. He was unsafe and the kids were't able to relax and enjoy their after wedding ride. Who offers services that they cannot provide? Why would I have to check out their areas? The price was almost a thousand dollars for less than a 10 minute drive. I was told by the owner that the driver didn't know the roads - then why send him? I was told that the address was not accessible by GPS - wonder why it worked for our family. More excuses. This company should not be offering these services and accepting payment and contracts when they have no idea or desire to provide professional services. Wish I would have had the information from them regarding the vintage car a year ago so that I could have made different arrangements. Thank goodness the wedding was perfect. This little glitch did not change that but just so blatantly stands out when all of our other destination providers of service were so outstanding. read more

I was originally told that all the limo companies in and around the Asheville area were terrible. Well, I'm here to tell you different. Elite was EXACTLY what I had hoped for and more. We used them for my parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration to take us from a mountain house in Brevard to downtown Brevard and back. We reserved the stretched Hummer limo, and despite the steep terrain, John, our driver got us around with no problem. He stopped, and took picture of our entire group at an overlook and made everything top notch. I would highly suggest them for your next event. read more

I had booked Elite limousine for my wedding transportation back in February of 2021. Fast forward to a few weeks before the wedding which was 9/17/22, I had a hard time getting a hold of someone to make my final payment and to go over the timeline of pick ups. I ended up sending an email as days went by and I heard nothing. I got a phone call, and they said they were having phone issues. Paid the balance and sent the timeline. I was told they could only do 2 pickups on the way back which didn't seem like enough since I would have more people taking the shuttle back then from the hotels to the venue. I was told if I wanted 3 pickups, they would charge me a fuel surcharge of $250. Mins you, the venue was 7 mins from the hotels. I tried talking to the owner Alex, who was very condescending. He also explained to me that I only had the bus for 6 hours, not 8 hours. I asked where this was stated and was told the contract. All the contract stated was "timeline". This conversation took place on Monday before the wedding. Tuesday, I tried to go over this once again with Andrea and to verify the timeline I had came up with would work, and I got rushed off the phone bc they were "so busy". Wednesday, 3 days before the wedding, I get a call stating the bus "broke down" and they would need to cancel. What BS is that?! That bus didn't break down...they realized they were wrong and were going to loose out on money. They are unprofessional, rude and I'm pretty sure this place is going out of business. DO NOT BOOK! I would give zero stars if I could. We had been in touch with Elite for months before my daughter's wedding. While on our way to Asheville we called them to verify the time and location. We also emailed a timeline for the day. On the day of the lof the wedding they were supposed to be pick up the bride at the house at 1:15 pm and they called and said they were going to be there at 1:30. They hadn't shown by 1:50. We had to scramble to find someway for my daughter and her bridesmaids to make it to the wedding. (Very late and we're crammed into an SUV) . My husband called them at both numbers and no answer. They called back 5 minutes later and said they went to the venue without the bride and said they would come and get her (which was 30 minutes away). We declined. Do NOT use this company!!! We got married in Asheville on June 7th and paid for a school bus to take guests to and from the wedding, and also for a Rolls Royce for me and my husband's send-off car. A week before the wedding, we needed to simply change the order of pick-up hotels taking guests to the wedding...it was like pulling teeth trying to get hold of someone that could help us out. Multiple emails and back-and-forth calls. We had to ask for written confirmation when we finally talked with someone on the phone (who was very short during the whole conversation). Well low and behold, the new pick-up order we discussed and had written confirmation of was not followed on the wedding day! Very annoying but luckily no guests were left behind. The Rolls Royce was a surprise to me from my husband, so I was looking forward to seeing what the car would be all night. The car was supposed to be there at 10:30. Waiting...waiting...we did the send-off walk 3 times! We tried calling Elite but no answer. We had the school bus driver (taking guests back to hotel) wait with us in case we had to just take the bus. He finally got a hold of the Rolls Royce driver who was 'on the way'. By now it was 10:50, and he wouldn't say where 'on the way' was exactly. At 11pm my husband and I said F*** IT! and just rolled out in the school bus. The only star will be toward the bus driver, who was very nice and apologetic about the situation, he was clearly embarrassed for this company. He probably was never even given the updated hotel pick up schedule. When we emailed the next day to ask for our money back, the owner said the car had broken down and that's why it didn't come (then why was it 'on the way' the whole time?) He said he would refund for the car, but offered ZERO apology. Such a big moment for a wedding and he could not care less. No one called to give us an update or offer a substitute car, and the fact that no apology was given was COMPLETELY unacceptable. Don't let your event or wedding be ruined over this horrible company! read more

