This place is pure magic. Came in yesterday with my boyfriend to get him a suit for my cousin's wedding in a week. He asked what color and what the occasion was, took about a 7 second look at my boyfriend, and handed him an incredibly high quality suit off the rack that fit him PERFECTLY. And for only $90, it was unbelievable! He sent us to a tailor around the corner that only charged $7 to hem the pants (and had it ready in 10 minutes) so we will absolutely be back for any and all suit needs in the future. I was leery about the area, as it is not the best area, and the parking is non existent, but they are worth the drive. Fast, courteous, and affordable. I am so pleased with the selection and service of this place. My husband has been complaining for years that he needs a suit. He is picky, has shopping-anxiety and is extremely frugal. I have been thinking about the fashion district and wondering if the claims that there are good deals on fashionable traditional men's clothing were true. Try this place. We were in and out in under 40 minutes. The owner is an amazing man and his staff is wonderful too. Hubby got a very attractive Italian designed slim-fit grey suit, with 2 shirts, 2 ties, and a belt for $150. It was tailored on the spot for a few dollars as well. Go to Papa!!! Papa is almost as good as the lady he has working for him. They ALWAYS take care of me when I come in and during this last wedding season I was in there about 5 times. If they don't have what you are looking for then they will find it, on site tailors can have your suit custom fitted in a couple of hours for a nominal fee. Basically every time I walked out, I had the suit I wanted, tailored to my specifics for a little less than 200. I drive about 30 miles one way to come here and it is well worth it. read more

For over 2 years I've been purchasing suits from Downtown Suit Outlet. All of the employees are kind and sweet and most importantly very helpful. The person that helps me the most is "Papa". He knows his suits. He knows your size when you walk in. If you tell him what you want or looking for, he will accommodate as best as he can. I've purchased all of my suits from Formal Events, Weddings, Business Functions and Job Interviews. They have me looking sharp every time. The best part is they tailor my suits to my request. The cost of tailoring is cheap and fast. I like the Slim Fit (European Look) however my shoulders and arms are too broad. Lets just say, they make it happen. The best part is, you save at least 50% - 60% off what you would pay at Macy's, Nordstroms, or any other department stores. ATTENTION TO THOSE GETTING MARRIED: Don't bother renting an expensive suit from Tux Shop or Friar Tux. You will pay WAY LESS buying a suit from Papa then renting one. Trust me!!!
