Brassica was incredible. I'm not quite sure what happened to my review but it's gone. So, pardon me but I don't have the names of the staff anymore. However, when I walked in they were so delightful and present. They helped me with all of my selections because I quite literally knew not what I wanted. In the end, I have such a hefty bag because I wanted to eat everything at home. It smells delicious. When I arrived home, I dug in. Yum yum and more yum. It was so so good. I don't remember what I had but I do remember that the fries were tasty. A little bit more on the potatoey side than I like but still very tasty indeed. I ate those in the car so there are no pictures of them. The meat in my bowl was very very well seasoned and tender... They also gave me a cookie which was pretty good. However, I'm not a salt on my dessert type of girl so it wasn't the best cookie ever. I will certainly go again especially since I can't remember every detail of this last visit. read more

I've been here before! This place has a small but good options on the menu. Definitely get their fries so amazing and they're lemonade oh my gosh, it has mint in it! They do have alcohol as well. It is kind of like a walk-in in line and order what you want like a cafeteria. They were very helpful with explaining ingredients. It is a Mediterranean place so they have falafel. I did the bowl with rice and some fries and a mint lemonade. Definitely recommend the mint lemonade, especially in this hot summer. Service was great. Brassica is basically a Mediterranean, Chipotle-style concept with a more upscale feel, and I loved it! I ordered the bowl with the brown grain mix, chopped kale mix, and hummus as the base. For my protein, I chose the brisket and topped it with everything available, including pickled red onions, pickles, and beets. Since I took my bowl to go, they were kind enough to include all of the sauces so I could try each one. The food tasted fresh, clean, flavorful, and healthy without sacrificing taste. I've said it before and I'll say it again...Elite Weeks are perfect! I love the convenience of building my schedule around elite weeks, perfection. Stopped in on a Sunday (the final day of this great offer). I was greeted right away upon entering, then directed to the start of the line. Had to snap a few pics of the menu, then off I went to build up my salad! I went with the falafel which was incredibly flavorful and made to order! I went in on the toppings too! I ordered the fries, the Tahini chocolate chip cookie (of course), and the minty pink lemonade. The food is really, really tasty and everything was fresh. The freshness really stood out to me. This was a great experience and so glad i saw this location, it's a little ducked off on Voss but it's a great addition to the neighborhood. The space is so inviting and vibrant with fragrance and fresh foods. Thanks you Yelp for this great opportunity. The value was so much more than expected. The staff was so friendly and the elite week process was seamless. The wrap was so tasty and they do not skimp on the fresh ingredients. I wanted to try everything and had to go back for the green sauce bc it paired so well with the chicken. Hate I missed the brisket but will definitely be back. TLDR: great event with a generous meal with sides and drinks in an upscale venue, but I'm not sure I'd personally come back. "upscale CAVA" = more expensive. When we first arrived, there was a long line that inched along. It's a standard build your own bowl / plate system where you choose your base, then your protein, then they layer in veggies and sauces so you would expect that the line would move along, but somehow the process seemed slow even with a number of people behind the counter. Perhaps many people need explanations of the ingredients. Signs with a descriptions would help so that they would have to explain what "baba" is each time. One of the bottlenecks seems to be the checkout person. They are charged with getting sides (fries, falafels, cookies), getting drinks and helping you checkout. [food]: The individual ingredients are fresh and good quality. The flavors together were good but it seemed more fusion and less traditional. The portion sizes seemed small for the price. Thanks to Brassica and our Yelp Houston team for putting this together! The food was delicious and the service was pleasant. Admittedly, I did not prepare myself ahead of time to see what their menu consisted of. However, the first employee at the start of the line greeted me with smiles and walked me through the process despite the line starting to grow behind me. Very much like Cava style, where you build your own bowl, you get to choose between a sandwich, hummus plate, or salad. I decided to go with the hummus plate and chose the brisket as my protein since a side of falafel was already being given. (But in hindsight, I wished I did get all