The price they quoted me was around $3,000, and I've included some pictures below. What concerns me most is the lack of trust I now have in their recommendations. I previously hired this company to do tuckpointing work for me. About three years later, I contacted them about touching up a few areas, and I was told the work was already in bad shape. When I reminded them that they were the ones who had performed the original work, the response was essentially, "Oh, we can just repair these couple of bricks. It's not a big deal." After that experience, and now being presented with what I believe is an unnecessarily expensive repair, I simply don't feel comfortable doing business with this company anymore. When you hire a company and spend good money on their work, you expect fair pricing, honest recommendations, and quality workmanship. Unfortunately, that's not the experience I had.

The company refused to take responsibility for the poor workmanship and then reluctantly did a rush job to try to rectify the situation. Now we are stuck with discolored and cracked concrete that didn't cure correctly because it was poured so late in the fall and the weather was too cold. It's a shame that in order to hold this contractor accountable we have to literally take him to court. It's exhausting and expensive so we look at this poor job everyday instead.
