    Nice playscape.

Very nice park with lots to offer kids--huge open fields, swimming pool, great for big events like Fourth of July and Labor Day festivals (secret tip--the Labor Day fireworks are actually MUCH better than the Fourth of July ones!) There's playscapes, a short jogging trail, and a cool BMX bike area with lots of hills and jumps. Plus bathrooms that are generally clean.

THE GOOD: Large park with great amenities and loads of fun for the family. Awesome pool with water features and great slides for small kids and big kids. Separate swim areas for small children and bigger kids/adults. Large shade structures provide lots of shade around the pool area. Huge plus. Large open fields for sports. Covered pavilion, picnic tables, and BBQ pits. Great and unique playscapes for the kiddos. Movies In The Park in the Spring and Fall when the weather is pleasant! Ample parking. Affordable. The park is free. The pool is like $3 for adults and $1 for kids over 3. THE BAD: The pool hours are 1 PM to 8 PM in the summer. WTH? Why 1 PM? Why not 10 AM to open? 1 PM seems a little late to open a pool in my opinion. THE UGLY: The toilets are like prison toilets only less well maintained. Not that I am expecting much from a park toilet. It could be worse I suppose. OVERALL: Elizabeth Milburn is a great park that offers something for residents of all ages. That's what a great park should do. If they adjust the funky hours for the pool and get the toilets slightly cleaner this review shoots to five stars.

Wow!! Look at the climbing apparatuses on the big playscape!

Wow!! They really went all out here. We haven't been in about a year and the place has been remodeled on a grand scale. This is the ultimate park for adventurers and climbers. What a great surprise. Both a small and large playscape, rock climbing walls, trails, picnic tables, volleyball, BBQs, spinning things, jumping things and swings. Best part? Lots of shade over the little playscape. Not so much over the larger one. Love the small playscape. Didn't feel like I had to hover so much since it was designed age appropriately. They even have a bridge that doesn't jostle the littles or bounce them off through the sides. We had the place to ourselves until 10am before the Meetup mom groups, exercisers and other kids showed up. Also has restrooms!

So far (I know there are others to still try) the best pool we have gone to this summer. I've been sitting in this weird place where each of the pools we went to had their good qualities and their bad. The 4 of us were unable to agree on the one pool we all thought was best......until now. I decided, since it was the last weekend before school, that I wanted to "shower" the kids with fun for the weekend. Since the other pools were not fully "doing it" for us.. we came here with higher hopes! We arrived about 15-20 minutes after it opened (which is 1pm...WEIRD, but OK). Need some shade? Well, you dont have to look for it here. The amount of shade is unbelievable. Thank you so much! I mean honestly, to get out of the sun is something to appreciate. There were plenty of places to sit, lounge, relax... in the shade or the sun. It was great. The shade alone is definitely a big feature that sets them aside from the others. but that's not all.. .. The life jackets they offer..my little ones do not have them (I know, I should get some) anyhow.. I appreciated so much walking in and seeing a multitude of jackets of ALL sizes, even adult for hubs. THANK YOU.. The big slide.. oh wow. Its great. line moves quickly, slide is fun. Its a GREAT way to enter the water upon arrival. My advice... lunge yourself off the hand bar and lay on your back with your shoulders flexed a little, arms crossed (like the body slide at Schlitterbahn).. makes for a a lot faster slide down! :) **Must be 48 inches or taller to ride** OR If shorter, must be able to pass a swim test or be enrolled in swim classes If you need the latter, you will need to go knock on the door up front and let them know.. once you qualify, they will give you a band for your child. The kids waterscape! Wow. So much fun packed in one litter area. The kids can walk around, not afraid of water, slide down the slide... jump in, shoot under the falls.. it was great. They absolutely loved it.. and so did I. I appreciated being able to sit at the table right next to the kiddie side and watch my kids have a blast without having to hold their hand. It was great. Helpful Info: $1 Kids 4-8 $2 Ages 9-17 $3 Adults Hours: Monday - Saturday 1pm - 8pm Sunday 1pm-6pm You can bring your own food (but if you didn't they have snacks for $1) They have season passes available Poolside Shade rentals available Private pool rentals available There is a park right behind the pool (we didnt have time to venture, but we are coming back.. dont doubt that!) Its an awesome park too.. my son was in awe when he saw all the climbing stuff... ahhh.. for another time. Its a great place to hang out.We will definitely be back.. I especially cannot wait to go to movie night here!