falafel. It was really good.) All the ingredients looked fresh. You really couldn't go wrong with what you chose. I was told you could typically have 6 toppings, but I felt like I chose everything they had. Highly recommend the crispy onions, sweet beets, and all the roasted veggies (eggplant, carrots, cauliflower/broccoli). Topped everything off with their secret sauce, which was definitely garlic based. The French fries came out crispy and seasoned enough. Their dipping sauce complemented it well. I was super excited for some Mediterranean food and Brassica did not disappoint! Came in with a few other fellow Yelp Elites, and when we walked in, there were several others already there, including Sandra and her son Ryder! He was chowing down on some fries and pita, and I asked him if he liked it, and excitedly he said yes!! We all know kids can be picky, but he was here for it, so I knew we'd be in for a good experience! I scouted out the menu for a while because everything looked so good, I wasn't sure what I wanted, but then I opted to go Brisket, because it is different than what I typically get, and wanted to try something new. As you go through the line, the staff is all busy working, prepping food in the back, refilling containers, lots of team work and communication amongst the team as you go through the line. The line is filled with such vibrant colors of meats, veggies, and sauces! I went with the pita, add brisket, hummus, pickled cabbaged, roasted broccoli and cauliflower, red pepper sauce and their house garlic sauce, topped with feta. I also ordered a side of fries, because they looked so good! My friend and I opted to share one of their cookies, which also looked so good, they looked fresh and homemade, and I knew I couldn't eat a whole one, so I'm glad we shared. As we made our way to the table, we awaited our fries, they hand you a number, and bring it out once they're done. The service was excellent. Every person was so kind to us, and genuinely seemed to like being there and helping everyone out with anything they needed or any questions they had. After our phones ate first, we dug in. The first bite I took was such a burst of flavors. I got everything in that first bite, and the sauces really kick it up a notch. The brisket was nice and flavorful, moist and tender. I took a bite of it on its own, and it had a nice seasoning to it. The freshness of the veggies gave some great texture to the sandwich, and the roasted veggies were just what I wanted! The fries were super good too, they come with a side of the house garlic sauce too, I couldn't stop eating those with each bite of the pita sandwich. Our other friends ended up ordering falafel, which I am not usually a fan of, but this was realllly good. It was seasoned really well, the crunch with each bite I loved as well, the seasoning on the crust was just enough. I dipped it in that house sauce, and just I finished the whole bite. A great dish that I would get again. And onto dessert, the cookie was incredible. It was soft, flaky, crunch outsides and a hint of salt to create a great sweet and salty balance, which works so good together. There was lots of seating, the place was very clean, staff would come around and empty your table for you, and I saw them walking around cleaning. I really like the flexibility of Elite Weeks. I was able to drop in and pick up lunch to go. I didn't have a plus one, but appreciated that the June All-Stars had the option of bringing a guest. I wasn't familiar with Brassica before this Elite Week. I had browsed some of the reviews and read that it was a similar set up to Cava. When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the employee. I explained that I was redeeming the Yelp offer, and she told me that I would be able to check in at the end of the line once I ordered my food. This was an extremely generous offer! An entrée, side, cookie, and drink?! It's rare for us to get so much in one offer, but I'll take it! I ordered the salad bowl with chicken, hummus, roasted veggies, pickled veggies, crispy onions, feta, and tahini dressing. The chicken was very tender and flavorful. The bowl didn't look large, but it was very filling! I literally ate on the bowl the entire day. The Brassica Fries were soooo good! I liked the seasoning on them and the sauce that came with it was yummy. I put some of the sauce on my salad and it elevated the flavor! The Tahini Chocolate Chip cookie was one of the best cookies I've ever eaten! I love that it was soft baked. I got an instant dopamine hit the moment I bit into it. It took self control to not devour it all in one sitting. I also had the Minty Pink Lemonade which was so refreshing! Unfortunately I didn't have any cash to tip. By the time I was checking out, I realized I hadn't purchased anything. I asked to buy a bottle of water, but they don't sell bottled water. The employees were super nice