I searched online and narrowed my criteria to a price, mileage, one owner, no accidents, within 25 miles of me. I knew from experience the market supply was scarce, the car prices were high, and odds of finding one locally depended on looking online vs. the old days of going from dealership to dealership. Voila! I found one checking off every box at this dealership and bonus points for being within 5 miles of me and a certified condition vehicle. I immediately drove there to check its availability. As I parked, Rob was there to greet me and I asked if he could help. And help, he did! We took my soon-to-be-mine Chevy Spark for a test drive. The dealership had performed all the mechanical checks, they washed it, and it met all my criteria. The buying process was easy, the team was friendly and professional, and the car is mine. They have a service department which I plan to use.

I went in to get my parking brake fixed in my 2019 Chevy Equinox and was initially quoted $1,450 if I ONLY needed the module and $2,152 MAXIMUM if I needed calipers too. I had to pay $218 for a "diagnostics fee" on top of that even after VERY hesitantly agreeing to get the work done after much convincing for their supervisor that they could be trusted, I even signed the quote. I bring the car back on Monday and it takes them a WEEK to finish repairs after telling me it would only be a day, two at MOST. I go to pick up my car, and am told that it will ACTUALLY be $3,069 for the repairs but since they already finished the work, there was nothing I could do about it. They SO graciously refunded me for the diagnostic fee so my NEW total is $2,851 (after being quoted MAX $2,152). BUT DONT WORRY, they work with a third-party loan company, Sunbit, that can help with financing. I was told that my best option is the 9 month repayment plan, and ASSURED that it will be interest free. I had to pay a $582 down payment and left. I take my car home, and not even 2 days later, I'm having issues with my fan still running well after turning the engine off. I had to return MULTIPLE times for this reason because they "kept repairing parts but the issue would return not long after". After paying for multiple useless repairs for that issue, I decided to take it to a DIFFERENT shop and they fixed my thermostat for $1,200. My tire pressure sensor light has ALSO been on since their "repairs" so it no longer registers the PSI of my tires. To make matters somehow WORSE, I come to find out 6 months later after calling Sunbit, that the loan was NOT interest free and they had lied. Sunbit filed a formal complaint against this location because of this. I was charged an extra $232 in interest over the course of the 9 month repayment plan. So I call Riverview to get this resolved. I speak with a supervisor named Mike who tells me basically tough s*** and they will NOT be doing anything about it. They stole THOUSANDS right out of my pocket. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES. I WOULD GIVE THEM NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD. NEVER COME TO THIS LOCATION, GO TO THE RIVERVIEW IN NORTH HUNTINGTON INSTEAD THEY ARE AMAZING! BRYAN, MIKE, JAKE CHRIS AND EVERYONE ELSE AT THIS LOCATION, YOU SHOULD NEVER BE TRUSTED WITH ANYONES VEHICLE.

I originally gave this place a five-star review when I first bought my vehicle, but now I'm…read morechanging it to one star. Joseph was very nice when I bought the car, but I had no idea what would happen next. Two days after buying it, my check engine light came on. I thought it might be a fluke or something small they missed, so I took it back. They said they couldn't find anything wrong and sent me on my way. About a week later the light came back on. I took it back again, and again they couldn't find anything. The light came on a third time after I picked it up. They still couldn't find anything, so they put a cleaner in the catalytic converter because that was the only thing that popped up, even though there was nothing wrong with it. After it came on a fourth time, I went to my local mechanic and they accepted my warranty. They diagnosed the car and found the real problem: the exhaust manifold. I had noticed the car getting very loud when I started it, which made me suspicious. Even after the warranty claim, I had to pay over $400 to fix the vehicle. I thought things were okay after that, so I let it go. Later I tried to connect my Bluetooth and it wouldn't work. It wasn't a huge issue, but Bluetooth was one of the reasons we bought the vehicle. Nobody could fix it under my warranty, and the exact bill to get it fixed was $1,200. Again, Bluetooth isn't essential, but it's frustrating. Then my first oil change happened and I drove to West Virginia to visit family. On the way home the car started making weird noises. It was late, so I thought I was tired or that other cars were making noise, but the next day the check engine light came on again. I checked the gas cap and the oil -- the oil was fine -- and the car started running rough. It was jolting and felt like it might break down. I heard a clicking noise, didn't drive it, and brought it to my mechanic. They told me the engine needed to be replaced. How does an engine need replacing after I've only owned the vehicle for about three months? If the dealership inspected the car like they should have, the engine shouldn't have failed that quickly. My warranty only covered about $2,000 of the more-than-$5,000 job. Luckily the owner helped pay so I didn't have to pay the whole bill. But my check engine light has come on three or four times since then. I'm a teenager, a full-time student, and I work, so most of my money goes to school. I take care of my vehicle and keep it clean, and there has been over $7,000 put into it in under a year. Most of that was for the engine and was covered by the dealership and warranty, but I've owned the car for less than a year. I knew it was a used vehicle and I didn't know what would happen, but I never expected this. I should only have to do normal maintenance on a car, not replace the engine. The fact that my check engine light has been on so many times in under a year is ridiculous. I will never buy another vehicle from this place and I will never recommend them to anyone. You'd be better off buying a Honda with 300,000 miles than buying a car from them. I hope no one else has to go through what I did. I've driven my aunt's leased car more than my own this year -- how does that make sense? Please read this all the way through and don't fall into a trap of financial trouble like I did.

Took it for a test drive, everything turned out smooth and proceeded with the purchase. They told me that the service desk would call me within a week for the windshield. 1-2 Weeks go past no call from the service desk. I call no answer multiple times. About 2-3 weeks after i had purchased the vehicle the siding started to come off. Took it to my uncle who is a mechanic and said they just glued it on. All the clips were missing so they just glued it to the door. This past week I had went on vacation. Drove to South Carolina for 6 days and then Virginia for 2 days. As I got to Virginia it had started to downpour. As i was getting off the highway I heard a noise that wasn't occurring at all until then. I thought it the suitcases in the back of my car until my boyfriend told me to pull over. I pulled over and my bumper is dragging on the road hanging by a thread. Glue all over the inside of it. Again, instead of replacing the part they just slapped on some glue and called it a day. This is my first time ever purchasing a car. The most terrible experience and service I have ever received. A former employee told me that they had repainted the car on the passenger side and the back of it after i had bought the car. I looked on Carfax to see if the car had been in an accident but nothing showed nor did the dealership tell me. All they told me was that the vehicle was in perfect condition. Do not waste your money to this company. They are just a bunch of crooks and liars who do it all for the money!
