I absolutely love this park and have been coming here since childhood. They have a swimming pool that has he some nice upgrades. Plenty of fun for everyone there! Huge water slide for bigger kids/adults and a smaller one for smaller kids. Outside volleyball, soccer, bmx trail, 2 separated playgrounds (one for bigger kids and one for smaller). They also used to have a rock climbing wall (unsure if it's still there). This makes for one of the best parks in Austin in my opinion. read more

Husband and I love this park. It has nearly everything you need. Community garden, pool, walking trail, playground, picnic area, baseball field, pavilion, volleyball field, dirtbike, track, etc.... We come here often for evening walks, or to play with our dog, or picnics, or to set up a hammock in the trees. People are usually pretty good about keeping their dogs on the leash, but every now and then you'll see somebody who doesn't have their dog leashed. They also host community events every so often (music, movies, fireworks, etc). read more

This park has a lot to offer, including a BMX track that my little one loves! We spent a good while playing soccer on the fields. There's a playground, a pool, and probably a lot more than I have yet to discover. I can see myself coming back here quite a few times. read more

Great big park with lots of space and a huge pool. Went here for the Fourth of July celebration and there were vendors and rides to go on. Pool costs are $3 for adults, young kids are $1, and I believe 2 and under are free. read more

We've recently started visiting the park again - it was a huge favorite when the kiddos were little, but now that they are 10 and 12 they aren't really into the playgrounds any more (sadly). However, as a family we have gotten into Pokemon Go - and not only is this park a great place for the game, the gamers are all really friendly as well. We now walk on a regular basis up here on the excellent walking paths and meeting new friends. With the Dominos Pizza AND the Shake's Frozen Custard in the shopping plaza directly adjoining Milburn, we have done our best to combat the healthy effects of walking by picking up treats and bringing them over to the picnic area. read more

Very nice park with lots to offer kids--huge open fields, swimming pool, great for big events like Fourth of July and Labor Day festivals (secret tip--the Labor Day fireworks are actually MUCH better than the Fourth of July ones!) THE GOOD: Large park with great amenities and loads of fun for the family. Awesome pool with water features and great slides for small kids and big kids. Separate swim areas for small children and bigger kids/adults. Large shade structures provide lots of shade around the pool area. Huge plus. Large open fields for sports. Covered pavilion, picnic tables, and BBQ pits. Great and unique playscapes for the kiddos. Movies In The Park in the Spring and Fall when the weather is pleasant! Ample parking. Affordable. The park is free. The pool is like $3 for adults and $1 for kids over 3. THE BAD: The pool hours are 1 PM to 8 PM in the summer. WTH? Why 1 PM? Why not 10 AM to open? 1 PM seems a little late to open a pool in my opinion. THE UGLY: The toilets are like prison toilets only less well maintained. Not that I am expecting much from a park toilet. It could be worse I suppose. OVERALL: Elizabeth Milburn is a great park that offers something for residents of all ages. That's what a great park should do. If they adjust the funky hours for the pool and get the toilets slightly cleaner this review shoots to five stars. read more

Wow!! They really went all out here. We haven't been in about a year and the place has been remodeled on a grand scale. This is the ultimate park for adventurers and climbers. What a great surprise. Both a small and large playscape, rock climbing walls, trails, picnic tables, volleyball, BBQs, spinning things, jumping things and swings. Best part? Lots of shade over the little playscape. Not so much over the larger one. Love the small playscape. Didn't feel like I had to hover so much since it was designed age appropriately. They even have a bridge that doesn't jostle the littles or bounce them off through the sides. We had the place to ourselves until 10am before the Meetup mom groups, exercisers and other kids showed up. Also has restrooms! read more