and understanding. Thank you to Yelp Houston for getting me into this Yelp Elite Week experience. I come to Houston about twice a year and am always looking for healthy options in the area. I was very grateful that my first meal touching down was Brassica. I was greeted by their warm staff and they explained their menu. They had sandwiches, salads and bowls. The girl behind the counter said their organic pita sandwich was most popular so that's what I got. I got mine with half brisket and chicken along with the many variety of goodies they had. I also got some fries and their tahini cookie on the side. Oh and a delish pink lemonade. My entire meal was fantastic and everything tasted fresh. There was a lot of protein in there and the meats were flavored good. The fries was nice as a side and the tahini chocolate chip cookie was a pleasant ending. Everything was so good and enjoyable. The inside of this place is casual but large. I loved that you build things yourself so you can't go wrong with anything. All the items were fresh. By far, the best vegetarian friendly event I have attended this year. Brassica checked green on all my boxes. I chose the bowl with a little of tahini and a little of baba ganoush. The base was rice, protein was falafel... the falafel- so crispy. Loaded over with pickled cabbage, roasted carrots, broccoli. Good thing I got the sauce on the side, and I strongly recommend everyone to do that. That way I could each flavor burst in my mouth separately. For the drink I got their pink mint lemonade. Just a perfect combination for my falafel salad. Not to forget the fries, the Brassica fries snd their special Tahini cookie was raved about so much, I had to get them and I did, after double checking that they are fried in canola oil. It comes with a garlic yogurt sauce. Their sandwich comes like a popcorn looking presentation. The bread on the fence and the stuffing inside. The staff was especially wonderful. I cannot say enough of how friendly and understanding they were with each and every customer. No rushing, but not lagging either. The team work was very synchronized. Being Junteenth and all it was a pretty busy afternoon but they were in full control. Replacing finished fresh items was done in few seconds. They took the effort to verify when questioned about Ingredients or methods and That is great customer service. I love elite weeks. One gets to go on their own leisure. I met Zain R during lunch time to redeem our offers. The restaurant is quite spacious from inside. It was clean. Workers were all friendly. I went with a brisket salad with all the fixings. We also got an order of fríes and a chocolate chip cookie. The bowl was excellent. Fresh ingredients and it was beautifully presented. Another great Elite event in the book. Located on Voss (same parking lot as the Uptown Whole Foods Market), plenty of parking available. The interior is definitely a step up from Sweetgreen/Cava. The staffs and managers were more than friendly and recommended us to try EVERYTHING. We got a brisket hummus plate and a chicken sandwich. While the meats were tender and well seasoned, we preferred the chicken. What really stood out for me were the vegetables. I enjoyed all the veggies and especially the eggplants. "Make the food system better." Everything was so delicious. You can tell that they use the highest quality ingredients for their chicken, falafel, pita and veggies. We started with a salad plate and then added everything. Salad with lentils and rice topped with half hummus and half baba/smoky eggplant dip with tahini, extra virgin olive oil and roasted garlic. Add some crunch with crispy onions and pita chips. Choose a protein. The slow-roasted chicken shawarma with aromatics & warm spices was so tender and juicy. Add your veggies. House-pickled veggies, marinated eggplant, roasted carrots, cauliflower, sweet beets (my favorite), cucumbers, radishes and crunchy red cabbage pickled in house. The most delicious way to get your veggies!! Add your sauce. Nutty tahini with fresh parsley, lemon and garlic. Special sauce made with organic yogurt, fresh herbs and roasted garlic. Sweet roasted pepper sauce with smoky paprika. Z'hug -a jalapeno cilantro pesto with parsley and with toasted spices. Add a side. I was salivating over getting the falafel again. Sooooo good. I love a great Elite Week experience when it's in my neck of the woods! I was very lucky and glad to make it into this event! I hadn't heard of Brassica, but it seemed like an interesting fast casual experience. It's perfect for those who want a quick casual customisable meal with quality ingredients. I came here in the evening, and there seemed to be a decent number of people dining in including some Yelpers. While I asked for my meal for dine in, the employee packed it for to go, which is fine because I usually have leftovers to take back. I went ahead and ordered a