Came in for a new patient appointment, was not made aware on the phone that I didn't need to even be seen for this issue then was told no information in the actual appointment. Front desk woman didn't even greet me was rude and on the phone arguing with someone and now I know why. Wait for the doctor was at least 15 mins when there was no one in there. Whole appointment was a waste of time. They try to sell you their products and then auto charge your card without you agreeing to it. I really wanted this to work out because they are so close, and I wanted to support this location in my neighborhood. I made an appt. Five days after making a long-time-needed appointment, I got a VM that the doctor I specifically scheduled with as a New Patient suddenly had surgery at the same time as my appt. I was asked if I could make it earlier that same day; I agreed and called early the morning before and got a call back 4 hours later to ask if the following week, Thursday or Friday, would work. Of course, it won't work; that's why I made it for the 30th. Otherwise, I would have scheduled at Northwestern, where I could get in next week with much more confidence. The lady who called said she excused herself to call another office to see if he could fit me in, then returned to say 8:30 would work and I would be double booked. What? I had no clue what that meant, so she explained that he would see me "quickly" before the new patient he was to see after me. I explained to her I was also a New patient and indicated so on the form I originally scheduled through, which flustered her even more. I am in pain; I do not want to be seen "quickly" and to be "double booked." Just crazy. As kindly as I could, I said this wasn't going to work and hung up. I was concerned anyway when they confirmed that they take my insurance, but after this inciddent and reading all the other reviews regarding insurance acceptance, feeling like I dodged a bullet. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I created a YELP account just so maybe someone can read my review and hopefully help him/her avoid this place. I really wish I came here and read all those horrible reviews before I went to this SCAM place. I went to this place in September 2019 since they were listed as podiatrist with my Cigna insurance. I saw Dr. Faraz Haque which took some X-Rays and diagnosed me with Bone Spur. Dr. Haque recommended I do physical therapy for 7-8 sessions. Before I started physical therapy, I asked the billing department if the physical therapy will also go thru my insurance Cigna just like the first doctor visit and the X-rays were. They assured me that yes everything will go thru my insurance Cigna and so I started the physical therapy sessions with them. In total I was going to have 7 or 8 sessions (each session was like 15 min and did not help at all with my Bone Spur) with them but as I was on my way to do the 4th session I logged on to my Cigna account out of curiosity. While checking the Cigna claims I found that ALL their Physical Therapy claims were being rejected by Cigna. After calling Cigna they told me that this place is not accredited as physical therapists and that was the reason why their claims to Cigna were being rejected. They also told me that this is something they would know about it and they failed to inform me when I specifically asked them before I started the physical therapy. Cigna also asked me to go talk to them and so I went to the office in person and spoke to Dr. Haque as well as a lady (forgot her name) that was working there. I explained to them that I specifically asked them if all my physical therapy sessions will be billed thru my insurance Cigna before I started my 1st session and that they failed to disclose this information to me. I also told them that have I been told they are not accredited physical therapists I would have gone with another one that is because I would want any payment I make to go toward my Cigna deductible. Dr. Haque and the lady at the billing department were very understanding and apologized for the misunderstanding. They told me that I don't have to worry about paying anything since this was their fault. Dr. Haque wrote me a letter so I can see another physical therapist and the lady even gave me a list of some that are accredited with Cigna. Up to this point I would have given this place maybe 4 stars. I know that Misunderstanding happen but, the staff was understanding and I was treated with respect and the staff was professional. However fast forward to April 2020 and as I was looking at my credit card statement I notice that they charged me $420 for the physical therapy sessions in April 2020. I tried reaching out to them several times to explain that I personally was there back in late September and that you guys agreed that this is your fault and personally told me that I don't owe you anything but every time I call I'm told someone from corporate will reach out to me but never heard back from anyone. This place is such a SCAM and the many bad reviews they have are somehow similar to my case and I wish I checked their YELP reviews before I decided to seek their help. I also really feel that probably because of the Corona Virus toll on the economy, this place started to charge people's credit cards so they can increase their revenue. That is the only explanation I have for them charging my cc $420 seven months after my last encounter with them. I've been working with Dr. Haque and the staff at the Jefferson location since my initial diagnosis and I've had a great experience. Office staff are patient and helpful and have