So far (I know there are others to still try) the best pool we have gone to this summer. I've been sitting in this weird place where each of the pools we went to had their good qualities and their bad. The 4 of us were unable to agree on the one pool we all thought was best......until now. I decided, since it was the last weekend before school, that I wanted to "shower" the kids with fun for the weekend. Since the other pools were not fully "doing it" for us.. we came here with higher hopes! We arrived about 15-20 minutes after it opened (which is 1pm...WEIRD, but OK). Need some shade? Well, you dont have to look for it here. The amount of shade is unbelievable. Thank you so much! I mean honestly, to get out of the sun is something to appreciate. There were plenty of places to sit, lounge, relax... in the shade or the sun. It was great. The shade alone is definitely a big feature that sets them aside from the others. but that's not all.. .. The life jackets they offer..my little ones do not have them (I know, I should get some) anyhow.. I appreciated so much walking in and seeing a multitude of jackets of ALL sizes, even adult for hubs. THANK YOU.. The big slide.. oh wow. Its great. line moves quickly, slide is fun. Its a GREAT way to enter the water upon arrival. My advice... lunge yourself off the hand bar and lay on your back with your shoulders flexed a little, arms crossed (like the body slide at Schlitterbahn).. makes for a a lot faster slide down! :) **Must be 48 inches or taller to ride** OR If shorter, must be able to pass a swim test or be enrolled in swim classes If you need the latter, you will need to go knock on the door up front and let them know.. once you qualify, they will give you a band for your child. The kids waterscape! Wow. So much fun packed in one litter area. The kids can walk around, not afraid of water, slide down the slide... jump in, shoot under the falls.. it was great. They absolutely loved it.. and so did I. I appreciated being able to sit at the table right next to the kiddie side and watch my kids have a blast without having to hold their hand. It was great. Elizabeth Milburn Park has been the location of the "Movies in Your Park" and "Splash Jam" series for the last 5 years. The events are hosted by the City of Cedar Park, with a gigantic inflatable movie screen and professional sound system provided by Blue Moon Cinemas. This is the park that keeps going, and going, and going ..... I felt like I was the "The Shinning" "Come and play with us Danny forever, and ever, and ever..." OK only it wasn't really scary, but it was noon....... You enter the big parking lot driving past the soccer area (probably a full acre of grass) on your right is a small batting practice area little kids only, the street is right there, a few tennis courts, and the pool complete with big slides .... and small kids water play scape. Park, and round the pool, two playscapes, and a small wooded area with a bunch of barbecue pits. there were also some volleyball courts, and a covered party area. Deeper in, you get the rock wall (only about 12 feet tall, bummer for me, but good for little man, who climbs up it like spiderman's first assent. some of the grips are busted or really loose .... ) deeper in baseball/cricket area (people actually play cricket? Yes ... weird) further back, there is a dirt bike course (my boy blasts around it.) more woods .... this is where I have "The Shining" moment ..... we walk deeper into this place .... another volleyball court, playscapes, a few exits to the back street, wait a minute my best friend lives back there ....) glad I brought a windbreaker, these trees really bring down the temp. more picnic areas .... people have partied here, there are a million beer cans .... nice people. Barbed wire fences around parts of it .... OK that is really not a good idea, but who am i? This is the kind of place you can burn 2 hours and not notice they passed. My son and I frequent the pool scene. Are usual spot "veterans memorial pool" but its just been to overcrowded lately and the parking is annoying me! Decided to change it up this weekend and go back to another favorite spot E. Milburn pool. It was so nice ample parking, plenty of shaded areas around the pool, bathrooms were decent, no long line to get in, and only $3 total for the two of us --whoop whoop! Veterans has more pool activities for the kiddos but what's the point if you can barely move with out getting kicked by another kid. My little one is just happy to be at the pool so even with having Less pool activities example: multiple kid slides, water mushroom etc doesn't bother him he's just excited to be there. And I have much more arm and leg room to follow him in the pool! Looking forward to there movie nights at the pool we'll be there! We'll be back and I highly recommend if you want a nice family friendly cool pool that isn't too crowded! read more

