Now I buy only Hondas because I know that the car will be serviced very well... (I tend to purchase used cars and keep them about 10 years or as close to 300,000 miles as possible!) This great father and son team work only on Hondas, exclusively, and do a such great job. They are honest, efficient, fair, and professionally precise. I'm actually hesitant to leave a great review because I don't want them to get so busy they can't fix my car! The garage may not be the fanciest but that's not what they are here for. They keep it comfortable for people who are waiting. And I appreciate them so much. I always bring them a special little snack !

We found our vehicles in Florida (tho I do owe them a review as well). If Maine had the vehicles we would have bought them from Rowe. They did not. We did deal with a salesman at Rowe and he was very helpful and went out of his way to try and accommodate us. Unfortunately it did not work out. On October 30 I encountered a problem when leaving my Dr. office in Portsmouth NH to travel home to Maine. Upon entering my car I had all kinds of flashing warnings about my breaks.(My car has 3400 miles on it). NONE OF MY SAFETY SENSORS WERE WORKING AND I HAD NO IDEA WHETHER OR NOT MY BREAKS WORKED. I called HYUNDI and was told to take it to ROWE (my service destination) once I got back to Maine. She assured me they were open till 5 or 6 pm (I can't remember) - She also told me I could "drive the car" in spite of all the warnings about the breaks. So off I go to Rowe (a 45 mile drive with flashing warnings about my breaks). I have NEVER USED ROWE service nor had I been to the dealership in past - In past, I have used BMW in Westbrook (awesome BMW) and Lexis (again exceeded service expectations in years past). I enter the service area having never been there - (a bit bewildered) I might add as I was not sure while traveling 45 miles whether or not my car with malfunction or cease all together. I walked into the service area where there are 2 women seated one behind the other. I tell the woman that I was told to bring my vehicle right in to the service as the breaks are malfunctioning. I was greeted with "WHO TOLD YOU THAT"' To which I responded I did not know the name. Then I was told "WELL I DON'T KNOW WHO TOLD YOU THAT BECAUSE WE ARE BOOKED OUT TILL NOVEMBER 20TH! There was NO OUNCE OF TAKING CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMER EXHIBITED HERE - AT ALL! She then informed me to go to the OIL AND LUBE DEPARTMENT. Which made NO sense to me but ok and I had to ask her twice to point it out to me as I had never been there before. So I drive up to the OIL and LUBE people and was greeted by another woman - who was at least KIND and had experience dealing with the public in a compassionate manner. She scheduled my apt 3 weeks out. She also tells me the car is ok to drive. I left ROWE HYUNDAI befuddled and VOWING I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. On Friday 10/31 I contacted McFARLAND HYUNDI in North Hampton NH. They could get me in the following Monday. Being told my car was drivable I found the breaks FUNGABLE.... rather sticky. NO SAFETY CAMERAS ZIP NADDA NOTHING. (Did I mention I am a Senior?) So I contact Hyundai's national towing service and they will ONLY TOW ME TO ROWE. UNACCEPTABLE. The charge to tow me to NH was in excess of $500. So let the car sit in ROWE parking lot for 3-4 weeks (RENT A CAR) or drive to NH. I drove to NH... they had to order a part - we are presently waiting for that part and my car would be ready this week. There service area treated me RESPECTFULLY, they accommodated my needs and they even GAVE ME A LOANER CAR FOR THE WEEK. NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAVE NOW TAGGED THAT DEALERSHIP AS MY PREFERRED DEALER. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN ROWE FOR SERVICE, I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM SINCE THEY CANNOT SERVICE THEIR VEHICLES. AND THEY ALSO NEED TO TRAIN THEIR CUSTOMER CARE FOLK (IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT) I have managed and run customer care centers over 30 years - AAA, a start up company, hospitals, banks etc. I have also trained reps for customer care. I have no tolerance for folks sitting on the other side of service desk GIVING ATTITUDE TO CUSTOMERS. My car was purchased for the safety features and quality. My car PRESENTLY has 3400 miles on it! We buy new cars because we value safety & we are seniors. We like electric. BUT I will go back to BMW, Toyota or some other brand that seems to place value on not only selling to their customers but also servicing their customer vehicles. (and oh btw HYUNDAI enough already with the coffee break notifications. . . its DISTRACTING AND MEANINGLESS! My car sat for 2 months while I was in Europe and the first time driving it from South Portland to Arundel I received 7 SEVEN NOTIFICATIONS TO TAKE A COFFEE BREAK) Enough!!
