Cheating on my nail technician isn't apart of my character but on February 7, 2025 I did for a special friend. I was accommodated by my friend to her nail shop at Elite Nail Spa. Our nail date was an addition to her self-care day for an event she had later on that evening. My good-humored friend received a manicure as I received a pedicure before helping her get beautified for "Night to Shine" sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. I'm speaking on behalf of my pedicure experience by Daisy as a first time customer. I didn't have an appointment but never waited longer than five minutes to be seated at a pedicure bowl. I stuck with a gel combination I'm familiar with so I didn't waste time on color swatches. If you have never or constipated on receiving gel on your toes, GET IT! The best transition I have made years ago and don't plan on switching back to regular nail polish. The charge is more due to a choice of drilling off the previous gel polish, which's what I prefer. Or soaking off, which in my opinion takes exceedingly longer! Plus the reapplication of gel polish with your new pedicure service. Since I didn't pay for my gel (classic) pedicure service, I wouldn't be able to give the exact pricing of Elite Nail Spa but I'm normally paying around ($60-$70). The breakdown would look similar to this: ($50) for a classic pedicure, ($6) to soak or drill off and ($12) for reapplying. Daisy, my pedicurist, wasn't fluent so other members from Elite Nail Spa staff had to translate a few of my request. Such as my water, it's essential for it to be steaming hot almost to the point of boiling hot water! Is it the safest route? No but once you're seated for a pedicure and the nail technician takes her time without rushing, eventually the water gets cold. I rather for it to be boiling hot to luke-warm than luke-warm to cold. My last few request was making sure my shape is squared at all three corners on all ten toes, the clarification of my gel color combination, and cleaning any access polish around my toenails/skin. Daisy executed each one of my request! I basked in every minute of my foot massage and my toes still look + feel like I have new feet after two weeks. In the future, if I'm ever in a bind and Daisy is available, I will be requesting for her. read more

Total for a dip mani with tips and a basic pedi was $105. The pedi was fine, wasn't very relaxing but turned out fine. The manicure didn't turn out how I wanted. Kevin seemed to be in a very bad mood and I could tell. My nails turned out uneven and misshapen and he seemed to be rushing the whole time. The extra $10 for the manicure was NOT worth it. I've been a customer of Elite Spa for about a year. Every experience during this time has been ... I even told the owner how much I liked her place . Except for this last time ... very disappointed with the quality of the dip . My nails starting to chip and break within 3 days ! I was skeptical about complaining to the spa, but after it started to get worse I finally did . My comments were met with denial.... They were sure I had done something to ruin my nails. They reluctantly fixed 3 nails at no cost , but made me wait over an hour for the repairs . After 10 days , my nails were a wreck . I went back to get them all redone .... And guess what ? I went here yesterday. My pedicure lasted 5 minutes, every time I go here I get assigned the worst "nail tech". NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN. The lady that originally did my toes had French to thick (I told her it's ok). If you crave expensive with an attitude this is the place for you. They're very cagey about how Much you will be charged . They say " your specialist will discuss the price". I was asking because I'm always charged something between $90 and $105 for a basic pedi with shellac polish and a acrylic fill with shellac. Today' s price $155 because I had. Broken nail. Awesome job! I have been trying different places around the area and Qui (I'm pretty sure that is how he said he spells his name I apologize if I heard wrong) was amazing! Was very nice and made sure I was comfortable and ok with what he was doing. I love when they check in periodically to make sure you're happy! He made sure no little hair fuzz things got in my polish without me asking him to fix it. I adore nail technicians that obviously take pride in the product they produce. Lisa (the old lady) did not say one word to me the whole 40 minutes I was getting my nails done. She kind of had an attitude, and told me she would not paint my nails until I paid...it took her 5 minutes for her to polish. I got my nails done last Friday and less than a week later (actually 2 days later on Sunday) my nail popped off. And then today (Friday) my other nail popped off. Hands down best nail shop in Memphis area! It's my absolute favorite shop! They are really accommodating with both walk ins and appointments, though keep in mind they can get busy and there is a wait sometimes. Despite that, the service is great and everyone takes their time to work on your needs without rushing. My dip manicure looked perfect and lasted 4 weeks without lifting or cracking! The nail salon is very clean and the décor is very upscale. The chairs were comfy and they were massage chairs which is nice. They had a large TV in the salon so I got to watch my HGTV during my pedicure. I feel like it was meant for me. A cool glass of white wine, a massage chair, and some house hunters. A perfect Friday night. To the pedicure, the technicians were friendly and attentive. The scented salts were a nice touch. The technician did a great job, although I did feel like she may have been a little rushed during the polish application. Probably just end of the day eagerness to get home. I get it. Same experience as someone else. Made appt, waited, no one really asked me about color etc. they were super friendly to their regulars which I could have been. The first time was better than the 2nd time. The 2nd time they charged me extra to soak off and charged me extra bc i made my ring finger a different color. I have gone here more than a few times, but this last time I got a mani/pedi and my technician ( PHOM OR PHEM) ended up going so hard on my feet and nails that she cut both my big toes and nicked a few nails.
