Since we thought the issue was one in which we would just need to replace the face of the skimmer box, we took it off. Come to find out, Bob did not account for stretching the water in the pool would have on the liner, so the liner now sags so low we can not put the skimmer face back on. Even after all of this, I called to have a discussion about how we could repair it and Bob's starts off the conversation with it is not his problem. However, when I explained that I was going to consider paying to have him fix the issue, he became more receptive to having a discussion. His action in how he deals with customers is not one that I would want other people to experience.

Yelp ap pop up there I found AQRS Contractors pools service. Hopeful, my 1st phone call to make an apt AQRS was friendly, informative and so supportive. AQRS family team showed up on time 5/5/2026. They all work together like a groomed assembly. No sales pitch.... any of my worn out pool parts, they had available on the truck , my choice if wanted to replace the part. They kept me informed of the whole pool opening service AQRS after only 1 hr 45 min. finished and they left my property clean and neat. They reviewed what to do to maintain, and they are always a call away. I knew the cost of opening pool service @ time I booked the 1st apt. I waited nearly three weeks for my initial appointment. I was told I would receive an email the day before to confirm the appointment and a text message on the day of the appointment with my arrival time. Neither of those happened. After waiting most of the day, I finally emailed around 3:00 p.m. to ask if they were still coming. Only then was I told that they had decided not to come because of the weather. I completely understand that weather can affect appointments, but I would have expected someone to proactively call, text, or email me to let me know instead of leaving me waiting all day. They asked if I could reschedule for the following day. I replied that I wasn't available then but could do the day after or over the weekend. I never received a response. The next day, I had to follow up again to ask if there was an update. I was then told they were fully booked on Friday and Saturday, with the next available appointment being the following Tuesday. What was most frustrating was that there didn't seem to be any effort to prioritize customers whose appointments had been cancelled due to the weather. I understand that schedules change, but good communication and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like my time wasn't valued. They may be good at what they do, but unfortunately I'll never know because we never got that far. Their communication and overall customer service practices need significant improvement. I prefer to work with businesses that value their customers' time and make communication a priority.

We hired Eric to replace our pool liner. During the week leading up to the installation appointment…read morehe kept in touch with us since the weather could have been an issue on the day of the install. They ended up coming the day before scheduled due to rain so they could get the job done. The installation lasted most of the day and they were very meticulous. They took great care removing and disposing of the old liner, raking and cleaning the old sand, adding and leveling new sand, taking care of rust spots and removing all wrinkles in the liner before filling the pool partway and cutting out expertly for the skimmer and return. He even called a couple days later to see how everything was. We're very pleased and will be calling him in the future if we ever need help with our pool.