answered all my questions and handled my short term disability application requirements. If I was just reviewing Dr. Glick, I would give it 5 stars. She was very helpful, personable, honest and quick for an ingrown toe nail issue I had. My review is based on my experience with billing. I came in for a consult/in-office procedure, and was charged $250 for a deposit- which is totally fine. I took the deposit off of my HSA and they told me I'd get the remainder bill in a month and could pay online. My bill comes and looks high, but also I had no idea what the procedure cost so was okay paying it. Thank God United Healthcare has such an easy portal, so before I paid I decided to double check what Ankle N Foot had on their website for me to pay vs. the insurance bill on United Healthcares website. Ankle N Foot billed $200 of "medical supplies", all of which were denied by UHC, so my UHC accurate bill was $200 less! Had I gone on and paid without checking, I would've overpaid by $200. I called billing and they were unapologetic, but put me on hold and basically told me I'm correct. I was assured it would be fixed manually and updated online. Now 2 weeks later, the $200 they mis-billed me was fixed, but they "forgot" to deduct the $250 co pay I paid in office, so I called again. I realize mistakes happen, but I'm not sure this was a mistake, it's hard to tell when I caught myself getting over charged not once but twice for just one procedure. Dr. Raj and his assistant Leo were INCREDIBLE. I previously had a very traumatic experience with an immediate care provider to get somethings sharp lodged out of my foot, and I was referred to Dr. Raj. Once I was with Leo and Dr. Raj, they were so understanding of my pain, took every measure to make me feel relaxed, block the pain, tell me what was happening, and keep things positive while they worked on my foot for an hour. They even offered to play whatever music I wanted, and were patient with my questions and very thoughtful in my treatment. Thank you thank you thank you for helping me, I was avoiding getting this taken care of for so long, and I can finally walk again pain free. read more

The doctor I met with and her assistants were all extremely nice and helpful. This review is not about them. I was told my insurance would cover everything. I asked for costs for services and the brace I received and was told not to worry and that they would bill my insurance. Well, 1.5 months later, I receive a bill in the mail and lo and behold my insurance did not cover everything. They told me it was because I hadn't met my deductible but they called my insurance company before service was provided and told me it was. I do not have insurance, I paid for everything out of pocket. So this is where I'm just lost for words. If you're going to the Ankle N Foot, most likely, you're not in a medical emergency. So heed this advice. Do not buy anything while you're there! Get your X-ray. Get your consultation. But DO NOT BUY anything the doctor offers you! Take note of whatever it is that they will say that you need to wear. In our case, it was the boot. But anything else, I'm very sure that it's available on Amazon. They sell a single boot for $200. On Amazon, you'll find an even better one for $41!!! What on earth! That markup is outrageous! I can't afford any more of their treatment, especially after getting my wallet assaulted for that boot. The receptionists are horrible. They are rude and treat people like crap. The doctor kept stringing me along with appointments but I never got better. First she recommended exercises, then compression socks, then inserts, then a brace... It never ended and I never got better. I stopped going to this place after I got tired of the bad service. I went to see Dr. Glick in August for pain in my ankle. I was told repeatedly that my insurance covered the services they were rendering me. I ONLY accepted 2 night splints because I was assured over and over again that they were covered by my insurance and I did not have to pay extra. I am unemployed and so is my husband- I specifically told the front desk receptionist and my doctor that I did not want a surprise bill. I received a bill for $425 in September, and have been trying to get this resolved since 9/23. I have called 8 times and each time I try to talk to someone who can help me, I am told they are busy and someone will call me back. No one has called me back this entire time. Here's a breakdown of my communications with the billing department- I removed peoples' names because I don't want to call out anyone specifically. 9/21- Opened bill. Was scared and overwhelmed. 9/23 10:15AM - Called, spoke with X. Explained the situation. Told her that I asked SEVERAL times if the treatment I was receiving was covered. Had the person at the front desk run my insurance. Asked SPECIFICALLY about my deductible. Was told all I would owe today was my copay. Specifically told her and Dr. Glick that I did not want a surprise bill. Was told by X that I'd get a call back. 9/23 2:40PM Called back, spoke with Y this time. Was told she would follow up with her supervisor and that I'd get a call back. 9/24 10:36AM Called, left a VM detailing my issues. 9/24 5:24PM Called, spoke with X again. Was told to call back tomorrow AM and ask for Y or Z. X also said she'd follow up with Y tomorrow because she knows they are working together. 9/25 11AM - Called, left voicemail. 9/25 1:15PM Talked to Y, she said she'd call me back on Monday, 9/28 9/29 9-10AM - Talked to X, she told me both Y and Z are in a meeting. 