An open space for watch parties for the upcoming soccer season, spread across 13 days. The Huge led screen will showcase all matches and there are different VIP tents for purchase- on the left is a 30 capacity tent, on the right a 75 person, and the biggest on the back with seating capacity of a 150. There is Vip seating under the shaded area. They have different packages ranging from $2700 to more. There will be vendor booths, on first come first serve basis so if you want to register reach out now. The hospitality was something very much appreciated - food kept flowing in and an open bar with special drinks. The weather fully supported this outdoor event. It was cloudy and breezy in the evening while the day was over 80F !, that made it a special pleasant evening. The live DJ made the place come alive. It was loud enough to enjoy but also pleasant enough to not be intrusive , we could still hear each other talk BTW- singe day tickets are free as long as there is capacity to fill. You can follow the news or gather more information about the event, tents, bulk tickets, corporate sponsorship offers, vendor tent options etc., at: Www. Houstonsoccerfest.com They have really put a lot of work to pull this event together, so soccer fans out there, utilize this special opportunity especially if you cannot get tickets at the stadium or for the matches that are out of Houston. Jessica, Alec, Criss these are the names I remember from the event organizers. Thank you to the organizers and Jando from Yelp for yet another interesting event.

What a fun pop up event! Got a late night email. 10:28 PM on Sunday night. Flash All Star Experience for the next day. Bites, beverages and a sneak peek for a World Cup-aligned experience. Bring a plus one. Count me in! After a crazy drive navigating rush hour traffic, we arrived at Buffalo Bayou Park. I LOVE this park. Definitely check out the art installations at The Cistern if you get a chance. Parked across the street and then climbed to stairs to check in. And yes, they did check our passes. Got a cute Houston Soccer Fest tote bag and then walked around. Since we were quite late, a bit hungry and very thirsty, we grabbed some bites and beverages. The cucumber mint infused water was so refreshing. Asked them to modify the World Tour Tonic to make it a mocktail. Elderflower, lemon juice, sample syrup, tonic with a splash of sprite or Topo Chico. Delicious. By the time we arrived, I think people were full. So nice to go to an event where the food was so delicious and the small remaining crowd did not swarm the servers. My two favorite passed hors d'oeuvres were the lamb chop lollipops with a chimichurri sauce and the tuna tartare wonton cones, but all of the food was delicious. The chicken tinga bite sized tacos were so cute and so tasty. My husband loved the steak bites. The crispy tofu was so different and so good. Even the watermelon and feta skewers were yummy! Food and drinks were plentiful. When we left after 7, they had just stopped passing out these tasty bite sized treats. The weather was perfect. Nice to have a drink, enjoy a beautiful view of downtown Houston, and get more appetizers. Sometimes you need to just breathe in the quiet before the city transforms into the chaos and energy that goes with hosting a worldwide event. Houston Soccer Fest. So interesting to hear about 13 days of World Cup aligned events planned for the Houston-aligned soccer fest. It looks like one amazing party!! Thank you to Jessica Kelly for explaining the event to us. It sounds like it will be one spicy event! Thanks also to the great staff at the Westgate Hospitality Group. The bites and beverages were served with a huge helping of southern hospitality. Thank you also to Houston's CM Jandito! (Four events in 2 days. You are certainly goal oriented!)

All-star elite flash event took us to Soccer Fest preview at Buffalo Bayou Park. When Yelp calls, you follow! Located at the Water Works pavilion within the park, the picturesque Houston skyline made the perfect backdrop to get a preview of the events yet to come for the World Cup soccer festivities. While I'm thrilled to have our hometown as a host city for this epic world class tournament, I will admit that I am not abreast of all the planned local events. This was a great opportunity to learn about the watch parties, corporate sponsor events, and special VIP areas available for locals and guests alike. To complement the upbeat environment complete with a lively DJ and the electric conversations of community business partners, were some tasty cocktails and a number of different finger foods. While the lamb chops looked lux, I was thrilled to see some glazed tofu bites for a nice early evening nibble. Thanks, Jando and Yelp Houston, for getting the Yelp community involved with this special event!

