My wife and I attended a wedding this past weekend (9/17/16) at The Cliffs at Glassy. We live in Tryon, NC and didn't want to drive there for the wedding and back after the reception. In addition, we had never been to The Cliffs and were not sure where it was and how to navigate the winding road leading up to the resort. Having Limo Zen in the area was a blessing. We easily set up the reservation online and received a prompt reply from Heather confirming everything. A few days before the event she sent me the driver's name (Joe P.) and his contact number. On the day of the event I called Heather to confirm everything (because I'm a little OCD about plans and schedules). She confirmed that Joe would pick us up at 3:15 PM. At 3:10 PM he pulled into our driveway. PERFECT timing! The vehicle assigned to us that evening was a new black Cadillac Escalade. Joe has the AC set low (it was a hot day) and bottles of water for us. He was a delight to have a driver. Joe, we learned is a recent transplant to the area from Upstate NY so my wife and I (both native Tar Heels) had a lot of fun talking with him. Although only in the area a short while, Joe knew exactly where we going and the shortest route to take. We arrived right on time. After a beautiful wedding and wonderful reception, Joe picked us up at 9:30 PM (again perfect timing). We have used UBER, limo services and executive cars a lot when traveling in large cities and we can say Limo Zen (including Heather and Joe) are as good as any big city transportation service. I hope Limo Zen has a long and prosperous future in the WNC & Upstate SC area because we really need top level transportation services. Thanks Limo Zen. I'm sure we'll be using you again.

A quick call to Asheville Premier Transportation and I was all sorted. By the time I landed, I already had my driver's details and contact info. We connected before I even made it to the baggage area. We had a lovely little chat, I learned a bit about the area, and he made me feel safe even though we drove through a remote part of town that in the dark looked like an opening scene for a horror movie. But that's where my destination was and, in fairness, it didn't look much different in the daytime. If you like to not stress, get to your destination safely, and have a lovely human be the first person you encounter in Asheville, APT is for you.

Wish I could say better things but our experience booking was such a problem that we didn't even…read moremove forward. We asked for a quote through their website, in writing, as they ask and our info was entered correctly. When they sent us a quote it ended up being for the wrong date (on the heels of originally quoting the wrong vehicle). When we ultimately uncovered that the quote was for the wrong day, they told us the vehicle we wanted was gone and the only solution was a bus. If they had simply honored their quote for the other vehicle (we asked) we would have been happy, but they insisted that bc we were getting a bigger bus, they had to increase the price (75% higher than the quote). They get 1 star instead of zero because at least management had the decency to call me to talk it through and offer a small discount, but ultimately that's the only positive. Our biggest frustration is that their quotes state very clearly that they are good for 48 hours. We called to reserve within that timeframe, yet we were told that while the price holds, their ability to deliver the car does not. What use is holding a price on a good or service you don't intend to deliver?

We had pick ups in Asheville, Sylva and Bear Lake, and the shuttles would drop off the guests at the same places. We had a 4:30pm arrival at the castle for all guests and departure times of 9:30pm and 10:30pm for all shuttles. What we got: 1. The driver assigned the Bear lake route made the executive decision to tell our guests he would make ONLY 1 trip to bear lake at 9:30pm (early departure) because it was only a "few guests." Thankfully one of our family members let me (the bride) know about this and I had our wedding planner fix this. We paid for our guests to have the option of leaving early or staying late, I was extremely upset with this decision from the driver. If one 1 guest had decided to leave at 9:30pm it was their job to take that single person back and be ready to make the trip again by 10:30pm. 2. One of the shuttles was 30 minutes late to the ceremony while another shuttle was 3 hours early to a pick up location. Miscommunication between the company and the wedding planner. 3. The shuttle drivers were contacting me during the wedding when they should have been contacting the planner. We are not from NC, we did not have many shuttle options given the size of our party and the limited options in Asheville. We hired our planner 1.5 years in advance and findings a shuttle company was TOP priority since it would define if our venue (CLH) would work or not for our party. I read the multiple reviews talking about how late the shuttles/Limos were to other events but in the end we decided to trust them.

She also stated that there was a "sweet young man" with her that was training. Paula also picked her up from her return flight and drove her safely home. I live hundreds of miles away and it is very reassuring that my mother was so well cared for during her travels. I will certainly book Atchison for future transport needs for my mother.

The limo had a blow out tire. After getting the tire fixed with much back and forth with who ever the driver was talking to, then before they could go any further. my son had to fill up the limo with gas because the driver didn't have any money and the fuel card was zero. They got back on the road and within 30 mins the limo had broken down again. My son instructed the driver to get them to an exit and they were getting out of the car. My husband went and picked them up and took them on to their honeymoon destination. I spoke with Randy, one of the owners and he was clueless and could have cared less. I asked to speak to Jean, "the other owner" on Aug 9th at 10 p.m and today is Aug 12th at 6 pm and I have yet to hear from her.
