Came here with my daughter and her friends to let off a little steam. Our group had 4 people total and what I found impressive was the amount of breakable items they had out for us to break. This place doesn't skimp out! They give you 25 min but we were going through everything pretty quickly! They also had some file cabinets and old PC's for you to continue to smash through. The staff was very friendly, they automatically give you a speaker to connect your music to. Definitely recommend checking them out. Note: it does get warm in the room so dress appropriately since you will be given a jumpsuit. Also make sure you're wearing closed toe shoes. You'll have protective ear, head and face gear which will be needed since glass is jumping everywhere! read more

I had a lot of fun breaking stuff here. I was given protective gear including a helmet with a plastic protector for the face, gloves and clothing. The guys in the front desk were very friendly, they let us connect to their speaker through Bluetooth and I played some hard rock music that I found fitting for the occasion. The session lasts 25 minutes. I added 2 TVs to smash, those are very hard to break since they only have metal bars and not sledgehammers as other rage rooms, I'd avoid purchasing them as extra next time. The guys were nice and gave me an extra computer monitor to break, it was fun! They also have 1 fridge and a broken washer that you can smash. Very therapeutic! read more

We had such a great time celebrating a friend's birthday at Lonestar Rage & Entertainment! The people there are so nice and helpful. They provide everything you need for a smashing fun time. You could even create a playlist in advance and then plug your phone into their speaker - just don't smash it! I would highly recommend this experience for a celebration or just stress relief. read more

Ripoff. Looking at their website, it seems there are items in the "Rage Room" to break. However, truth, ONLY glass items. If you want, for example tv, microwave, any items to trash, it is extra. $65 is ways to much for breaking glass only. I will not go back and will definitely not refer this. Possible the Axe or Splatter, but definitely not "Rage Room". I can break glass in my back yard for free. read more

I picked this place for my daughters 15th birthday. We got the escape room & the splatter room right after. The guys who run this place are really cool. We got her 1/2 an hour early & was just chatting away. We've done 12 escape rooms across 11 states, this was HARRRRRD !!! Our last room we just did last month we did it in record time, so I'll be honest we thought this one would be easy but this place is definitely is all puzzle work. Sometimes we just get lucky & we stumble on a clue but we had to have EVERY clue & we STILL lost. Gah ! Next up was the Splatter Room. Definitely get the poncho or bring one. It's one room with massive paint everywhere! My daughter doesn't paint but draws (not wings thou lol, inside joke with the owners) so she was excited to get dirty with paint. She said her birthday was better than Disneyland!! Ahhh mom NAILED it !! read more

My husband and I went here last Friday for a fun date night. It was such a great stress reliever and workout! We both had so much fun. Our session was about 30 minutes long - I felt like this was more than enough time. I suggest you wear boots as there is a lot of glass on the floor. They'll provide jumpsuits, gloves, and a hard hat. My only complaint is the gloves are pretty thin. I wish they were a little thicker. Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time! read more

I've been so stressed out as of late; I decided to plan a date day for my husband and myself. A good friend pointed me int the Breaking Point's direction. Booking online was super easy! (Major plus for me) I booked a rage room and a splatter room session back to back, about three weeks in advance. We arrived a little early but the guys were super friendly and welcoming. We completed the wavier and were quickly welcomed into the Rage room. We got a set of coveralls, hard hats with face shields and gloves. We were given a quick introduction with a few rules then they left us to our own devices. It was AMAZING! I felt my stress just melt off of me. I was so excited to break glass bottles and kick over filing cabinets. I even went "surfing" on a filing cabinet, while I rocked out to my own playlist from the provided Bluetooth speaker. Next we went to the splatter room. We wore ponchos and rolled up our pants. It was amazing! We apologize for the minor rage room bleed through my husband got a little paint happy with a blue cup. We left smiling and laughing, something we haven't done in some time. Definitely send all my friends this way! read more

Omg so much fun!! We did the rage room and paid the upgrade for the additional breakables. Totally worth it!! The staff was so friendly & helpful explaining the process and setting us up. We had adults & teens and everyone had an equally great time. The extra touch writing Happy Birthday on the glass to shatter made for great photos & video. A little behind on this review. Shana and I had heard about rage rooms but never looked into them but with everything going on and several stress causing changes we booked some time and a basic package here. Now we only did the rage room. They have a splatter room where you throw around paint, are throwing, also a escape room. The employees were super pleasant and outgoing. You get helmets with face plates, full coveralls, and gloves. Then given bottles, mugs, plates, a casserole dish, and a keyboard on the basic package. You have several bats of different lengths, weights, and sizes. Iron/metal bars, and a crowbar which was Shana's favorite . You can get a Bluetooth speaker to connect a phone or device too and we made a break stuff Playlist then went to town. There are also filing cabinets that have been beat up but you can attack as well. It is therapeutic and fun. Shana had a blast and watching her cut loose was as fun as destroying stuff myself. While waiting on your turn you can watch the people currently in the room and in turn be watched when you are raging out. Only two real downsides to what we did and saw. O ly one working bathroom in the back. There is a 2nd one but it didn't work when we where there. Also with the physical demands of all the stuff the fact they don't sell bottled water and soda or drinks is both sad and a big missed business opportunity. A water fountain would also be useful but we would have bought 2 bottled waters no questions asked. They also have chalkboard walls which people write messages on and you can too. They supplied the chalk when asked. A really fun time. They have other packages where you can get extra items or unique items. I believe you can even bring your own stuff but double check me on that. Your hand and muscles may hurt for a day or two after but you feel better. Give it a try. Fun place, friendly staff. read more

