I just bought my first Porsche which was delivered from another state and had to have it checked out and have a few things done. They have had to work on it twice now, and I have to say my service experience has been nothing less than perfect. First of all, the Service Manager Leo Rodgers is so kind, so helpful, so knowledgeable, so accommodating, and never pushy. If he doesn't know the answer, he researches it and gets right back to you, and he will bend over backwards to make sure you are completely happy. And it doesn't matter how long they take because they leave you with a brand new loner vehicle. And the drivers, Tony and Harry (the third guy's name I didn't get) are very professional, and always very nice and helpful. Prior to this we've had Cadillacs, and was worried the service experience might not measure up, but Porsche service is equally superb and parallel to Cadillac. read more

CPO(NOT)--Purchased a CPO Macan S, come to find out the dealership documented items that were not completed and or accurate. An authorized Porsche repair shop said it would cost me an additional $9k+ to get the vehicle up to CPO standards. Also, might want to double check the seatbacks as well, I received my CPO unit with trash in both of the seat backs not to mention the cabin filter had massive debris and clearly wasn't serviced. read more

I don't know what it is about the dealerships in Sewickley. They seem to all lack any customer service skills what so ever. I stopped by Sewickley Porsche on a slow Saturday afternoon to check out their pre owned inventory as I was considering trading in my Cayenne S for a newer Cayenne Turbo. I had wanted to trade up two to three years newer as those years had a slight exterior refreshing and bigger engines with more horsepower. I parked my Cayenne then walked the new/ pre owned lot for about 10 minutes or so and didn't see what I was looking for so I went inside. As I walked in there were at least three salesmen just sitting around. One was closing a deal and one was working with a couple. I walked all through the dealership being completely ignored. Not one salesmen said a word to me. I got more of a conversation from a guy waiting to finishing up his paper work to buy a new 911. He asked me to sit in it and tell him what I thought of it. One good thing is that they were fully stocked with brochures and magazines so I grabbed a few and made my way to the exit. Just as I was about to hit the door the guy buying the 911 asked the salesmen sitting around "Are you guys going to see if my friend needs any help or what?!" Embarrassed a salesmen finally asks me if I needed any help. I told him what I was looking for and his response was "Oh we don't sale anything used unless it is a certified pre owned Porsche." Meaning current model year vehicles and those of eight previous model years with less than 100,000 miles. Which I didn't get because I was looking for a 2008 or 2009 Cayenne Turbo. I even talked to a guy during a recent trip to Cleveland who had bought a 2008 Cayenne Turbo from Sewickley Porsche that has had nothing but trouble with it and guess what?! It was a certified pre owned Cayenne Turbo! Every single person that I have ever talked to that had been to either the Sewickley Audi or BMW dealerships have all said the same thing. That their customer service was crappy and just plain sucks! And that they just couldn't be bothered with selling you a car. I won't be back unless I want to pick up some more new model brochures. I'll stick to Auto Palace Porsche and Porsche of Beachwood. Sewickley Porsche could learn a lot about how to treat potential customers from both dealerships! read more

Put in a complaint from my last visit and received a call from Larry (Mr. Manager). He apologized and wanted to assure me that they would take care of me on my next visit. So, I took them up on that offer because my poor old Audi doesn't like starting in the cold (not the battery). Basically if the temp is around 15 or below the car calls in sick, which in Pittsburgh during winter is not a good thing! Anyways I explained the situation in detail with Larry and brought my car by that night so they can see it would start in the morning since it would be cold. Of course like any good car when they are in the shop they don;t do what they do at home, but after discussing my story with the mechanics they felt it was the ignition. So far there have not been any really cold mornings, but I think it's fixed .... Thank you Larry for listening to your customer complaints and taking the time to set things right. read more

Not satisfied at all. I gave them multiple opportunities to make it right and they fell short. I didn't want to burn a bridge but after thinking about it long and hard, I really don't care. For the amount of money I spent I shouldn't have had any problems with my 928 especially since I haven't even put 100 miles on it since picking up. I am totally embarrassed for spending what I did and getting back what I did in return. I shopped here and ended up purchasing a new car here. Overall, I had a very good experience. The key part: service was great. The sales people (I dealt with one while shopping six months before purchase, and a different one upon purchase) were helpful, answered my questions, and never tried to sell me anything I did not want. My negotiation process was very straightforward, and even the whole signing of paperwork was painless (i.e., zero hard-selling of wheel insurance, paint sealant, etc. - thank you!). I ended up ordering a car to my spec. The process was easy, the sales person called me with updates while I awaited build and delivery, and the car that arrived was exactly what I ordered. The facility is just okay. It's pretty standard inside, but the parking lot is very small, and I found it hard to just find an open parking place to shop there. They have lots of shiny new Audis and Porsches parked everywhere, so it's tricky to even navigate the lot. They have a satellite lot down the road, but it's gravel, with big mud-puddles. The first salesperson had to ferry me up there to try a car, and it's a bit of a pain. But overall, I had a great experience and would shop there again. read more

