Are you ready to join us Elites? Then you have to get a Tuxedo from Elite Tuxedo and raise your status up immediately. Who knows--you may be invited to dinner with the President? I am going to tell you the good and not so good and the reason they did not earn 4/5-Stars: The Good: The Salesmen knew his stuff, understood the different cuts, and was gracious with his time helping me with Tux rental choices, what the packages includes and sizing me. He knew what he was doing and that's 50% of the battle. Parking is free and easy in the Back of the Store. They have a clean nice restroom. They have fitted shirts and fitted pant for my Athletic body. Tux comes with Shoes, Shirt, Tie, Buttons, Cuff links and the salesman will show you how to put it all on. I was thankful that me made the tie up for me at pickup so I just had to put it back on with no adjustment for the wedding day. The Not So Good: When I came to pick up the Tux and tried it on it, they forgot to lengthen one sleeve. The salesman said it looked fine, but it was ridiculously short--he just did not want to be bothered. The buttons they gave me were too small and kept popping out of the shirt--I literally had to keep buttoning it up more than 25 times. After the ceremony I just took all the gold/black buttons off and used the clear shirt buttons. Need larger buttons for this shirt. Two of the buttons were new and shiny gold, and two tarnished old. I was promised new buttons and cuff-links but they gave me old and I forgot to check. One cuff-link clasp was warn and would not stay closed and popped off tot he ground. I had to finish the wedding with out the cuff-links. So in sum--they have poor buttons and cuff-links here--maybe buy your own in Macy's? I was given the wrong shoes at pickup and they did not fit. The salesman acknowledged that and found the shoes that were on my contract but not before telling me to try to fit in the wrong too tight shoes first. Limited rental style choices here. Rental was $185 which is expensive for what you are getting. ---------- TIPS: When you come here to pick up your stuff give lot's of time to try on and check, check, check that it's all correct. There is high likelihood things will not be done right as I experienced. They may tell you it's right to get you out of the store but be tough! Stand your ground! I probably would rent somewhere else next time. If I was more than an invited guest at an important event--I would not rent here. Better practice is to just buy your own Tux. They only adjust sleeve length and pants length on rentals. --- In sum, Tux looked good for the wedding as a guest, but it was a lot of work and time to get it right! Better to buy a Tux if you are going to more than 1 event. read more

I have no complaints about my rental from Elite Tuxedo. From the initial fit to the pickup - everything ran smoothly. I tried on the final tuxedo a couple days before my event and found one of the buttons needed to be fixed. They fixed it on the spot! Returning the suit was also very simple. read more

The switcharooney of the tux a day before my wedding. This is what killed it for me. Nick was great at the ORIGINAL placing of the order rental but MIA the day of pickup. My best man is 5'11 275 and they hand him a SLIM FIT TUX Wtf I was told my grooms mans suit had been changed weeks earlier. Unfortuatly Elite tuxedo failed to notify me of the change( nicMIA ). It's been a month since my event, and I recommended renting from Elite Tuxedo whenever you need a tuxedo! It has the vibes of a mom and pop shop. The woman working there was very helpful! I had no idea how to wear a tuxedo properly and what I look good/better in, but she helped give me her opinions, let me know if a tuxedo and pants are too big, and gave me the proper fitter clothes I was looking for. The service was great and the tuxedo alone is cheaper than more well known places. I'm definitely going to go back if I ever need to again. read more