We are very happy with the service provided by Elite Limousine at our wedding. We rented one trolley, one SUV and a sedan. All the cars exceeded our expectations. Our trolley drive was so nice and patient with our crazy group. The SUV was a dog friendly car and we used it for my friend to take our dog back to the hotel. The SUV drive was also so nice and patient. Lastly, we got a sedan for our exit car. It was a beautiful car and the driver was super nice too. Overall we loved our experience!! I'm absolutely heartbroken over using this company. They utterly destroyed my wedding. They arrived with our hotel guests 40 minutes after the wedding was supposed to start and they forgot to pick me, the bride, up to leave at the end of the night. So I was left standing alone at the end of my wedding night with my husband. So, we lost 1/3 of our time at the venue and our band was only able to play for half the time they were booked due to the tardiness of these people. I married the love of my life, but I think it will be years before I can talk about my wedding day without crying. read more

We used Elite Limousine NC for our son's wedding. It was a complicated request, as our guests were in 4 different hotels in two towns. Justin was able to manage all of the locations and times to get everyone where they needed to be both nights (we provided shuttles for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding for all attendees). He worked with me and managed several changes we had in timing and location of various size minibuses and vans. read more

I had the pleasure of working with a very large group (400) that traveled to Asheville this past weekend. They were staying at the Grove Park Inn and doing daily tours, on multiple buses, of all areas of the Biltmore Estate and other misc. location around AVL (I was their tour guide). I was very impressed overall with Elite. Their vehicles were incredibly clean, very punctual, drivers were so professional (yet fun), and they were completely on top of of everything and so easy to work with....even with any last minute "problems". I has the pleasure of meeting the owner, John, who was terrific. Also, Josh, Troy, Kim - drivers were fantastic, also. Failed to show at at scheduled time at a very important event. A weeding, transportation from the Church to the Country Club for the Reception. The Bride and Grood had to make other embarrasing arrangements to arrive late at the receptionl. There was not excuse as I called a month or more before the event to make the reservation. I again called three days to confirm the time and place. Church at l:30 PM, but elite failed to show. I demand a refund on my credit card. Sugguest other parties make other arrangements. If first impressions are anything, I would never have worked with them in a million years. I had called endlessly to this company to try and book transportation for our wedding. Always leaving a voicemail and never receiving any response back. I started to think that maybe it was me and that I was going crazy. I had my (at the time) fiancé call them from his cell phone and they picked up right away for him. I had him arrange a quote with their services and when I went to call them back to finalize the deal and provide payment, they wouldn't pick up or call me back. When I had my fiancé call them back again, they picked up and when my fiancé called him out on their behaviour they said, "we are just very busy." I am not from the Upstate area so I was limited to what I could find through online listings, reviews, or recommendations. After talking to two other companies, Elite Limousine was the only company that had a Party Bus for the size we needed and we were forced to work with them. We proceeded with them and booked the Party Bus. The night before the wedding, we get a call saying that the Party Bus is broken down and won't be available for us on our wedding day but they were going to "upgrade" us to an escalade limousine. Great, at least they were being proactive and came up with a solution for us, to which we were very grateful for. It wasn't until the day of that 18 people were crammed in the escalade that they failed to mention the air conditioning wasn't working. Hot bridal party = not fun. If there is a silver lining, they were on time and the driver was very professional and safely transported us to our locations- I had heard from a wedding coordinator that this company once left an entire wedding stranded on a mountain side, so I will take my experience as a win! read more

We reserved a limo to take my son and his bride to the airport. Our reservation was confirmed for a pick up at 11:30am for a 3pm flight. At 11:45 the limo had not shown up. My son called them, they had us down for 11:30pm. They arrived 45 min later. Did get the newlyweds to the airport on time, luckily we had allowed lots of time. I called John when I returned home from NC, as the cost was expensive and I was required to pay 20% gratuity up front. I did tell him, paying that gratuity up front does not encourage them in anyway to do a good job. he assured me that I would be happy with the service or else we could talk about it afterwards. Well I did call to talk about it and felt it was fair to get refunded my 20% gratuity. I did not ask for the entire fee as they did get them to the airport, but it cause ALOT of worry, concern, and scrambling on what to do! Gratuity is for a job WELL done, and this was not. Of course, I have not gotten that refund even though he did agree he would refund the 20% after trying to place the error in time on me....Who has a 3am flight????
