My garage is set wayyyy back detached from my house, so it is a very long driveway - it's been over a year, and we love it. Several neighbors have asked for his info, even leaving notes in my mailbox, and everyone agrees that I brought up the whole block's value. This is a long-term investment that has already started to pay off. I'll also add that my village, in spite of my permit application being sent in in November, did not tell me until two months later in January that they were going to tear up my street, the gutters, and that everyone's apron (including my brand new beautiful apron) would be destroyed, to be fixed at my own expense. I reached out to Manuel, and without even telling me, the crew came and completely reset my paver apron once the road was done, just out of kindness. I learned a lot just watching them work. We transplanted at the worst possible time while the shrub had started flowering, and we knew there was a high probability it wouldn't survive the transplant. However it's been three weeks and the shrub is blooming and alive, and we think this is largely due to how cleanly they cut the roots and how quickly and securely they got it back into the ground. Chris and his team were efficient (on time everyday - worked on Saturdays) easy to communicate with and kept me informed throughout the process. Asking for my input and adjusting to my preferences. When discussing the estimate and hashing out the details my Dad suggested we add a 'Time' clause ie 'If you go longer than the agreed upon time frame of 5 weeks there will be a monetary penalty', well Chris did not bat an eyelash and agreed without hesitation - he knows his crew and how they work so was not at all worried about running long - and to our delight he was RIGHT!! They estimated 5 weeks for a basement remodel to include demo, a true bedroom, tv room and a fully built bathroom with plumbing and were done in 4!!! We have been living in the space for almost a month now and have had no issues, no surprises - not one!! I find this to be a point of praise for AB Remodeling!! Chris and his crew were respectful of our home, were helpful in general and cleaned up all of the construction mess - to include hauling away all the trash. This really is a one stop shop kinda company, demo, planning, building, electric, tiling to plumbing... they did it all with ease. So helpful to us. What really set Chris apart was how involved he was before the work even began--and all the way through the project. He offered great design and layout suggestions we honestly wouldn't have thought of on our own, from flooring choices to lighting to small details that made a big difference. He also helped design the space so it functions like three different rooms while still feeling like one connected, open area, which completely changed how we use it. His team was on time, professional, and incredibly respectful. They put down protective matting as they went in and out of the basement, swept the floors daily, cleaned up debris as they worked, and treated our home with real care. They even took their shoes off before coming inside. It genuinely felt like they were remodeling their own home, not just doing a job. The crew truly felt like family, and the before-and-after transformation of our basement is incredible. There were also a lot of thoughtful touches that really stood out. It's peaceful, quiet, and truly enjoyable. What we expected to be just a more functional space turned into a place we actually love spending time in. I hired them to pour concrete- All work to be pitched properly for proper water drainage- exactly what our contract stated. Instead, the concrete on one side was pitched toward my house, causing water to come inside. Matt promised twice to come look at it, but was a no-show both times. When I first confronted him about ghosting me, he later called ranting about how busy he was, implying he didn't have time for me. He even said it wasn't his fault my house sits low--yet still took the job (and my payment) without hesitation. This company used to be T/S Concrete with terrible reviews -- the name change doesn't seem to have changed the service. The work looks nice and prices are competitive, but what good is that if it damages your home? If you decide to hire, DO NOT make final payment until you confirm proper drainage. Best of luck.
