Despite not having a shuttle service, the service department had a very polite lot attendant take me back to work and pick me up right on time after I finished for the day to take me back. The repair was a warranty job and the technician made a couple of suggestions, one of which I took him up on. The engine light issue was fixed at the right time and under warranty after I made an appointment literally the evening before. I have no complaints and am glad that an efficient and friendly Chevy dealer is so close to my place of employment. read more

My son purchased a used vehicle from Elkins Chevrolet, and unfortunately the experience since then has been extremely disappointing. The vehicle developed problems very early in ownership, and despite repeated service visits and an ongoing engine/oil-consumption issue, the matter ultimately progressed to the point where the engine now needs to be replaced. What is especially frustrating is that Elkins has acknowledged in writing that one of the required oil-consumption measurements could have been performed while the vehicle was already in their service department, but it was not. General Motors has since become involved and advised that responsibility for addressing the issue rests with the dealership. A dealership should stand behind the vehicles it sells, especially when serious problems begin shortly after purchase. Instead, my son has spent months dealing with repairs, conflicting explanations, warranty issues, and now a major engine expense. I'm sharing this so other buyers know to ask very detailed questions about warranty coverage, document every service visit, and keep every piece of paperwork. Based on our family's experience, I would be very cautious about purchasing a used vehicle here." That gives them very little room to say you posted anything false or exaggerated. I would not say "they sold him a bad car on purpose," "they committed fraud," or anything like that unless you could actually prove it. read more

Found a truck and secured financing - then they stopped contacting me Jonathon the Sales Manager found Md unimportant enough to contact or even call back. Wow really disappointing. I do not recommend. I had my financing taken care of and couldn' t be bothered to call me. He called me more than 24 hours after he said "call you shortly". TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If I could give them no stars I would. I bought a Chevrolet Trax from them back in October 2024. Two months after I bought it, my 2025 car had a complete malfunction of the body control module. My car has now been in for service FIVE TIMES! They fixed something different every time the car was in and asked me what the issue was every time (same issue each time). The service department is completely dismissive and lacks any sort of quality customer service. Santia was sweet at first but progressively seemed to get more annoyed with me and this last time (fifth) I brought my car for service she could not even look at me. They treat me like it is my fault this brand new car keeps having the same issue that they were unable to fix! Their loaner cars I have gotten are DIRTY with one having chewed off finger nails in the cupholder. I was made to bring loaner cars back because of mileage constraints (odometer can't go over 2000 miles) because my car was there in service for 2 months!! And then the next car I got WAS OVER the mileage limit I was told was a requirement for their loaner cars. Every time I brought a loaner car back I had to sign stating I brought it back in good condition and I had to request a copy of that paperwork instead of them giving me a copy. That is sketchy! That should be standard and I should not have to ask, I do not trust this dealership whatsoever. I got my car back after 2 months and the dealer didn't even bother to give it a wash or anything. I spoke with Josh Elkins service manager and he told me to call him if I had any more issues with my vehicle since he was "confident" they fixed the issue after the THIRD time. I ran into an issue AGAIN! I called Josh and he was indifferent, he told me to call roadside assistance and that bringing me a loaner is not something they will do and his workers could come and pick me up so I didn't have to ride with tow truck "but that's not something they are going to want to do" were his exact words. I have never had worse customer service from a dealership EVER! Josh has no care for his customers, I am frustrated rightfully so I bought a brand new car and have not even driven it for months! There is no compassion. My car is now in service for the FIFTH time and I was now told there are no loaner vehicles for me since they are all out to customers waiting on "extended parts" meaning that their whole fleet of loaners are with customers probably ALSO waiting MANY months for their cars to be repaired. I cannot warn you enough to STAY AWAY from this dealership. Take it from me if you care about how you are treated at a dealer or plan to take your car back for service at the dealer, go elsewhere. read more

