    My husband and I spent $30,000 on a Mitsubishi mini split about 4 years ago through Springdale Heat…read moreand Air in Cleveland Tennessee. We have been purchasing annual maintenance from Springdale since the install warranty lapsed, which provides us two maintenance visits per year. In November 2025 Springdale called me to schedule our last maintenance visit for the year and said that they would send a renewal for next year's maintenance after. The appointment was scheduled for December 29th at 11am. At 1pm on December 29, I had no word from Springdale. I called the office and was told that Springdale had been sold, and had relocated to Chattanooga. This put us outside of their service area and they would not be keeping the appointment or renewing the service contract. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was on vacation.  I did receive a return call from the service manager, Matthew, a very knowledgeable and professional person who had been part of the team that initially installed our system. He did not have the authority to change the service area decision but said he would give my message to the general manager. More than a week later I still had not heard from Springdale. I tried to speak to the general manager and was told he was out. Springdale did schedule the final maintenance on my service contract, since all of the indoor units were displaying a "check filter" error and provided service the following week. Springdale technicians were able to provide this service for us, but were unable to answer any of our other concerns. We asked again that Springdale's general manager call us. When we expressed concern about the manufacture warranty on this very expensive system, we were told that the warranty has not been compromised, but have no answer on who will provide warranty service. It was suggested that we watch YouTube videos to learn to clean and maintain the system ourselves. We still have not heard from the general manager at Springdale. They described that they were sold but are still doing business under the Springdale name.

It was reported the A/C capacitor was slightly below standard, but should not be considered a concern at this point. I truly appreciate honest, courteous professionals who brought their best game to my residence. No "upselling" or other expense generating work was called for. Just honest work at a very reasonable price. My compliments to Jay and his assistant, and Springdale HVAC for a "Job Well Done!"

    -0- stars. Terrible customer service. Technician spent 3 hours at our house and maybe 30 mins…read morewith our heating units the remainder of the time he sat in his truck on phone. When he was under the house checking the unit he was on the phone having a personal phone call. He did not wear a mask in my house or when communicating with us and made comment on the phone to someone he was asymptomatic. When I confronted him he said "oh no My cousin has covid but I tested negative". They left us without any heat. Will never use them again or recommend to anyone. Not a trustworthy company.

First, I live…read more600 miles away in Ohio trying to handle all this when my mom went into the hospital and a nursing facility. First, they sold my mom an old, if not used, heat pump and a/c at full price. Too easy to take advantage of the elderly. She bought an extended service plan, which they recommended because of the condition of the "new" unit. Even though it was under this plan and was serviced twice a year faithfully, when we put her house on the market, we had to have about 5 or 6 service calls to get the thing to work. They made an appointment to meet my brother, who drove from ATLANTA to get there, and never showed or called. When I called to find out why the no show, they said "oh, you meant a real appointment, I thought you meant stop by if they could". Then the a/c stopped working the day of the estate sale, they promised to send someone, and never did until almost a week later. Then when the house was under contract and the inspector came, there was yet more wrong, so the house couldn't close until the repair was made. Davis quoted a price twice what it should have been, so we hired a different company to do the repairs for half their quote. In total, my mom probably lost a couple thousand during her estate sale because of the 95 degree heat with no a/c, then a total of $350 to fix a/c that was already checked during the seasonal tune up/check up and declared operational. I would never recommend this company. A couple months worth of frustration dealing with them was awful.
