Needed a new filter system put together and hooked up. And shut off valves put in. Chris came out was very professional. His price was fair and everything hooked up exactly the way i wanted it. I couldn't be more happy and highly recommend this company and this is the height of the pool season and I was able to get them to come out after calling him a few days ago so I was extremely impressed. I didn't have much success, with other companies on a timely fashion so this means a lot to me. A joke. Scheduled an appointment to have liner replacement on 5/18. No show, no call, nada. Then when you call their number a chatbot answers the phone and asks questions and tells you Chris will call you back. Needless to say, no call back. Don't waste your time and get frustrated, call someone else. read more

Somebody must stop these guys. They have no clue of what they are doing and should not be near anyone's pool. I signed a contract with them to open, clean every two weeks and close the pool. They came, removed the cover, destroyed my equipment and left. i have been calling them 5-7 times a day, everyday and they never returned my calls until recently to tell me that my equipment is not working. Yes he's a young guy, but things are different this year and he figured out a new system. He stayed in touch as he ran longer with another client and let me know. Our pool is clear today after he cleaned a very dirty pool yesterday. Price is right! Was much less expensive than others... and cleaned my pool. Chris... What a JOKE!!! This can't be a legitimate business. Contacted North Shore Pool Boys last August for a service call. Scheduled an appointment with Chris. Never showed up, never called, nothing. Found someone else to do the work. This spring I get a text from NS Pool Boys to have them open our pool. They even offered a discount (lol) what good is a discount if they never show up? Long story short, we have had a very hard time getting a reliable pool service. Called Chris, told what we needed and he said he could do it and scheduled an appointment. Reminded him he said the same thing last year and never showed up. He apologized and said this was a new year. Apparently not! Again he didn't show up, voice mail full. Not sure if this is even a real business or just a Con Job. Take my advice and don't even bother contacting North Shore Pool boys. read more

We absolutely love the North Shore Pool Boys. In the past, we've hired several different Pool service companies on the North Shore and we're very disappointed. This year we had cracked pipes under the concrete. I googled Pool companies and Northshore Pool Boys popped up. I had never heard of them and I said well They're The only ones we haven't used so I called them. They came right out figured out where the damage was handled that and then we discovered that the filter being 30 years old needed to be replaced. Chris recommended a filter went and bought it. They installed it cleaned the pool and got it running. he was very patient and explained everything that I would need to know and answered any questions I asked. Several times I had questions. I text him and within minutes, he responded to me. we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the price was. We will definitely be using them exclusively from now on for opening and closing the pool. We were so lucky to find them. They were knowledgeable, professional, reliable, and very pleasant to deal with. read more

This is by far the worst company and individuals. Totally unreliable, irresponsible unprofessional and deceitful individuals (Chris, who I believe is the owner, was the one who did the job). He did not complete the opening task, improperly fitted the filter sytem, left the cone screen for caretaker which destroyed the care taker system and cost me a lot of money. They spilled the leaves and debris on the top of the pool cover into the pool making it so dirty a d required a lot of rounds of vacuuming. After promising to comeback to finish the job, they stopped answering my calls. And this happenes after requesting for and receiving full payment. Their unprofessional and incomplete work is still costing me thoudands. Simply the worst company and individuals ever, they are just in the business to make a quick buck and should never be anywhere near anyone's pool. read more

Don't ever use this company. They quote price for complete opening of the pool and take the cover off than say it's going to cost double because green to blue water is more. What pool water isn't green when you first take the cover off. Rip off and a scam! If they quote you $350 for pool opening, please know that is for them to literally just take off the cover even though they will tell you it includes all chemicals and a free vacuum. read more

Highly recommend. We hired Chris to open my parents heated in-ground pool and he did a wonderful and profession job for my parents' did such a great job, my parents have hired him to come on a weekly schedule to take care of the pool. read more