salad with brisket and pretty much includes all of the toppings and tahini sauce. Added fries and a cookie as well. It was definitely a hefty meal, and I marvelled at the lovely combinations of flavors and textures of the salad. The brisket was slightly dry, but thankfully there was enough moisture from the other components of the salad. The fries were very heavily seasoned and a nice addition. Of course the cookie was perfection with a nice gooey middle and crisp edge. It was the typical and familiar Sysco cookie, which I love. I ended up stuffing myself silly. Yum. Unbelievably fresh and delicious food made in this casual upscale Mediterranean restaurant from Ohio. Thank you to our Htown CM extroidinaire Jando and Yelp Houston for these amazing elite events. The owner and asst manager really took care of us to make us feel welcome . She explained how their dough was made from healthy ingredients and could watch as they were made in an oven in front of us. I choose the plate with babagonoush and hummus with salad vegetables such as pickled cabbage( was surprised how good it was because normally do not like cabbage) , sweet pickled pickles and beets. They were so organized with each section .With chicken that was perfectly seasoned and several special sauce for their falafel, I WAS IN FOOD HEAVEN!! Loved this experience, I'm generally a fan of these healthy, fast-casual eateries. I knew it was their first location in Houston so was very excited to try it. Pretty straight forward counter service, build-your-own style, think of a Mediterranean Chipotle.. We get to pick a base (salad, sandwich, or plate), load up on salad greens, choice of a protein, and top it with a wide variety of toppings/sauces. I went with a brisket salad bowl and loaded it up with pretty much the works.. I was a big fan of the flavors and everything tasted fresh. Brassica absolutely delivered for Yelp Elite Week! 10/10 in my book. I visited on Sunday, the final day of Elite Week, around 1:30pm. There was plenty of parking available, though the restaurant itself was quite busy. I waited in line for about 10 minutes before placing my order, which wasn't bad considering the crowd. The setup is similar to Chipotle with an assembly-line style ordering process, but thankfully they are nowhere near as stingy with the portions. When I let the staff know I was there for the Yelp Elite offer, they walked me through everything that was included. The offer included a bowl or sandwich, pita bread, French fries, a cookie, and a drink. Talk about a generous offer. I ordered a veggie bowl with falafel to go. Everything looked fresh and well made. I also got fries, pita bread, a cookie and the lemonade. The restaurant was also spotless, which I always appreciate. What stood out most though was the customer service. My fries took a little longer than expected, and while I didn't think the wait was excessive, one of the staff members noticed I was waiting and proactively gave me a coupon for a free meal on my next visit. I was honestly taken aback by that. It showed a level of attentiveness and hospitality that you don't see often, especially nowadays. Overall, the food was great, service was amazing, and I enjoyed the experience. Brassica made a great first impression. Wow. I'm extremely impressed! The menu is simple.. sandwich, hummus plate or salad! My husband and I came to have a sweet Father's Day lunch, and we got there right before the church rush! We both wanted the sandwich and I got chicken and he got steak. We also ordered a side of fries, falafel and a chocolate chip cookie! I also wanted to try their minty lemonade and got one too! Service was efficient and friendly! They also did not go cheap on the portions. I particularly loved the brisket and their roasted veggies on the sandwich! By far one of my favourite Yelp elite week experiences ever. This place is fantastic. It had been pending on the Yelp elite calendar for a while and I had been excited about it for a while. It was perfect timing I just got back to the USA yesterday so I was prepared to chow down on some tasty 'merican treats after being abroad for a while. There was ample parking out in a shared lot. Pro tip, there is a fence separating the Whole Foods lot from this strip mall so you cannot park at Whole Foods and walk across. The robot initially sent me to the Whole Foods lot and then I needed to re-route, wasting valuable time I could have been dining in Brassica instead. The resto is clean, well-designed, and upscale upon entry. This is not a "nice chipotle" style, this is in a whole different S tier so far above chipotle that chipotle can't see them through the clouds, just like the Jetsons. The guys behind the counter were all very friendly and welcoming to get me checked in and kept pointing out I could order WHATEVER I wanted. They made a point of that, I liked it, some of the places that invite us in