I've been going to see Dr. Pat Malartsik for over a year now and I don't think I will ever leave unless I move out of town!! They are super flexible with my schedule, friendly (always checks in about my life and tries to keep up with updates), and amazing at what they do. This is also my very first review that I am writng on YELP EVER so it tells you how much I appreciate Elite Performance Chiro. I first started coming here with IT band pain that started in my knees and extended all the way up to my hips and lower back. After several sessions w/ Dr Pat, I do not have the chronic ache anymore and when it starts to come back again (usually because I don't follow the exercises and have forced my body to suffer through my laziness) I go back and Dr Pat fixes me up again. I also recently went in for lower to mid back pain that started to plague me about 2 months ago. With work being so busy and a wedding on the way - i kept pushing it back until it got so painful - it was becoming a common distraction at work (again the dangers of working long hours in an office). Dr Pat did some tests, adjustments, and put me on a machine (no idea what its called but I'm sure he told me (probably more than once) and it literally did me wonders. I've been here to see Dr. Malartsik a few times now. I first saw him to treat a neck issue that was bothering me for a couple years. I'm a dentist and work with my neck in a fixed position. I visited Dr. Patrick's office about a year ago because I was having some pain in my feet from running. He did a thorough analysis starting with the type of shoes I wear to run. I was using "barefoot" running shoes. He thought that might be the problem. So we tested my feet. Sure enough, my arches weren't built to handle barefoot running shoes and that was causing the pain in my feet. He made me some orthopedic inserts for my shoes and that seemed to solve the problem. He was able to bill my insurance directly, so I had no money out of pocket and he was great about following up 3 and 6 months later to see how I was doing. I made an appointment with Dr. Malartsik based on a friend's recommendation after experiencing some back pain and numbness. He was extremely knowledgeable and perfectly willing to explain what the problem was so I felt comfortable with the treatment plan. Within a couple weeks, the pain was gone and the tingling continues to diminish. He is an active guy that knows all about crossfit movements and can be particularly helpful in correcting your form and recommending exercises to strengthen specific areas. A good chiropractor is hard to find, but a good chiropractor who specializes in ART (active release technique), is totally a nice guy and gets you symptom free as soon as possible is super rare. Also, his lovely wifey Elizabeth works in the office as well and makes insurance/billing stuff as easy as possible - she's a pleasure to deal with. I was in a car accident (rear ended) in January and needed help with my back. Making appointments was easy and while the office manager is delightful to deal with, I also found using the online scheduler convenient. The office is nice, inviting and has a good atmosphere. I needed to keep training for an ultra marathon and Dr. Malartsik set me up with in office and at home exercises that helped me maintain training while still addressing my pain and issues. Went in for my first session with Dr. Todd and I could not be more happy. I am a competitive bodybuilder and I went in to get my elbow pain treated along with ensuring my back and chest muscles were healthy to maximize my muscle development.