Had the chance to attend the All-Star Elite Experience: Houston Soccer Fest, and it was a well-executed event. This was a private activation hosted by the Soccer Fest team to give us a preview of what's planned for the 13-day festival during the World Cup. I'm glad I was included, even though I received the invite the same day (right after getting my All-Star notification the day before). The event ran from 4-7 PM, and everything was communicated clearly ahead of time via email, which made arrival easy. I got there around 5:30, checked in with the ladies at the front, and walked right in. The setup was thoughtfully curated with a DJ, great food, everything from lamb chops to tofu and two signature drinks, both of which were made as mocktails for me. As we moved around the space, we had the opportunity to connect with Alex from the team, who gave us a solid overview of what to expect during the World Cup festivities. It definitely built excitement for what's to come. The city is going to be alive in whole different way so this was a nice sneak peak. Overall, it was a great experience. It was well organized, the staff was welcoming, and informative, and the art pieces topped it al. As a football fan, I'm already looking forward to June. Go Man U & Chelsea!

This was a joint with Yelp, Duran Concepts & other groups. The event was to encourage sponsors to reserve booths and educate and inform invigorate sellers to prepare for the biggest sporting event ever to be in Houston. They didn't go into detail stating the obvious, that soccer is the most popular sport on the globe! Almost forgot, I tried the Passion Fruit margarita and it was awesome! This was a nice event. GN3

A flash event that was truly worth the last minute change in our plans for! We read "tomorrow" and didn't notice the email was sent the day before... Oops! But, totally worth coming out for! The parking lot was quite full, and we parked a bit further away in Lot H for $10 and walked over. Ran into Jando on the way over :) The terrace was well decorated with standing tables, a DJ, a corner cocktail bar, and a cocktail bar on the other corner. Catering was by Cafe Natalie and they chose a phenomenal menu. The lamb lollipops were juicy and tender, the chicken tinga tacos were delicious little bites, and the tuna tartare wonton cones were bursts of flavor. The tofu and steak frites felt a bit dry but I certainty was not complaining - both still delicious! We got an overview of their goal for the Houston Soccer Fest, and I met some great local business owners of soccer themed places (local courts, merch, and even a coffee shop hosting World Cup games). Shout-out to Juan from Toros for his friendliness. Huge thanks to Chris for extending us the invite, and to Jando for putting together an awesome All-Star event to really celebrate Houston. I hope everyone coming to town for the World Cup will have as fantastic of an experience.

Paul P.

Omg, I've never been to a flash event and I'm so glad I opened my email this morning. I'm here RIGHT NOW and the music is poppin', the people are all so awesome, and the food is great! Did I mention that the drinks are strong af? I'm excited for Houston Soccer Fest coming in June since we're one of the World Cup cities, this summer is going to be insane! People here were also friendly and engaging, and many people had work related to soccer. Seems Soccer Fest is also looking actively for partners and they have a new Instagram account. The food was also delicious here! We had cheese and tomato bites, lamp chips, little pieces of steak wrapped around potato, little tuna cones, crispy tofu, and mini tacos. Also enjoyed the cucumber water or lemonade or whatever that was they had! They even gave out little tote bags at the end. I'll say that this was definitely a successful reception!

Houston heartbeat captured!