are so stingy it is curious why they wanted us to check out 0.01% of their offerings and prevent us from trying stuff that actually caught our eye since Yelp elites are very diverse and have different tastes. Meanwhile, as kind and welcoming souls, the door was open to the cupboards on anything I desired at Brassica. Starting off from the beginning I knew this would be an easy five stars to award. I went with the hummus plate option since I put hummus on everything. First decision is fried onions or pita chips for a crunchy situation; obvious choice for pita chips. Then you pick a meat or falafel - those that know me well know I am always going falafel. Especially after making (unexpected) friends with so many stray chickens in the Cayman Islands. Then you get to bonus rounds like feta, sauces, and the carrots or eggplant. I got carrots and eggplant, thug life BABEY. Then it was selection of drink - I went with Bobby Boucher's favourite, the water. I was given a little tent card for my order number and handed a divine tahini chocolate chip cookie for later, just in case, and went to find a table. A table of finance bros in the usual attire had borrowed one of the chairs from a table at the back and that was the only available table (since everyone else had left it alone since it was missing a chair) so that became my table to snap some photos. Before too long the food was out and it was time to tuck in. The food is fresh and with high quality ingredients. I have two minor notes. The eggplant was way too unexpectedly spicy, that needs to be dialled back from el diablo to el barto (or el homo on Tuesdays & Thursdays). And the fry on the falafel was inconsistent and non-standard, one falafel was rock hard with a thick rock-like outcropping, the next was delightfully pillowy. This joint has not been open long and is still working out some opening kinks. The cukes, tahini sauce, feta, carrots, and hummus were out of this world good. The tahini chocolate chip cookie? Even better. I had the good fortune to visit the same time as Jando and we talked about how insanely good the cookie was. That was one of the most magickal parts of the experience at Brasserie, drop a little tahini in a chocolate chip cookie and bam! New insight into the universe unlocked in this cookie portal to flavour town, population you. Huge thanks to Jando, his team in Houston, and official Yelp for getting us in to try Brasserie on yelp's arm. I followed the rules and did not contribute to food waste, I ate what I got and I was happy with the portion size; they did allow you to order more, but that would have been wasteful for me. Many thanks to Brasserie for inviting us in and treating us tremendously well with this elite week to let us sample the preferred wares involving hummus, eggplant, and whatnot. Brassica has a new fan. I will be back as a paying customer to add a future review on their bidness page as a genuine paying normie. But for now, this was one of the best Yelp elite weeks in my nearly 20 years of being elite. If you got on the guest list and couldn't make it in on day one, hurry on down before the week is over or you will have the FOMO every time you gaze upon the visage of my tahini choc chip cookie. read more

I ordered the salad bowl with hummus and grilled chicken, and loaded it up with every topping except the eggplant since it has cilantro. The lightly sweet carrots were good, and I really liked the pickled cucumbers. My favorite side, though, was the grilled broccoli. The char taste amazing! The red pepper sauce was delicious too. It added great flavor and wasn't spicy. The fries were seasoned well and definitely worth ordering. I also appreciated that their fountain drinks are made with pure cane sugar. The overall vibe reminds me of CAVA, but with a smaller menu and a much more upscale feel. The restaurant was clean, the food was fresh, and everyone working there was incredibly friendly. I'm so excited we finally have brassica here!! I had this all through out college in Ohio, and it is just as good as I remember it being! Everything is super flavorful and there are plenty of sauce options. I opted for a salad bowl which comes with riced and the salad mixture. I got the brisket which was nice and tender. You can get hummus or baba- I personally like either but baba has a more Smokey flavor. Added all the extra toppings so pickled onion, cucumber & beets. The special sauce is also tasty! Brassica reminds me of CAVA just more elevated. With fresh, build-your-own bowls and really great cookies plus that nuggets ice that keeps you coming back. Overall everything is flavorful and easy to customize. The only downside for me is the brisket being mixed with lean and fat- I prefer extra lean only. Otherwise, it's a solid spot for a quick, satisfying meal. I love the chocolate chip cookie, I'll definitely return for a bowl, I enjoyed the chicken best with