Scheduled a service with SLCC for a windshild chip repair. Prompt response time, friendly front desk staff helped get a timely, convenient appointment time. Unfortunately, during the service, the windshield was further damaged and ended up with a crack instead. Was notified of the damage by owners and offered to replace windshield at half cost. After discussion, it was agreed upon that the windshield would be replaced for free. They were able to get this accomplished fairly quickly within a week or so. Overall, a very professional interaction. Would use this business again and recommend to others. read more

We have taken three cars to this location after the vehicles were in an accident. The staff is great and service is excellent. The last vehicle that was worked on was not clean inside from the kids making a mess. When we picked it up, it looked like it was detailed n the inside. I have needed to use a collision center twice since living here, due to people just not paying attention while driving. This collision center makes getting repairs so convenient. Every time they have had the repairs done either on schedule or ahead of schedule. Additionally they always wash and detail the cars, they look immaculate when they come back! I also like how they work seamlessly with a car rental company to have a rental waiting for you. I would go there any time I need collision work done. I had to take in my Ford Fusion after colliding with a wall of ice. After entering the building I was immediately helped and my car was inspected in their drive thru area. 20 minutes later I had my keys back and an appointment to drop my car off. The initial day the employees were very nice and accommodating, there was even free soda while you wait! After dropping off my car I received daily texts(which you can opt out of) letting me know how the progress was going. The day I picked up my vehicle I had slept through my alarm and it was 10 minutes until close. I gave them a quick call and they were more than happy to stay a little after closing time to let me get my car, on a Friday nonetheless! Usually I would have taken my car to my friend who used to own an auto body shop, but since he changed careers, we had no choice but to find another place to repair my truck. My truck had sustained damage when my husband was driving into his parking garage at work while talking on the phone. Obviously, he hit something and caused damage to our once pristine vehicle. Anyways, we took a while finding a good place that wouldn't charge an arm and a leg for the repair. We finally settled on Shadow Lake Collision Center. At first, I thought it was because it was super close to where we live, but as we come to find out, they are SUPER thorough here! Wow! We picked up the truck today and I almost think it looks better than before we took it there! Not only do they fix your car, but they also wash and detail it for you! Isn't that great? I was very surprised at the fantastic service and great care in which they took do to the job on my car. They provided an up-front estimate and insurance coverage summary within minutes of the vehicle inspection. They completed the work in only two days and it was absolutely perfect! They also performed a complimentary vehicle detailing which is on-par with any detailing business. The price is about what I expected too - not outrageous at all. We truly had a great experience with Shadow Lake Collision from the first visit to our pick-up visit. We were treated with respect from the staff/employees from the beginning to the end. We were offered drinks while the owner went over our car for the estimate. The work on our car was excellent quality from the estimate on the damage to our car - working with our insurance - keeping us updated while the work was being done - till the final end to pick up our car. We were really surprised when we got into our car that it had been cleaned and detailed. We will differently recommend this company to family and friends. My Buick Enclave was hit by a trampoline during a tornado (no joke!) and was pretty beaten up. The body was dented and scratched in multiple places and the windshield was shattered. Checking my car in was a snap and I got my car back earlier than originally estimated. The work looks great and the customer service was outstanding. read more

Let me start off first by saying I used to be a HUGE FAN of Shadow Lake Collision...4 previous repairs jobs, very nice staff, good results, etc. Then there was my latest experience. My practically brand new Lexus with only 1500 miles needed the bumper refinished due to a parking lot encounter (the other driver's fault). Shadow Lake Collision estimated 3 days to finish the car. I told them to take their time and that I was not in a rush. A day and a half later, I received a call saying the car was done...great I thought initially. "Great" quickly turned into "You have got to be kidding me". The result of the first repair attempt resulted in a paint run which I had to point out to them. The defect could not be fixed without repainting the bumper which they willingly did. Once again, I told them to take their time. After the second paint job, the bumper no longer fit as tight as it had from original assembly from the factory or even after the first repair attempt. The top bumper edge stuck out further than the rear quarter panel near the wheel-well on the driver's side. I pointed this out to the shop whereupon their response was basically, it's plastic and that this is an acceptable result. All they offered to do was glue it into place...which would mean the cover couldn't be removed again with permanent damage. I left unhappy with this answer. When I got home, I took a closer look at all the work only to find that the wheel-well liners no longer fit like they did from the factory. Edges appeared frayed and there were gaps. I went to Lexus to compare the fit to that of new cars straight from the factory. Just as I suspected, no gaps or frayed edges. Completely unhappy with the way this was playing out, I contacted my insurance company, submitted pictures of my car with pictures of new cars for comparison. They saw and acknowledged the problems. They authorized me to take it to another body shop to get this fixed correctly. It's too bad this went down like this. I used to recommend Shadow Lake Collision to everyone I ran into that needed auto body work. Heck, I even recommended them to the person that hit me in the parking lot... Unfortunately now, I will be doing the complete opposite. read more

We have done business with Shadow Lake Collision 3 times now. Twice on a 2009 Mazda 6 - perfect both times, and once on a 2015 Subaru Legacy - also perfect. We used insurance for 2 of the visits and didn't have any problems at all. On the out-of-pocket repair, I checked around on prices and they were reasonable, plus I already knew the great quality of their work from an earlier repair. I recommend them although I hope not to need them again any time soon. read more

While my car was in the shop I barely heard from the estimator. Initially they were supposed to repair my bumper...but they ended up replacing , which would've be Fine if they had replaced it correct bumper. Also, the paint was so completely off. It didn't match whatsoever. When I picked it up the employee discussing it with me agreed that it didn't match but asked me to let the paint cure further. Two Weeks later and it of course hadn't changed one bit, shocking! just a couple months before the accident I had many things replaced in my car, including the radiator. Yet when I picked the car up it was dumping coolant. I cannot blame the skip for that, but it is quite the coincidence. The staff was friendly, but my biggest annoyance is that they won't do anything to match the paint. It is certainly far from pre accident condition. And it's not that the paint has faded, as it was completely painted 8/2011 and it's only been 8 months. Completely unsatisfied! read more
