Problem is some of the people they introduce you could even be rated at the ultimate 6 star experience...and then there is the 'others' that a no star is too high. I was bribed by the eLiveLife company to post a YELP review and IF it was positive I got a FREE ticket to a business expo (value $299) that looked interesting. What I am willing to share is as follows: I am positive that some of the vendors are fantastic and I am also positive that others do not return calls, flat out refused to honor the certificates as well as be nasty about it. I only had 2 good experiences and the other four were wasted as the vendors NEVER honored them or returned calls...I did not receive a refund or an offer to replace the useless vouchers by eLiveLife...so you decide...I just can't bring myself to lie just for a free ticket. read more

Elivelife lets you try new salons and service providers at a huge discount. I had a package of 6, most of which I used as gifts, and it was so nice to be able to go to the website and instantly pick out and download the certificates. It was fun to be able to give a nice gift and know that the person was going to be able to enjoy a high quality service that I didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars. I gave my mom 2 acupuncture certificates, which she had never tried before, and she loved it. It was good that she was able to try 2 different places to find one she liked. I recently had a Raindrop treatment with Mallory Vale. It was excellent. I was able to use a voucher a friend gave me for my birthday. I had to wait for a long time due to several life events that prevented me from using it right away. Generally/basically, elivelife.com coupons are a scam/ripoff. I would recommend strongly that you do not purchase them for any reason. Providors are few and far between - nothing like the book they show you when purchasing, there are additional, undisclossed, charges you will encounter from the service provider, when you call for help you are told things that you later find out are not true, and the whole registering and using your coupon online experience is very poor. The old saying, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is, applies here. In summary, the coupons are worthless and this business is bad. read more

I purchased a package of 6 "credits" on January 28, 2012 for $100. I tried redeeming credits a few times, but could never seem to get an appointment (I called a few places for a massage, but they never had any appointments available at times that would work). Just logged in to see my credits and see if I could schedule an appointment for a massage with someone, and I see that my credits are gone. Less than 3 months?? I notice that the website FAQs say "most" expire in 3-6 months. I was pretty disappointed that ours expired after less than 3 months. It might seem like a great "deal" but when none of the providers we were interested in could seem to fit me in when I mentioned we had an eLiveLife certificate, it seemed like a waste or a scam. read more

Received a gift card from a friend for one complimentary service up to a $200 value. I selected a "$100" hour long massage and the website told me the business would contact me. After a week I contacted the business. After a few rounds of phone tag/therapist answering but not having her appointment book with her, I booked an appointment. Massage went well but when it was finished she told me I owed her $20. I told her I thought the cost was covered by my gift card and she responded by saying "If you used eLiveLIfe, I only charge you $20.". This was after I handed her a $15 cash tip. So I paid $35 for an okay massage - similar to a deal you'd see on groupon, however I shouldn't have paid anything as IT WAS A GIFT. I blame myself for paying her, but at the time, I thought I had misunderstood the limits of my gift card. Boo. read more
