Huge selection of pipes and hookahs. Allllll the basic head shop stuff is covered here. Semi decent selection of hookah tobacco, but they DO have alllll the supplies you'll ever need to enjoy your hookah. Prices are a little marked up, but it comes with the territory. This shop is located across the street from Fairfax High School. I stopped by last weekend to pick up some supplies for my hookah. The guy working there was really helpful and showed me and my friends a variety of options. While I appreciated him telling us that "this brand is better" or "this is a healthier option" I couldn't help but feel like he was just trying to sell the more expensive product to us. Stumbled in here one night thinking it might have some unique pieces. I'm sick of seeing all the same kinds of glass - especially the novelty pieces. You know what I'm talking about; the Angry Birds, Star Wars, etc. I just want to find a shop that has something unique. This is your average smoke shop. They have flavored rolling papers, like all kinds of flavors, but they hardly function. This shop is lame and has nothing much to offer. It closes way before my grandma's bedtime and she's 102. A few weeks ago, I purchased a hookah piece as a birthday present from Melrose Smoke Shop. We gave it to our friend and prepared the hookah. Upon filling it with water, the glass instantly cracked. We took it back to Melrose Smoke Shop to exchange it. The salesman was rude and refused to even have a conversation about it. He dismissed me while mumbling about how it probably broke because I didn't know how to use it. This is certainly not the case, I have been making hookah with my family since I was a teenager. I would discourage any fellow hookah enthusiasts from doing business here as the customer service we experienced was surprisingly subpar. We all work hard for our money and when we purchase an expensive piece as a gift, we should be able to expect that the shelf life of that gift is longer than a few hours. read more

Went into this shop on a Sunday night. Guy was charging 60% more than neighboring shops for the same exact Starbuzz Tobacco, $16 here for the small tin compared to $10 almost everywhere else). It was super obvious that he just came up with a random price and was trying to rip us off. He also kept pressuring us relentlessly to buy his favorite flavors instead of the one we came in and asked for, which was not in stock. He didn't even listen when we said no.