What a fun event! Despite the cold rainy weather, there was a great turn out of Elites dressed in…read moretheir best pink outfits. I was happy to finally wear a dress that I've had for over a year. When I first arrived, it was a bit hard to get a drink at the bar, but once we were split into groups, it was better. I enjoyed The Kelly; it was cucumber forward and very refreshing. I also tried the Mezcal cocktail (Ladies in Pink). It wasn't bad, but I'm not a huge Mezcal gal. I wanted to try something different since I tend to go for the same types of drinks. The decor was beautiful and definitely the biggest draw to Postscript. GM, Timothy said the main demographic is women, and it is apparent on their socials as well as their Yelp page. I thought the portraits of Princess Diana and Princess Grace of Monaco breaking through the frames were really cool. I meant to ask Timothy if The Kelly cocktail is named after Grace Kelly, but I didn't get a chance to. The photo ops all around the restaurant were a nice touch. I was in the second group and I ended up towards the back of the line. A few of us had to wait on plates as they kept running out. I didn't get an opportunity to take photos of the food before everyone filled their plates. The biggest thing that I have to mention is the fact that people were taking extra servings of food, despite Timothy asking people to only take one serving. There's always going to be vultures at events, but it's not a good look and frankly it's disrespectful. I did not get to try the Chicken and Hummus and initially the Truffle Flatbread (more on that in a second). I passed on the shrimp since I don't eat shellfish. The food was good, but it wasn't the highlight. I did enjoy the "Deviled Egg" High Tea bite. The Vegan Sandwich was a bit heavy on dill. The slider was good but the ratio of bun to meat was a bit off. At any rate, I'm always grateful for the light bites. Timothy made the rounds to each table and took the time to hear our feedback. When he asked us how we liked the food, we explained that most of us at the table didn't get to try the Truffle Flatbread. Timothy went to the kitchen and asked the chef to make one for our table. We really appreciated that! Timothy also gave us so much background on the restaurant from the pink quartz bar, to the tilted mirrors in the "speakeasy" (private room), the fine china in the bar area, and the champagne booth buttons. He really has gone above and beyond to create a beautiful atmosphere. He has regular customers and said that ladies come for all sorts of occasions like birthdays, bachelorette parties, and even divorce parties! I would love to come back for high tea with my girlfriends. A huge thank you has to go out to GM, Timothy for going above and beyond for us! And of course thank you Jando, Yelp HTX, and the Postscript staff for graciously hosting us!

Something not on the menu but you should know is that the place offers exclusive High Tea experience on Thursday and Friday from 11 to 4. Perfect setting. From outside the place looks deceptively small, when u enter, a whole arena opens up. There is a huge bar, with lots of seating all around. Then there is the dining hall, and a little private setting as well. Tim also mentioned that he has hosted a wedding party , I can definitely see it. It can't get more romantic than this..... The bar tenders were the busiest. They needed more of them for a crowd like ours. But a very agile and helpful crew was in and out of kitchens filling, refilling and clearing up as well. Very efficient. I was glad they had atleast 1 vegan dish which I got to binge on. The food was very conveniently placed on plenty different tables so people could move freely around. Menu was hand picked and bite sized so it was easy to eat. It was presented pretty well. Thank you Yelp and Postscript. It was a fun evening.

Because of the set up of the long table, it wasn't easy for some folks to get up to get food. We kind of took a divide and conquer approach. Some of us grabbed drinks, some went to the buffet, and others made sure that everyone received passed hor d'oeuvres. Teamwork makes the dreamwork! The dishes that were offered were very creative and unique. I tried quite a few samplings. The Roti was delicious. The Summer Salad (watermelon with the crispy onion) was different, but good. Yay to Yelp elite weeks YEE…read more I was initially was on a waitlist but then cleared. Who doesn't enjoy a pizza especially if u just moved from the Tri state area. I ordered the margherita pizza. It was delicious. It was rich with tomatoes, cheese n basil and had a robust flavor. The restaurant itself was very spacious from inside. The manager was the one taking orders at the counter. My son lived with me who also ordered a pizza and some garlic nuts, for which I will leave a separate review for the restaurant. Thanks to crust pizza management, Yelp and Jando for organizing this awesome event.