This place gets your blood pumping!! We came for my brothers 16th birthday and it was so fun. We were greeted by 2 friendly men who we chatted with for awhile until our appt time. We were then taken back to put on these penguin suits that are SO comfortable..(Don't knock it till you try it). We banged on filing cabinets, smashed beer bottles and listened to Metallica for 45 minutes. If you've ever had any pent up anger or frustration...bring it to the surface for this! Me and two other friends wanted to try there rage room, so tried it over the weekend, I think rage room is there popular one, so would recommend the reservation!! Guys at the front were friendly, welcoming and helpful, so they have some junk appliance stuff, which doesn't budge, so you can break just the beer and other bottles, overall it was good, but after breaking few bottles, you feel this is it, but still a nice experience to try for one time!! read more

For some strange reason, my husband decided to bring me here for our fifth anniversary. It was a very strange surprise but, we ended up having a pretty good time. We did the 25 minute deal and brought our own items, but got some thing like a dozen of theirs to break, they let you play whatever music you want and suit you up in the protective gear. I have never done this before, so I don't have context around whether the items they gave us to break were particularly cool or not, but they offer a lot of tools and there's a lot of stuff in the room that you can bang on if you run out. I felt like 25 minutes was kind of long for the amount of stuff we were given, but I think we could have done a better job, bringing a more diverse collection of our own. We brought a broken TV, some household items, and a bunch of glass shelves from a bathroom remodel. If I were you, I would bring more bottles and recycling type stuff, it's more fun to swing up. read more

We had a fun afternoon out here and it's definitely a fun do it once for a pair or group. We did the smash room for 30 min with 39 extra smashables ($100). We were lucky to be the first ones in the smash room - because we were first up, we had. A fridge freezer and a tv to smash (along with lots of bottles). It was awesome to blast rage music and smash things up - we did notice though that for groups that came after us the room wasn't reset with larger smash items that we had (like the fridge and tv). So I guess try to be first up for the day! We also did an hour of axe throwing (which was probably 30 min longer than we should have booked) and the splat room. The splat room was great BUT def bring a change of clothes so you can get more out of it. Overall, it was pricy but fun - but def worthwhile for a date night read more

What a fun place right in our back yard. Owners were super nice and accommodating we did the rage room and had a blast...we had 3 couples for a birthday party and had plenty of bottles to smash between us all. We had also brought our own TV and bottles to smash (which was ok). As we were walking in the door, my friend gets a text asking to push our reservation as we see people still in the rage room. They tell us to come back in 15-20 minutes so we decide we'll go to the bar that's walking distance. We grab and drink and come back, there's people suiting up, the people who had a reservation AFTER us. They did not call or text us letting us know to come since it was our turn to go. They tell us to wait so we did in our cars. After 15 minutes we go inside. A man named Sloan, apologized on his coworkers behalf and gave us some extra bottle to smash. They allocate 20 minutes per party on the website so the turn around is fast. If a party takes too long it throws off the whole schedule. Sloan was very nice and we had a great time once it was our time to go. We got to play our own music and since we brought extra things to smash we used up the whole 20 minutes.

Definitely worth checking out for a day of family fun in the hot TX summer!

Barton Springs is open every day but Thursdays so plan accordingly for that. I am told it's a day where they clean the pool. It took a little bit of navigating to get to the pool as we had to plan to come here on a hot day as opposed to a rainy day which we were encountering here on our trip but it worked out fine. We landed on a warm day and got pool time. And Barton Springs is perfect to come to on a hot day. The temperature is between 68-70 degrees which makes it great swimming all year round here. The bottom of the pool has plant life and it's not all concrete and polished at the bottom so be aware of that... it's definitely has a natural look. There are also signs not to touch the rocks at the bottom as it is the home to some rare amphibians I believe. But aside from that as long as you follow the signs you're good. The water is extremely refreshing and invigorating and even after leaving the pool and you are on your way you still feel for a while thise sensations which added more to the impressive experience we had here. Parking fees and entrance fees to the pool are reasonable. It's $5 if you are a resident and $9 if you aren't. I highly, highly recommend making a stop at Barton Springs if you are in Austin... it definitely helps complete the city experience here.