the cookie on the side. Such a yummy Yelp event! Really enjoyed checking out Brassica. It's similar to chipotle or Cava in the sense that you go down the line and select your rice/salad, choice of meat and various toppings. You can select either a pita or a hummus plate so I went with a hummus plate with chicken (halal) and added different toppings, including eggplant, cucumbers, and carrots. Also ordered a side of falafel and those were the stand out - super crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - would definitely order these again! The fries were also really seasoned and paired nicely with the different sauces. To end the meal, we got the tahini chocolate chip cookie which was yum! Delicious Elite Week because "We Love Eating Well!" Stopped in on a Wednesday and it was moderately busy. Parking is plentiful and there is indoor and outdoor seating. Think of chipotle but with varying flavors. Chose the Hummus plate where I was able to choose my add ons and no it was not extra for the "guac" Added crispy onions, brisket and chicken with a side of falafel for extra charge that I did not mind paying. Enjoyed every bite and didn't feel heavy nor groggy afterwards. And then there is the dessert, Tahini chocolate chip cookie, chewy, gooey and oh so delightful. Additional note, to avoid peanut allergens, they use EVOO and canola oil. They've thought of everything and everyone to help enjoy a meal. Wow. This place was amazing. It copies so many other restaurant styles and but does it so much better. The ambiance, lighting, and decor are just pleasant. Feels upscale and "homey" at the same time. Their pricing is really reasonable for what you get. They have a nice open kitchen concept and the food is made fresh. You can see the staff busting their asses to keep the machine moving. Everyone knows their role and is crushing it. It was interesting to watch as you wait in line to order. Mediterranean food is the way! Some of the healthiest options if you don't overdue the bread and sauces. The staff was super friendly and helpful when asking ordering questions. They didn't hesitate to get us to go boxes and we're happy to clean up our mess. Lots of seating options inside and out. I've recently fallen in love with Brassica! They had a promo for Earth Day back in April which was my first opportunity to try this new location in Houston, and seeing it posted as an Elite Week had me really excited. My partner and I came with Nick S. and Robert Z. on Tuesday night around 8pm and there was a very light crowd. We were able to walk right up to the assembly line. Everyone behind the counter was very friendly and had a smile on their face as they served us. The Elite Week deal came with your choice of salad, hummus plate, or sandwich with a choice of side (fries or falafel). They even threw in a cookie and a drink, a great opportunity to try their Minty Pink Lemonade. I opted for the salad with brisket as my protein. I added on all of the veggie choices and toppings to get diversity in my bowl and got a blend of their Special Sauce and Roasted Red Pepper Sauce drizzled on top. Everything was tasty. Brisket was moist and tender, and the sauces brought the dish together well. The salad bowl in itself was really filling and I barely had enough room to finish my side and cookie. For my side, I got the falafel, which was extra crispy and big. I tried my partner's side of fries which were also crunchy and seasoned really well. The cookie was a great way to finish off the meal. They sprinkle salt across the top of the cookie which gives it a nice contrast to the sweetness of the chocolate chips. The Minty Pink Lemonade was good as well - just the right amount of sweetness. Later on, around 8:30, we saw a line starting to build up, though the Brassica team kept things moving along efficiently. They are open until 10pm every day of the week, so a good, convenient option for most hours of the day! As an aside - we got back in line to get a dish to-go for the next day's lunch, fully expecting to pay for this round. To our surprise, the Brassica team gave us our (second) meals on the house, which was super generous. We gave them extra gratuity as a thank-you. Even more reason to continue supporting this business. Thanks to Jando and the Brassica team for making this Elite Week a great one, and for the excellent hospitality on a school night. Glad we could experience this with our good friends too. While Brassica is a bit out of the way for me, I'll definitely be keeping it on my radar whenever I'm in the area. read more

