At a near century old establishment serving steaks the whole time is a hard thing to do. There are lots of restaurants that pivot and change and use burgers to get by, but steaks the whole time is a work that needs to be celebrated. Sure Texas is known for their cattle production and Nebraska for their grain grown to feed cattle, but the beef here, is grass grown, local that could have walked here and there is something to be said about that. That's more than dance with who brung you, but rather eat em where they lay. Apparently this used to be a Butcher Shop / Bank, interesting combo before 1937. Family owned and operated for generations. I came here 3 times while I was passing thru they do alot of things well. The BYO burger upgraded to Bison is a rarity and a must. The Fried Chicken sandwich is hearty and balanced with the horseradish, tomato, pickles. It doesn't even need cheese. Rocky Mountain oysters and tender with just enough chew. The breaded cheese curds hold up well to dipping sauces which most normal curds dont. Rocker sauce is good, but never figured out what was in it. Tangy, sweet. Loved the Wedge salad, the ranch was outstanding. Prime rib after 5pm, upgrade your sides to loaded baked potato and a wedge side salad, it's worth it. The 10 oz is more like 12 and the 16 oz is more like 18. Great crust and seasoning, zesty horseradish. Wall to wall pink, tender, juicy. No sauces here like au poive or a bernaise. Save room for dessert their carrot cake is moist, soft and sweet. the peanut butter pie is a downhome classic and the oreos, my god. Service is great, prices are good for the area. Ambiance is excellent. It's a great representation of what an area can do without trying to be like someone else. I actually had their shrimp which is odd being so far from water here, they obliged me to get them all 3 ways if I ordered 2 orders.

I stopped in for lunch and had a prime rib "sandwich". It was deconstructed and basically a steak with a side of toast, side salad and an au jus. They have separate lunch and dinner menus that can only be ordered from at certain times. Stacey's seems like it'd be pretty lively after dark. They have a full bar, pool table, a gaming section and a large back yard. I very much enjoyed the outdoor view from their back patio. Check them out if in the area!

We simply had a wonderful time on the Madison (full day float) with our knowledgeable and…read morepersonable guide Brandon yesterday! This was our first time to fly fish and first trip to MT. We had been playing this trip by ear and had been in Yellowstone the day prior with no cell or WiFi to get a guide lined up for the next day (our last day) in the area . I found Trout Chasers and called at 8pm on our way to Bozeman. Julie the owner answered and even though she was fully booked, she worked to find us a guide and had it all lined out an hour later we were thrilled! We will be back and ask for Brandon who spent the time to teach this Texas black bass girl how to Montana flyfish!

We stayed in the main lodge and booked the all inclusive package which was the greatest decision ever - the food was absolutely amazing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with appetizers ready for you when you get off the river and a full 3 course dinner each night. The lodge is also an outfitter so they can arrange guided fishing trips for you. The location can't be beat - 20 minutes from the Bozeman airport, a huge property complete with river front footage of the Gallatin river. We are for sure future repeat customers.

If I could give Feast Bistro 6 stars, I would!…read more We started with the Curried Halibut Cake appetizer, which had the perfect amount of kick without overpowering the fresh flavor of the fish. The Roasted Beet Salad was cool, refreshing, and a perfect complement to the appetizer. For my main course, I had the Catch of the Day--Sea Bass--prepared with Thai-inspired flavors. It was outstanding. I never would have believed jasmine rice could be prepared in such a savory and flavorful way. Every bite was exceptional. My date ordered the Lobster and Grits and absolutely loved it. Our servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and offered robust wine pairing recommendations that complemented each course perfectly. We finished the evening with a delicious selection of desserts, which was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. We dined on the patio, and the atmosphere was absolutely delightful. From start to finish, every aspect of the experience exceeded our expectations. Without question, this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in Bozeman, and I can't wait to come back.

To start, we had the daily ceviche, which was a salmon ceviche with a bright citrus marinade, garnished with oranges and served alongside crispy wonton crackers. It was fresh, light, and a perfect way to kick off the meal. Next, we shared the hot crab dip, which was rich, warm, and packed with flavor. Served with grilled bread, it was the kind of dish you keep dipping back into because it's just that good. For our main dish, we shared the Brown Butter Scallops -- prosecco salt dusted scallops served with arugula pesto, herb mushrooms, and bacon & butternut squash arancini. The scallops themselves were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, but the real standout on the plate was the arancini. Crispy on the outside with a rich, savory filling of bacon and butternut squash, it paired beautifully with the rest of the dish and completely stole the show. The entire meal was beautifully plated and thoughtfully prepared. The only small note is that the restaurant can get a bit loud when it's full, which can make conversation with your dinner companion slightly harder. That said, the lively atmosphere shouldn't stop you from enjoying a meal here. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience. If you go, do not skip the bacon and butternut squash arancini--it was the absolute star of the dish and truly sensational.