10/7 9:23AM, Called, spoke to X. Was told Y and Z were unavailable. Left a message with X. 10/15, received statement dated 10/7. Still no calls back, no updates. I saw Dr. Zats for a very painful hammertoe. Outpatient surgery was scheduled and I have to say, it's never been so easy scheduling a procedure. AnkleNFoot contacted my insurance and I had a response within 2 days. My surgery was scheduled quickly and within just a couple of weeks of my initial appointment. I must admit, I was a little nervous about doing this surgery with just a local anesthetic - but Dr. Zats and her team were absolutely amazing. They were all very professional, but also very caring and attentive during the surgery, and post-op as well. I walked out of the facility only 2 hours after walking in. I have had no pain - no kidding. Not during surgery, not during recovery - nada. But I have also been careful to do as directed by the doctor. And if there had been a problem, I know that Dr. Zats or someone from her team would have been readily available to me. I also love the fact that if I have a 12:45 pm appointment, I actually get seen at 12:45 pm. I am not waiting in the reception area or in the patient area for 30 minutes. The team has also been great working with my insurance and setting a payment plan for anything not covered. I cannot say enough good things about the AnkleNFoot team. Because of the work I do, I spend a lot of time on my feet and it's great to know that I have a place to go with people I trust and respect to take good care of them! read more

Buyer Beware! While I absolutely loved my experience with Dr. Zats, the entire organization did not deliver the same kind of service. I broke my foot on a Monday in October, and was at their office on Chicago Ave on Tuesday with an xray and a boot from immediate care. I initially saw Dr Glick, and she confirmed it was broken, wrapped my foot and advised I would be in the boot for the next 4-6 weeks. They kept my immediate care xray, and at my next follow up appointment Dr Glick asked me for it, to which I reminded her that it was kept, she assured me they must have it there, yet there was never any effort put forth to actually find that disk, as it never appeared again. I continued to see Dr. Glick for the entire month, going back week after week with no change in my healing. On Halloween, I was there for my 4 week check up, which shockingly, showed no progress. She then suggested that I could use a bone stimulator for 2 weeks to see if that made a difference, and from there we would need to talk surgery. I asked for surgery as the only next option, as I would rather start the healing process, then to wait another 2 weeks to not see any progress. Dr Glick then informed me she would have to refer me to another Dr in the practice, because she wasn't yet certified for surgery, which was supposed to happen within a few weeks. I went to see Dr Zats and she recommended immediate surgery to repair my Jones fracture, a term I hadn't heard until I met Dr Zats. She advised that with that type of fracture, surgery is usually her first recommendation because it's very hard to heal on it's own. She was super knowledgeable and explained everything, and most importantly answered questions. I had the surgery a couple of days later and than began the healing process. My post op follow up was with Dr Glick, as Dr Zats was on vacation. She took my half cast off, took my wrap off, looked at my wound, and then wrapped my leg back up. She did not take a post op xray, so I also don't have a pic of my fracture right after surgery. I couldn't put my foot down or walk at all, I used a knee scooter and crutches to get around. I had a cap on the side of my cast and have a bone stimulating machine, that I used everyday for more than 70 days. I only left my house for my follow up appointments, as it was truly an experience navigating stairs and maneuvering through the city with a cast and scooter. Dr Zats was a wonderful experience in and of herself! When you enter the office, there is someone at the desk to greet you, and I am convinced, they are part time greeters and full time bill collectors. The moment your charges hit from the surgery they begin asking you to pay a bill you haven't even seen yet. After my surgery, there was an issue with the Anesthesiologist's insurance claim, and they were charging me over $2,000, which I knew was wrong. I contacted them and was able to clear it up and was sent a new statement and paid, the end. This Ankle and Foot Center is not trying to do anything other than get paid. At one of my follow up appointments, that was literally 2 days before xmas, I was being asked to pay over $800, when I had already left them 2 messages requesting a call back from their "billing department", but the front desk agent was not trying to hear that. She only cared whether I paid the bill or not, because according to her, they were trying to clear everything by the end of the year. When I told her I would not pay $800, she asked me well can you pay a 3rd? or how much can you pay? She also wasn't interested in the fact that I HAD CALLED THEM to clarify the charges, and hadn't received a call back. She finally called their "billing department" and had to tell the girl on the other end what the issue with me was. Having a customer service background, it was obvious the other person didn't want to talk to me but the front desk girl was adamant that I clear my bill. I got on the phone and talk to someone who was far more service minded than that individual. She advised that some of my insurance claims hadn't gone through, due to a system issue, and that she was going to resubmit and adjust my bill. I made a payment with her over the phone, as a show of good faith. She called me back a day later than promised, and advised me that she could upload my revised bill to my patient portal. The statement is hard to follow, and they aren't interested in helping you understand it. Every appointment after had a significant fluctuation in the amount due and I've never received a paper statement. At my last appointment, I asked if a new bill could be uploaded, along with a form to be able to access my records, and it never was. THEY TOOK MY PAYMENT OUT AUTOMATICALLY for a total that was more than the last total they gave me, since I have left more than 5 messages, received 1 callback with no voicemail. Communication goes a long way, and cannot only come from your patients. Thumbs down! read more