Great park in Cedar Park. Swimming pool, pavilion, covered and lighted basketball court, play equipment, climbing wall, bmx bike trail with ramps, cricket pitch, mile jogging track, multiple fields, movies in the park, and 18 Pokestops. I probably left out some stuff, but that list will give you an idea of what's available.

Elizabeth Milburn Park has been the location of the "Movies in Your Park" and "Splash Jam" series for the last 5 years. The events are hosted by the City of Cedar Park, with a gigantic inflatable movie screen and professional sound system provided by Blue Moon Cinemas. After being cooped up all day in the AC, it's great to be able to enjoy a FREE family-friendly event. Summer nights at the park/pool are truly enjoyable!

This park is a very popular place for Cedar Park residents because of the huge extensive playscape area for the kids. It also features a pavillion and has well maintained public bathrooms. Everything about this park looks recently built and it appears more construction is coming. There is tons of parking here and lots of covered picnic table space along with some grills. This is the only park I have seen where you'll find zip lines incorporated into the children's playscape area. This place has all the bells and whistles you could hope for, except for a swimming pool. There is a nice paved pathway that runs around the park and continues across the Muir Lake dam (aka Upper Brushy Creek Dam) and includes a large sports field acreage on the opposite side. There's no swimming allowed in the lake and you probably wouldn't want to anyway. However, they do rent kayaks and have a launch point on the lake. In the spring time this park comes alive with bluebonnets and other native flowers. The size of this park is enormous, and is capable of accommodating thousands of visitors. This park is worth seeking out due to all its amenities even if you don't live in Cedar Park. The photos included add much more to the narrative.

Don't get your expectations up for the sights on the train ride - it's not much. A soccer field and then it's just dry brush / trees. One of the most disappointing elements was that there was no info given on the ride (saw speakers so the conductor could have talked). According to their website, the train takes you through the hideout of Sam Bass (outlaw that died in Round Rock) so that would have been cool to hear about. Overall, kids love trains so this is a good way to entertain them.

You can also walk on the unpaved trail along the water (it's very smooth and stroller-friendly). There is a playground. It's split into two areas for different ages. It's great in theory but I found it a bit lacking. There's a rudimentary playground that's labeled as 2-5. And a crunk playground (3-tiered, with gnarly slides) labeled as 5-12. Don't get me wrong -- this big playground is awesome for older kids. But it's a bit too advanced/scary for a 3-year-old. Meanwhile, the little playground was too simple/easy for her. So there's a middle age that isn't really catered to. But, great for 2-year-olds and 5+. There are also multiple parks with playgrounds within a short driving distance (Champion, Olson Meadows) so you can easily park hop.

The fireworks show alone was worth the entire trip and wait. It was far better than the 4th of July. In fact it was so good I can't even imagine what the 4th of July for Cedar Park has in store for fireworks. And I'm going to guess that what they've done in the past has been great. Okay, so they had live music all night long. They had carnival game. They had carnival rides. Balloon pops frog toss. The bag slide. The spinner ride. 3 free bounce houses. The hamster ball. Also known as zorb balls. Mechanical bull. Wipeout. Rock wall climbing. Bungee bouncing. Roasted corn. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, pickles, funnel cakes. Snow cones, water, soda, tea. A gymnastics show. And a firework show that pretty much just beat all. Everything was almost reasonably priced. It can get pricey with more than one child. Especially if a family of four is wanting to do each event. It's worth doing a couple but for the type of events I don't like forking over too much cash for that. The crowd was more than pleasant. The lines were not long. Everybody was a pleasure to be around. All the staff and volunteers were all very friendly and sweet. Justin nice atmosphere all the way around. The festival lasted from 5 p.m. To 8:30 p.m.. The firework show start promptly at 830. It lasted until 8 53. 23 minutes of absolutely astonishing fireworks. Let's not forget about the kickass park they have. With a multitude of climbing pieces. A slide that will knock you on your butt. And a swimming pool what the water playground for the kids and a slide for bigger kids and adults. My family and I had the time of our life out there today. We got there around 1:30 p.m. And we stayed until 9 p.m.. It was a blast. The firework show im still talking about it. It was just really great. I can't wait till next year. This will be an annual event for us. I wish we had been the last 5 years. But I'm grateful I found out about it and we got to go get here. And I'm very much looking forward to next year.