OMG! Run, don't walk... listen to me. I've heard about Brassica because of a friend but I'm such a Cava girl that I was hesitant about trying it. Yet I think I'm reformed. Upon walking in it has such a warm feel to it. This is what all fast casual establishments should look like honestly. Plus A+ for the real plants too. Listen, the flavors are FRESH y'all. It feels so homemade and literally MADE with love. I opted for the salad with brisket as my protein. I got ALL the sides and even the baba + hummus. Every bite tasted like perfection! The pita was soft and fluffy, the fries were seasoned to the Gods (whatever that side sauce was... I think special sauce, get that!), the lemonade had the right amount of mint, and the cookie was chefs kiss. I was hesitant about the cookie because usually me and vegan do not get along. Yet you could've fooled me! That sprinkle of salt on top was heavenly too. The only thing I'm sad about is they aren't on Uber Eats yet I guess that gives me an excuse to get out of the house. Top tier elite week event! Came in a Thursday evening which was pretty quiet. Friendly staff got us started with our choices and let us know we got a side, drink and cookie and pita in addition to whatever meal we chose. I think the sandwich and the salad are better value. Everything looked super fresh, the only topping I didn't get was the beets and I love a good beet . But everything was delicious. Love their special sauce which they served up with the fries and falafel which were both also tasty. I would definitely return here for some quick healthy-ish food. What a great way to switch it up for something healthy, colorful, flavorful and fun. I had never been or heard of this place before so I was very excited to give this event a try. Once we arrived, it wasn't hard to figure out how ordering was going to pan out. The staff were helpful and friendly. I went with the brisket pita sandwich. The brisket was very tender, smoky and flavorful. The pita was actually stuffed and very filling with the perfect amount of greens, meat, sauces and texture. The fries were super crispy and seasoned just right. The establishment was bigger than I thought and very clean. I like the decor and how the food was presented with the wooden trays and gold rings for the sandwiches. I really enjoyed coming to this place and I'll be looking forward to coming back. Loved my Mediterranean bowl! The staff were all super nice and helpful. They were enthusiastic about explaining what each of the toppings were. I ordered the hummus bowl with chicken and fries/falafel on the side. I didn't know initially that they had two kinds of bases -- hummus and baba. I did half and half so I could try both. Both were delicious! The chicken was cooked very well and was flavorful too. I loved that they also gave extra of each veggie topping if you ask for it. The veggies felt pretty premium, especially the carrots, beet root and eggplant. I feel like most places always charge extra for those, so it was nice that they were included here. came here on the very last day and I was pressed! It's like Cava but more seasoned lol! I love that the elite week deal came with a full meal so I was able to share my fries and cookie with a friend. And honestly I think the fries and cookie were my favorite part. I don't even like chocolate chip cookies but theirs was PERFECT. the salt really added something for me lol. But that's not to say the food wasn't delicious as well. It was juicy, well seasoned, and felt like someone's grandma was back there cooking! My only complaint is that the way items are placed into the sandwich make it very layered when you're eating. So I was eating a vegetable sandwhich until I got to the bottom and suddenly it was brisket lol. But moving forward I think I would just stick to their bowls instead to fix that. My goodness, I'm so stuffed I could blow up! Met up with my friends for some lunch on our day off, courtesy of Houston Yelp and the brassica team for the event, and left with no regrets! The menu itself is pretty easy to read without it being overwhelming. For your entree, you can get a sandwich (which is their pita bread sliced in the middle and stuffed), a hummus plate (literally a plate of hummus and the works), or a salad (a bowl with a layer of salad and the works). They have great choice of flavorful proteins and I went with the brisket because I love me some brisket, but the chicken here is tasty as well! I loved how all the ingredients were all roasted or marinated or spiced, which I loved because I'm not one afraid of flavor. They had a good selection of sauce as well, of which I went with the roasted pepper. David mentioned it's a bit like Chipotle except better and I had to agree with that. Wish they had a store near me further out west! They have some solid drinks as well and I thoroughly enjoyed my Minty Pink Lemonade. I also liked their Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookie and the sauce for their fries, although I suppose the fries could've been crispier. I might skip the fries next visit and think they could do better with some kind of spiced roasted potato dish, but honestly this is nitpicking as the entrees should and definitely were the stars here.
