Rebecca, made sure that any questions I asked were answered. She was terrific!  Eric, was so professional and knowledgeable about the variety of wines we sampled for our tasting. He explained everything from the beginning to the end!  This place is definitely a vineyard you should visit. I will say there was not one wine that I did not enjoy! I absolutely enjoyed every pour.  Their wines are remarkable choices that would be great for a dinner party or holiday gathering. The wines paired very well with our charcuterie board.  If you are ever looking for a getaway where you get to see the beautiful foothill views,  Take a trip to Tryon, NC and visit this location.  You will enjoy the vibes, wine, scenery and everything this vineyard has to offer. Kristin was a great communicator throughout- my inquiries prior to booking, we had some interesting weather that could have hindered our tour (rain and a 30 degree temp drop within 2.5 hours) & she was kind enough to call and provide options, our follow up email & image sharing has been amazing! We got two flights: Cherry - this is VERY tart, did not really care for it. Blackberry - it is also tart, but definitely more tolerable. Rhubarb - this was enjoyable for me, not so much my husband. Peach - this was way too floral and had no peach flavor. Sangria - it was okay, had a raspberry taste to it. Strawberry - it was okay, not strong in flavor. Diamond - it was a nice sweet white wine, and our favorite of the day. CB - not a strong muscadine, but you can definitely tell it is a muscadine wine. We were suggested to blend the rhubarb and strawberry together after we tasted both separately. It was fine, but I preferred the rhubarb on it's own. It's a shame that we did not really care much for their wines since they were friendly here. Since wine is a personal taste, I still recommend going to give it a try!

However, that 2 hour drive out of his way seemed not ideal so we looked for a driving service. Enter Richard of EZ Shuttle. We reached out the night before and he was available to take us to the airport which is a 2 hour drive. He was super prompt to get us at our cabin, had a clean car, offered us water and was such a delightful driver. He also gave us some history of the area which was nice. Our party of 5 made it safely to the airport for a reasonable price. Not only does he do airport transfers but he also can drive you in the area if you're looking to go to wineries or just get around the mountains without having to drive. Will totally be using his services again!