To whom it may concern, I am writing as a deeply disappointed bride regarding the tuxedo service my husband and his best man received for our wedding on August 9, 2025. We came into your store on June 19, 2025, and made it very clear that we did not want black tuxedos. Our wedding colors were lavender and silver, so we specifically chose and were fitted for two grey tuxedos -- one steel grey and one light grey -- for the groom and best man. We were told the tuxes would be ready for pickup on Thursday, August 7. When my husband and his best man arrived, they were shocked to find that not only were the tuxedos NOT the ones we selected, but one was grey and the other was black, which we had explicitly said we did not want. Even worse, neither tuxedo fit properly. Both men are tall and broad-shouldered, but were given slim-fit jackets that couldn't be buttoned, and pants that had to be pinned to stay up. The store attempted to "fix" the issue on the spot by tacking the garments with pins, which was both unprofessional and unacceptable. As a result, both the groom and best man were visibly uncomfortable and poorly dressed on our wedding day -- something that no couple should ever have to experience. We received no communication about any changes being made -- no phone calls, no texts, no emails. Had we been informed ahead of time, we might have had the opportunity to make other arrangements. We attempted to follow up the very next day but were given the runaround. The associate who originally helped us, Nick, was suddenly unavailable and has still not contacted us back. This was a devastating experience for a day that should have been perfect. I am beyond disappointed with the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability from your company. We (my spouse and I) love this place and have rented a tuxedo from them multiple times now, at least twice. They are helpful, efficient, and understanding. For example, we had to return our text couple days late and while they did charge us, it was a very reasonable fee. My husband worked with Vinny who was so helpful and helped him find just the right tux for a black tie wedding we were going to the next day. Vinny was a non-nonsense guy who understood what my husband was looking for, and found it for him efficiently, and last minute. Tough to fit ladies and gentlemen in need of a tuxedo, have I got a scoop for you! I'm not young anymore, and I have never been tall, or lean, although I might be a bit mean. I went to Elite Tuxedo just to prove myself right: No penguin suit was ever gonna fit me and look right. Took Nick Neal about 20 minutes to prove me wrong, with a flourish. It's hard to explain how the smiling young man came up with perfectly fitting everything without looking like he was even trying. It was a bit like magic. He'd ask a question or two, measure a little, disappear for a bit, and pop back out with one after another perfectly fitting pieces of clothing. He asked what I liked, made suggestions, all with the light, deft touch of an experienced fashion consultant. Imagining the store must have a huge inventory, I asked Nick how long it had taken him to learn it. He answered honestly: "About 6 months." It sure showed. And he's a diplomat too: When he measured my waist, I told him I didn't want to know the result. And he didn't tell me. Smart. Folks, if you need a tuxedo, do yourself a favor : Go see Nick at Elite. I am sharing my review in hopes of this business actually taking action and making change for the better. Walked in here for a tux rental. The young gentleman at the counter was very kind. As we were going through the motions of rental - he informed me rentals are only for 1 day or a weekend max. I let him know I needed it for 6 days as I was traveling, and he said it would be 50%+ more so looking at almost 300$ I let him know all other tux shops in town rent out for 1 week, and gave him and opportunity to be competitive. He said he brought this up to management multiple times but they don't care, and there was nothing he could do, so I didn't care either. So now instead of a new relationship and client, you got someone walking out the door and driving 10 mins south to someone who is awesome and does care, is less expensive, and higher quality near culver. Does CPA not mean anything to this business? They would rather grub and gouge out a single customer, then have recurring revenue, referrals, and be competitive. Makes 0 sense to me. In this case 50% greed turned into 0% revenue. Good luck! read more

Winner winner chicken dinner I dragged the teen over as soon as they opened on Sunday, worried and stressed we wouldn't be successful. But man did they take care of us! When I came to pick it up, it was exactly what I asked for, all ready to go. For pickup on Friday and return on Monday (for a Sunday wedding) the rental cost $155.00. This year (2015) I was invited to attend the Grammy Awards. It was very last minute and I was desperate for a tux to rent. I called Elite Tuxedo from my home in Maryland and spoke with representative Angelo. He was very polite and together we figured out what time would be best for me to stop by the store during my trip to ensure I would be in good shape for the telecast. Fast forward a couple days, just two before event night - I stopped by the store and met Angelo, who remembered our conversation on the phone before. In all of one glance, he knew just the right style and fit for me. A few minor adjustments later, everything was ready.. SAME NIGHT. I must have been in the store a total of 40 minutes. Never had I seen such passion, patience, professionalism, and empathy displayed by any staff.