Dr Glick & Dr Giotis-Sarantopoulos are extremely skilled. If u go ask for them specifically. They were knowledgeable attentive and responsive. I couldn't walk when I did a walk in and they took me in right away and knew exactly how to help me feel comfortable and handle me while in pain (i can be unpleasant sometimes lol). I had to go back because my pain and case was stubborn and I had to travel. They pulled me in ASAP got me meds i needed and the tools to assist and support me while traveling. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a doctors office. I was lucky to get an appointment the day after I called. Only when I arrived, they had no record of my appointment. They were fortunately able to take me anyways as no one else was there. I was sure that my problem was superficial and that nothing was broken. They insisted I do an x-ray and I insisted it was more of skin issue. The doctor agreed that I would come back in a week if it was still hurting. I asked a follow up question and she snapped that she couldn't tell me any more without an x-ray. Surprise surprise, the x-ray came back fine. Then she gave me some temporary supplies but wouldn't give me enough to get through the next few days. When I asked for more, she said, "that's all I have for you today" and practically kicked me out. Whatever you do, find a different podiatrist!!! read more

I would give this place more stars, but unfortunately my experience was warranted a single one time.visit. I came in to have my ankle looked at yesterday after twisting it back in October(consulted with regular doctor since then) and dealing with some swelling as a result. I was seen by Dr Faraz Haque and I was not happy with my visit. First off you are downtown so you know that traffic is a crapshoot. Parking is on the street but you have to pay you might as well take an Uber or Lyft to your appointments not worth $9.50 for two hours. The doctor didn't come in until after the medical assistant did vitals and x-rays. The x-rays showed I have bone spurs as result of being on my feet a lot (CNA by profession) and then he said I had early stage arthritis (I don't have that) which made me think is he just throwing something out there. My large toe on my right foot was bruised after stubbing it on the bed and a thick piece of skin was present from showering and not using my nail brush to clean the side of my toes. The doctor said it was an ingrown toenail (if it was ingrown I would be in severe pain). He wanted to do a procedure to treat it when all it needed was to trim that thick skin away. I didn't need a speech about because I was a diabetic it get worse blah blah when I had this same injury several times over the years and I know my toe nails are shaped funny but I had to respectfully disagree with the doctor on this one. After discovering a cyst on my right foot (ew, sorry!) near my bunion, I finally decided to go see a podiatrist. Ankle N Foot came highly recommended on Yelp, so I decided to go in for a consult. Dr. Zats met with me and explained in great and patient detail all the things that were wrong, and why I needed surgery for what turned out to be a severe bunion. I scheduled the surgery that week. The surgery itself was a breeze. It was my first surgery, and first time under anesthesia, and it could not have gone better. The worst part was not being able to eat or drink that morning. The procedure went well, and I walked out with crutches about 3 hours after I'd arrived. There was some minimal discomfort the first week after surgery, but very little actual pain. I was prepared for a very painful recovery, but it has actually been fine. I took 2 days off total from work, and was back to work (from home for the 1st 2 weeks), just a few days after the surgery. The post-op care has been really phenomenal. The post-op PT sessions have been very reassuring (and soothing, for my swollen and healing foot), and have helped with the healing process. Dr. Zats has stopped in at every visit to see how things are progressing, explained how to care for my foot throughout this process, and answered my (always numerous) questions. She's never been pushy or condescending, or made me feel like she's in a rush to do something else. And, as others have said, she really does care a great deal about her patients. Everyone at work and at home has been amazed at how fast and well I'm healing, and for that I give all the credit to Dr. Zats. Her medical assistant, Michelle has also been incredible, and all of the billing and scheduling staff have been very professional and exceptionally easy to work with. I cannot recommend Dr. Zats highly enough. I have learned so much about my foot, and will transition into a regular gym shoe, hopefully tomorrow. My foot has never before looked normal, and I can hardly wait to return to yoga class, with my big toe in its proper alignment. read more

