After just a few weeks I felt more energetic and started to feel myself trust my body more. My teenage daughter comes with me as her schedule allows and although we are there together and even do some of the same things our workouts are customized to us. Rob is very good at what he does. I have worked with trainers before and Rob cares about your workout but also how you will feel the next day. He spends time to learn your goals and works you towards them and is very encouraging. Today I had less than my best workout and he pointed out my overall growth, how well I did my first set of exercises and gave me more time to stretch along with tips to help muscles soreness. Heather is an amazing personal training! She is incredibly smart, and educates you on what she is doing and why, and notices how your body is functioning in ways you didn't even consider. She was so energetic and passionate even at 7:30 pm!! Even though I was her last client at the end of a long day, she treated me like her first. I have some injuries and limitations and she was really good about being mindful of that yet still pushing me. And she would even get down and do the more heinous (but good for you!) core and leg exercises right along with me! Not just demonstrating, actually doing them! So o felt very motivated and also like we were in it together. This type of training is a little on the pricier side, it's true. But the trainers are genuine and care so much about their clients and their work. You really feel that. You feel cared about. So if you really are looking for solid guidance and a program that will grow with you as you improve, I recommend this place and these trainers. Definitely a great find when all the other sport stores haven't seen dumbells in a really long time. Besides weights, this store has any equipment machine you might be looking for. Elipticals, treadmills, bikes, row machines...it's all there. One of the owners was working the night I came in and had all the information you'd ever need about the machines in the store. 100% knowledgeable. Big thanks to Matt for all the tips and advice on the eliptical machines. I was so happy when I found my dumbells. Makes working out at home during a pandemic so much better. Next up- really considering the eliptical. I'll keep you posted when I make that leap into home gym equipment. I'm definitely tempted by the high quality of the machines being sold. Stay tuned!