i had a misfire and all they did was switch the spark plugs around, I didn't know enough to argue this was the dumbest thing you can do. Car was Even under warranty. Proceeded to have more issues, ran out of warranty and ended up dropping $3000 to fix. Will never come back, those 50K, 85K check ups are also a waste of money, they never found anything with 2 cars. Negative experience with Porsche service through the Sewickley Auto Group. Issues started almost immediately following purchase. Service staff made accusations I took my car for outside repair or was a victim of a crime when actually wrong weights were used/became loose following their tire service. Issues continued due to lack of proper communication and responsiveness to my concerns. Management reassigned me to a different service person, but then back following a series of staff changes. Service department made differing claims about work completed and service needed. They did not properly record an engine error light that was likely the issue I was experiencing. Over three years the car was in the service department for over 100 days. The service team would not call when requested to even talk through their thought process. They cited the main Porsche company as limiting service responses and after two total failures and month with Porsche customer service, I no longer question that to be true. It went so far as for the SAG contact to suggest a trade-in would be easier than getting my concerns addressed. Porsche Main customer service experience equally abysmal to customer service at SAG. Many more instances of communication errors, blame, and failure to provide adequate service. I am now moving to another dealership. Strongly advise against this company. Had my issue been addressed, it would have saved me years of headache and I would have been a SAG Porsche lifer )I did have a great sales experience, but no so great as to further support SAG). With my experience with Porsche main, I know question ever owning another Porsche - but honestly, where do you go from there. If they got service right and listened to customers my experience would have been untouchable. When properly serviced, the car drives amazing! read more

I had been taking my cars for service there since 2001 and my recent experience with a power steering issue tells me that I might have been wise to go elsewhere sooner. Long story short, the service department misdiagnosed the extent of a power steering issue, almost causing me to sell the car or invest nearly $5,000 in replacing the pump, rack and associated hose system. I looked for a second opinion at another shop of course, as the diagnosis seemed a bit "extreme" to me. It was. $650 was spent at another shop in replacing the power steering pump and the car was back on the road in a day. That was several months ago by the way with no issues whatsoever. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, I was asked "what can we do to keep you as a long term customer?" My response was to apologize and return my $100 diagnostic fee...never happened. read more

BEWARE! These guys are crooked from the sales team all they way through to the service department. I bought a 2008 Cayenne Turbo July 2013 that wasnt CPO'd and my salesman Scott said, "ill take care of it" and somehow got it CPO'd in a couple hours. I thought because it was a great suv, but realized they DIDN'T DO ANYTHING except fudge the paperwork. My Cayenne never went more than 6 weeks without breaking down. In the 18 months i owned it, over FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS worth of warranty repairs had to be made. Over $4,000 of which after i owned it only 10 DAYS! The Cayenne became so bad, neither of the 2 Cleveland dealers would work on it any more. I was banned! Sewickley Porsche had to pick up and drop off my vehicle from over 2 hours away. Although Duane in service was very accommodating to me, these crooks CPO'd a car that NEVER should have been and i was the one that was screwed in the process. Ive traded in the Cayenne after 18 months and lost about $6,000 to $8,000 because of it. Let this be a lesson to you. read more

I was in the market to lease a 2016 A6 3.0T. I checked with other dealers in the Pittsburgh area and wasn't happy with them. So I tried this one. I called to get a price comparison and Paul helped me immediately. I was pleased with the quick response on the phone followed by the emails he sent me with the vehicles available from the dealership that met my requirements. I visited him the next day and test drove two cars. I was please and committed to buy the following day. Paul made sure to get all the ducks in a row so when I came the following day everything could be smooth. True to his word, Paul made sure to prepare everything by the time I got there, even though I got there early. The sales Manager Jason was very friendly and offered to help in any way he could (offering next steps to protect the car from 3rd party specialists). I ended up buying the car and Paul drove me to the bank to get a check. Then Paul took care of my 4 year old son outside of the bank while I got when I I needed to do. Last year (2012) I SPECIAL ORDERED a 2012 Audi TT. It arrived in July, 2012. Since that time, I only put 3000 miles on my car. On 9/27/13, while returning from the grocery store, I was at a stop light. When the light turned green, I tried to accelerate but the entire transmission was just GONE. I was stranded in an extremely dangerous intersection unable to move. The TT was ultimately towed to Sewickley Audi on 9/28/13. I was given an ATROCIOUS looking Audi A4 as a "loaner." On 9/30/13, having heard NOTHING from the dealer, I called to follow-up. I was informed that they are "too busy" to even "look" at my car today and they couldn't even tell me when it would be looked at this week!!!!! I certainly am not expecting an immediate fix, but I would expect an evaluation to be performed so that a repair time frame could be estimated. This dealership has disappointed me beyond belief. Just because they have provided an inferior, HIDEOUS looking loaner, I guess I am supposed to wait endlessly to even hear what is wrong with me car. If you are considering an AUDI - DON'T and certainly DON'T go to Sewickley Audi. read more