I went to this place in December for treatment for plantar fasciitis and I put a down payment on my health savings card for services rendered. Later when I received my bill in the mail I see that I was charged for an X-ray that never took place. I called the office and advised that I wanted a corrected bill. I received a corrected bill but this place is still trying to collect money from me that was already received at time of service. I have called several times for a resolution to no avail. I honestly can't say enough good things about this medical practice. I saw Dr Holmbeck this summer (June 2016) after having pain in my heel while running. A quick check of symptoms on the internet and I suspected plantar fasciitis. I tried some at home remedies for a few weeks and had no improvement, in fact it got worse. My job as a nanny also has me on my feet most of the day. I had insurance but was on an HMO and the network I was in couldn't get me into a specialist for almost 3 months. I was in too much pain to wait that long. In 2010 I had an amazing and unbelievably affordable experience with Ankle N Foot Centers (West Town) after fracturing my ankle while unemployed and uninsured (see story below). So based on my previous positive experience with Ankle N Foot Centers, I called Ankle N Foot Centers in the W Loop (close to work and home) to see about cost if I came in and paid out of pocket for an appointment, X-rays, etc. Just as I had experienced in the past they got me in right away (within 2-3 days) and their costs were upfront and totally affordable for someone paying out of pocket. About $400 for an exam, in office X-ray with almost instant images/results, cortisone shot, orthotics for my shoes and a follow up appointment. I saw Dr Holmbeck who was patient, listened, he was thorough with his exam and questions for me and just really nice. He explained that sometimes a second shot was needed as well as some ultrasound therapy if symptoms returned. I felt so much better within 48 hours after the shot. I did require a second shot about 6 weeks later and in office physical therapy for the heel (I know this was my fault for not heeding the warning about how bad flip flops are for your feet, especially when dealing with plantar fasciitis).Again, after the 2 be shot and first treatment out of 6 PT sessions I again felt great within 48 hours. This time I took their advice and swore off flip flops. By my 2nd appointment I had switched to a PPO with BCBS and my insurance was accepted by the office. During my visits for physical therapy Dr Holmbeck always came in to check in and ask about symptoms, results, and concerns. He genuinely took time once again to listen and answer any questions. On one occasion during PT Dr Hernandez was the doctor working that night. She also came in with my file, was informed on why I was there and asked and answered questions. Dr Hernandez also recommended a great brand of flip flops that did not look like old lady shoes which were also good for your feet. Bought 2 pairs on Zappos that night and they got me through summer without looking like I was wearing my grandmother's shoes and. The assistants who do the ultrasound therapy are so nice and professional, just really great guys. Chase at the front desk who handles scheduling and billing in the West Loop office is always awesome. He follows up when he says he will, works really hard to get you appointments that work around your work schedule. They have evening hours a few nights a week. The way this office is run and the treatment of the patients by the doctors should be a model for doctors everywhere. I am back to running, putting in more mileage than ever before and cross training with zero issues. This is all thanks to the doctors and staff at Ankle N Foot Centers. I first became familiar with the Ankle N Foot Centers about 6-7 years ago. While uninsured I tripped and hurt my ankle really badly in a class at the gym. I went to urgent care, they did X-rays and said it was just a bad sprain. 6-7 weeks later after being on crutches I was seeing no improvement. I called Ankle N Foot Center on Chicago Ave in West Town and Inquired on costs of services, etc if I came in to have my Ankle looked at. I was shocked at how affordable their services were considering I had no insurance. I saw Dr Elizabeth KurtZ. She is no longer with the practice because she moved out of state. They did X-rays in office that day for about $100 (compared to the $400 at urgent care just weeks before). Dr KurtZ discovered my ankle was actually not sprained but fractured in 2 spots. Urgent care never caught the fractures on their X-rays. Dr KurtZ and the staff at the West Town office took great care of me. I was given a boot to walk in for about 8 weeks. Afterwards I wore a splint/brace for about 8 weeks. I went in for check ups on progress throughout the time I wore the boot and splint/brace. Dr KurtZ really made sure I was doing well and progressing as I should be since I was up and around on the fractures for so long before discovering that was the real issue. My ankle healed beautifully and I have had no issues since. All in, the total cost to me without insurance for all services during the several months of treatment cost me less than $600. To me this was so affordable for the quality of care that I received and the excellent end results I had without having insurance at the time. read more