I wasn't familiar with Crust Pizza Co. before this opportunity. I met up with Annalisa P. and Helene S. who was celebrating her birthday! While we were there, we ran into Mel S. and her fiancé! The restaurant wasn't very busy (probably because of the stormy weather). I walked up to the ordering counter and stood there for a minute before an employee came to take my order. The young lady who took my order was nice and helpful with suggestions. All of the staff members that I interacted with were very friendly! It was great to have the option to do the build your own pizza. I was tempted, but decided to order the Wyatt BBQ Chicken and it was delicious! I loved the BBQ sauce and cilantro. The personal size was plenty and I had some slices for lunch the following day. For my fountain drink I went with iced tea (1/2 sweet, 1/2 unsweet). The tea was good and was not bitter which was a relief. I also ordered a Spiked Arnold Palmer which had Deep Eddy Sweet Tea with lemonade. It was really good!! The restaurant is quite large. The booths are big enough for 6-8 people. They also had some high top tables in the bar area. There were plenty of large screen TVs in the bar and main dining area. It's definitely a place where you could eat and hang out if you wanted to watch a game. The large parking lot is an added bonus! I can't wait to come back to try some of the other pizza options. Thank you Jando, Yelp HTX, and Crust Pizza Co. - Heights for this awesome Elite Week!

Sometimes, you just need to celebrate PHOBruary…read more What a great, intimate last-minute event. Really savored the signature beef pho at one of Stetsi Food Hall's newest offerings, HÚP Noodle Bar. The beef broth was so homey and soothing. Generously filled with noodles, beef meatballs and thinly sliced ribeye flank, it was perfect for a chilly PHOBruary night in Houston. Love how the name "HUP," means "slurp" in Vietnamese. This really reflects the dining experience as you enjoy your generous bowl of pho. The broth is simmered overnight which really infuses the warmth into the flavor. Add some bean sprouts, fresh basil and a squeeze of lime. Perfection!! Thank you to Chef Cuong and the incredible staff at HUP Noodle Bar for a delicious treat. Love the pho, our assigned tables and the cute Yelp chopsticks. I will be back. And, as always, thank you to our amazing Houston CM Jandito. Not sure how you do it, but you keep highlighting such unique spots in our beautiful hometown. Amazing!

Yummy pho on a cold winter night? No Brainer!…read more Thanks Jando, the Yelp team, and Chef/owner Cuong. I appreciate my party pass, always! What a wonderful intimate event. I love asigned seated events. It helps you get out your usual comfort zone and meet new Yelpers. But it was even more cutesy because my buddy Justin was by my side, and the other folks I know were at near by tables. I thought it was so cool, they had chefs counter and 6 person table seating. Jando and Chef did a great job of sharing a bit of history and background. I was surprised to learn it takes as much as 28 hours to perfect this beef pho. It makes sense because the broth runs deep with flavor. Food- was yum! Starting with the starter the Shrimp Chai Go (sp) and the Banh Kat. Both were such a great way to start, super hot and tasty! The beef Pho, wow a huge portion, I was not expecting. Loved my take away the following night. And decided to deservingly tip this business generouly for there time and effort. This felt like the perfect comfy cozy event. When at Stesi food hall, will definitely check this out. Thank you always Yelp!

Loved it overall At to the show: WWE Unreal, releasing on Netflix on Jul 29- there is fight, drama, emotions , and high stakes involved. It will be released in episodes until the WWE Megaevent. The first episode set the stage for a season that follows the road to WrestleMania, spotlighting some of today's biggest wrestling stars and marking the return of John Cena for what appears to be his retirement run. The biggest jab is the hint he might turn heel!!! Whether you're a long-time fan or someone who hasn't watched WWE in years, this show has the kind of drama and behind-the-scenes access that pulls you back in. I've always wanted to visit the River Oaks Theatre. It's a classic cinema I've long associated with big indie flicks, cinema festivals, blockbuster screenings, foreign films, and of course, cult classics like The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Somehow, I had never made it until now. I'm glad this prescreening finally got me there. The theater has been freshly renovated with wide lounger seats(that I can't tell if the recline or not..) and the team really takes good care of you. You walk right in past a sleek bar, perfect for grabbing a cocktail before the show. Once you're at your seat, you can order food or drinks with the push of a button. I'd definitely put this place high on the list of elevated movie experiences in Houston. It left me curious and entertained. WWE Unreal might just be the spark that reignites my love for wrestling.
