This is my neighborhood vape shop and I've been going there for years, but whoever mans the counter in the evenings, he needs a new job. I went in to get a device today and asked him if he had recommendations, to which he said, "no". I stood there trying to figure out if he had anything else but that was that. I've been coming here since they opened and never had an issue until today where I overheard an employee having a conversation about how an area is unsafe and pointed to the color of the shirt of the man he was talking to, which was black, not once but twice and laughing saying "it's because of them" pointing. When I said I was disgusted and shocked to hear him speak like that, he said it was a private conversation and to "mind my business" as he was checking me out and then had the nerve to flip me off with some expletives. Literally what? Never seen him before either *12/4 update* Manager responded on IG saying the employee was talked to and this won't happen again. Still employed. If you want to support racist businesses and maybe get verbally attacked, shop here! Absolutely ridiculous. *12/24 update* The manager I referred to above has since blocked me and Elite Smoke Shop messaged me via IG and said that the customer who the employee was talking to and the employee did not say anything discriminatory and invited me to come in to talk about it. Also said that if I was a loyal customer I would know they aren't racist. Nice recant and reasoning guys! I was fortunate enough to come across elite smoke shop about 3 months ago and they are officially become my all-time favorite smoke shop. The employees there are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. One employee in particular, TIGRAN, has always been VERY KIND AND IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE VARIOUS GLASSSWARE ETC. One time I came in looking for a product that would have been a big sale, however I didn't know that it wasn't wax smoking compatible. I would have gotten home and been very disappointed, but thank God for honest employees full of integrity like TIGRAN. My partner buys his e-cig vape juice here, so I often times accompany him and browse around. The staff are really nice and it's always the same guys who make us feel welcome when we walk in the door. In addition to a selection of vape juice, they have a really cool cigar selection in a big ol' humidor. While I don't partake, I'm always impressed to peek in at the variety. They also have a bunch of hookahs and flavored tobaccos and great case of Zippos, among other things. Recently they added Lotto tickets, which is awesome as it gives me something to buy too! When I was smoking cigarettes this was my place to buy, my usual domestic brands always cheap, but they also have some import cigarettes, and some specialty ones as well.