She sounded like she did not care to be in the office nor speak to patients. She kept asking me medical questions that I did not have the specific answers to. I clearly told her that I was a return patient and to look in my file. I asked her why she was making this complicated. Her only response was to mock me with repeating what I said, "Why am I making this complicated?" Not even a thank you and she hung up on me. Not a pleasant experience at all. Further, this office did not apply a credit to my bill. I purchased the Yelp special here and it was not applied. Please use this review to cancel my scheduled appointment next Monday. You don't deserve my business. It starts at the front of the office. Per George's comment below - of course you are going to be defensive and try to say all of the right things. Maybe you record your calls - go listen to the audio and provide an authentic comment. It would sure beat the nonsense you provide below. My experience with your front office staff was horrible. Try working with the patient as opposed to your generic, canned responses to every less than stellar review. Guess what - your offices don't do everything right like you think. I provided all the information she needed, stated it was for the same exact issue as before. But again, I'm sure you "investigated" this and found no fault of your staff. Dr. Zats is such a beautiful soul inside & out. She really does care about her clients and does her best to make sure the best course of action is taken before thinking about what is going to be the biggest payout for her. After having ankle problems for MONTHS, I decided off a recommendation to go see Dr. Zats. Not only is the office gorgeous and has such a kind & courteous staff, but she talks to you like a friend or relative. Not only that, but she is amazing at making you feel totally comfortable. I saw Dr. Mariano Rivera in December 2013. He only spoke to me about surgery. It took me 3 weeks to obtain a physical therapy prescription. He said I should do ultra-sound therapy. It turns out that my physical therapist said that is a tactic used by doctors to run up the bill, and that ultra-sound therapy does nothing. It is now June, 2014, and my foot still hurts so much. The doctor's office would not send in my bill to be paid to my insurance company, but instead just took out the money from my credit card. My insurance company told me they never received anything from the doctor's office. I am very upset with this doctor, and will never go back to him. He did not help me at all. read more

After months of incorrect diagnosis by urgent care centers, Dr Zats walked me through the potential issues at the heart of the diagnosis, her thinking about the ailment, potential corrective measures, treatment pathways, history of the ailment, potential alternative complications, etc. The conversation was engaging, making sure I understood root cause, treatment pathways, alternative pathways, etc. We even avoided the likely unnecessary precautionary tests, after a discussion on likely probabilities, etc. The office saw me on time at my confirmed same day appointment. Dr Zats is the best podiatrist in Chicago. And trust, because I've seen them all. After a long drama with my Achilles tendonitis, I finally found a doctor who was willing to try something new on me, and it's working. I am so thankful for Dr Zats' attention to me and helping me work through my issues. There was no judgement whatsoever, just care. She never spoke down to me like I wouldn't understand something, and when I asked questions she's patient and really takes the time to explain what's happening. Nearly the entire staff here is on point. There's one PA (I think) who really runs me the wrong way (trash talking other podiatrists I'd seen, blaming me for issues, etc) but other than that they all seem truly invested in my recovery. I was very impressed with the patient care and service I received at the Ankle N Foot center. It's conveniently located downtown, and parking is not difficult. From booking the appointment all the way through treatment and billing, I felt like I was treated with respect and dignity. Dr. Zats took care of my ankle issue, explaining in understandable detail what she was seeing, providing all the treatment options and some great suggestions for things to look out for in the future. I started going to the Ankle N Foot Centers in June 2013 because I had been having problems with my left foot and ankle for years. I had gone to several different doctors over the years and none could figure out the problem. After my first appointment with doctor Zats, I knew I'd finally get some answers. I went to Dr. Zat for Plantar Fascitis. I have been to 2 other doctors in 4 years. I had shot, night splints and meds nothing help. But Dr. Zats did it. Staff is excellent. Beware of their billing practices. They told me that my second pair of orthotics are covered by insurance, no problem. 8 months later I get a bill for $540 since they are not covered and of course they say no returns on custom orthotics. Dr. Zats is absolutely incredible! I cannot recommend her enough if you need a podiatrist. She is extremely knowledgeable and will work with you on holistic care of your issue. I'm a marathoner, and she has frank conversations about how my injuries can impact will be impacted by my training, but also discusses options to keep me training. She has an incredible bedside manner, and is just fun to talk to - beyond the actual doctoring. The staff at the clinic has all been great - very professional, helpful and responsive. This isn't just the bed podiatry experience I've ever had - it's the best medical experience. Go to them - you won't regret it. read more