This is for the pool area. I love coming here on a weekday as it's not crowded. The water is lovely. There are two lap lanes if you want to do some cardio. The 4 year old I was with enjoyed himself in the little kid area. It's sectioned off from the deeper 3-5 feet end of the pool. There's a large water slide which I believe you need to be able to pass a swim test to use. It's $3 for adults and less for children. There are plenty of life guards. I wish the showers were stronger but at least I can shower afterwards. There are three bathroom stalls that are pretty clean and stocked with TP. I believe you can even purchase food and water and it's cool if you want to bring your own to eat. I did not know that 9-1 is tots and parents time. So call ahead or look at the schedule before heading over. Lovely community pool spot. read more

I am not very impressed with the pool here lately. We paid $12.00 at 5:38 p.m this past Sunday. I had 4 kids in tow and the staff at the entrance didn't bother telling us they were closing at 6:00 pm. We then learned that we could have come in free if we arrived there at 5:40 p.m. We promptly asked for our money back and were told that they don't give refunds. We didn't even have time to use the pool. We called the next day and they could have cared a less that they had unhappy kids or the fact they have no policies in place that would have let us know they were closing. Instead, they said that there was a sign posted which is off to the side, around a corner and higher then 5 feet. Not a very well placed sign. Last few times I've been here the kids have been rough and the lifeguards don't say anything to them. I've been kicked in the head and have had to move my 3 year old out of the way before he was kicked. I say swim at your own risk here as there doesn't seem to be any adults in charge. read more

One of the staple hangouts from my childhood, and even now. Pretty good as far as parks go. Plenty of green space, swimming pool, tennis courts, soccer fields and goals, sand volleyball, pavilion, cookout pits, basketball court, playgrounds, mini BMX hills, and a 1-mile running path around it all. Every now and then they also have movies in the park and sometimes even concerts and carnivals come through here. Just a nice place to hang out and chill. read more

One and a half weeks of paying $1 to swim as an adult with a child in the swim class then they wanted $3 today. No thanks. They charge whatever they want and whenever they want. Teens should not be running this place. Great swim instructors and pool but the kids running the entrance are idiots. I am not going back. read more

pretty awesome park. We've only visited the pool for birthday parties - my kids are happy they are finally old enough to ride the big slide and passed the swim test. (they were 5 and 7 last summer when they were able to). My older likes the green thing that spins, I like the shaded picnic tables and my younger daughter likes the rock climbing wall. Best pool especially if you have kids. It is very kid friendly. I wish I still lived in Cedar Park for this specific reason. All the lifeguards did test on rescuing a fake child so that reassures me they are staying prepared. Great park! My kids love the playscapes, there are two, both are big and have a lot of stuff to do. These playgrounds are always busy directly after school however. There are a lot of cool events that take place here too like movies in the park and splash jam and fireworks and they are always a ton of fun. Love this place! read more

The pool area is a great spot for kid's and adults. I had my son's 4 th birthday party, and rented out the Larger Shaded area. The shaded area made all the difference, it was nice and breezy. The kids will have fun in kid pool as well as the adult side. This place is great! read more

This is an amazing Park! I have three boys ranging in age from 5 yrs. to 12 yrs. It's fabulous. Something for everybody. We loved the rock climbing walls and the huge fields. We went there on a Friday night and played kick ball. We had plenty of space to play. The play scape is back behind the pool which is way away from the road. They have a batting area, volley ball court, basket ball court, and soccer fields. We are looking forward to going back this weekend. Thinking about having my youngest birthday party out there. They have a large covered picnic area. Very clean bathrooms,and the grounds are well manicured. They even have movies in the park. We missed the last one but hope to catch the next one. Parking is good. We've only gone on Friday nights though around 5 or 6 P.M. Never had a problem finding a parking spot. Play scape is well covered by mature trees to keep it nice and cool for the kiddos to play. Trash cans are everywhere so it's easy to dispose of your trash where ever you are on the grounds. IT is an extremely nice area and we love it recommend going anytime. Good family time. :) read more
