He told me that although I didn't want to go to a dealer, that would be my best bet because they will likely fix it for free. He also didn't charge me for diagnosing the problem. He was extremely kind and honest, I feel so much better knowing exactly what the problem is and that I won't be dragged along when I take it to the dealer. I will definitely bring my car back to him in the event I need repairs in the future.

Now it's time to talk money and I meet Ben, the co-owner and main sales force. The vehicle seemed to need a couple minor things to help make me comfortable with the purchase, and these were done, WITH a LOANER car, thanks to Ben. Dave at the front counter is Ben's right hand man, and very capable. Every employee I bumped into or interacted with at Gateway was at minimum professional, and as I understand it they are all ASE certified! Between them all, the agreed minor repairs were completed, my full smile installed, deal struck. A good deal. In closing, now many hundreds of miles later, my vehicle is running and behaving perfectly. I bought this at a fair price and Dave and Ben did what they said they would do, and did so respectfully and promptly. They handed me information NO used car seller would ever do, and kept their promises. I would not recommend anyone buy a used vehicle before looking at what Gateway has to offer.