Called up at the dealership 10 am. Talked to salesman Richard. Got transferred to some short male manger forgot his name. We discussed everything payments rates. did a credit application and everything. Drove all the way from Maryland a 2 hour drive. The car wasn't even detailed. there was old wax sitting in between the door panels meaning the car hasn't been detailed since they got the vehicle. Came all the way up here just to see the vehicle not moved not cleaned not anything, paint falling off the rims. Embarrassing and just a slap in the face and i do not recommending coming here. 1500.00 To replace a daytime running light on a 2018 Chevy malibu. Can only be replaced at a dealer ship (bad design). Contacted general motors over this. They have been in contact with Elkins Chevrolet, and they got absolutely nowhere ( still 1500.00 to replace). My car hasn't been serviced there since 2022, and they really didn't need our business ( Military Veteran Retired). I purchased my car there 4 years ago. Bought my 2017 chevy equinox here. Lori is great. However my car has a 151 certified point inspection. The sun roof was leaking bc the weather stripping was bad. I was so upset my car smelled like a swamp and the carpet under the driver's seat was soaked and stinky. I take it there bc they told me to bring it in I just bought the car 2 weeks prior. They proceed to try to charge me 1500 dollars to replace the weather stripping.... but literally just sold me a car that they marked off that they inspected that. Thank God I bought a car with that certified 151 point of inspection because they just wanted to rip me off. I walk in with it highlighted and they just casually oh okay... we will order the parts.. then at this point they don't like me anymore because I didn't want to be ripped off. It's pathetic how I just spent 30,000 on a vehicle and you tried to rip me off for your improper check of the inspection. Make sure to keep your papers people!! They did fix it but I could feel the awkwardness and the tone change in the man. Josh. Sorry to disappoint you but you aren't ripping me off like the other people.. anything for a buck right? Just sucks I had to dig into my things to prove this had to be covered, they were brushing it off. I'm still mad. I have 2 free oil changes with you and I'm not coming. I paid another place to change my oil. Facts: purchased low mileage Silverado from Elkins. The truck was certified by them. At my first oil change the tires are bad, the battery needs to be replaced and the alignment is fails. I call Elkins and they say bring it in. Only 3000 miles since purchased. I drive 1 hour to get there and hit a piece of metal in their parking lot gashing one of my tires. I talk to the service check in and joe stated it none of it is covered. I go and talk to Bill the salesman and he says have them look at it and let him know. Joe comes back 30 minutes later and says that Bill stated it is billable. Well over $300 dollars. I collected my truck and went to a reputable tire company and they fixed my truck. Please avoid this establishment. They are bad people!!! UPDATE: 07/14/2017 I'll start off by saying Joe in service was professional and courteous. The sales side and decision are what lead to a bad review. I took the truck to a reputable national chain and the tires were actually dry rotted and the alignment was out. According to the technician, the alignment had not been adjusted in a long time and based off the wear on the tires, the alignment was bad for longer than 4 months. I have the certification papers from Elkins which indicate the alignment was checked and passed as well as the tread depth on tires. Ford, Elkins and Pep boys all indicated the alignment being bad at my first oil change since buying the vehicle certified and according to manufacturers recommended oil change interval. The tires, battery and alignment all failed on my Ford and Pep boys report. I have paid well over $1000 for a certified low mileage Chevy. I understand and accept normal wear and tear on a vehicle, but when a vehicle is inspected and sold as "certified", I would like consistency in reporting and a product which purchased based off of said reports at a higher price. Really feel like I been taken for a ride here. So i got my mom's car towed in due to car not working properly and engine light coming on. They tell me its because of the fuel pump, so i go ahead and get that done, which is over $800 job. Then they call and tell me, that wasn't it and it was a engine module. Now i had to pay for that as well, on top of this fuel pump i never needed. Of course like any other shop they also give you a whole list of all the things wrong with your car. So with getting some work done, I end up paying close to $2300. Two days later my mom's engine light comes on again. Now I have to come off of work and get her car looked at before the weekend. Now they tell me its something on the engine that i had replaced twice already this year. Although i don't believe it was that i think they looked for something to blame it on so sure why not blame it on an aftermarket piece. Long story short. I ended up paying close to $3000 here in a week time. Totally feel taken advantage of and duked. I hope I never have to use this location again. read more

I made an appointment to see the Discontinued Chevy Spark. Upon my arrival the salesman Michael was very helpful and sat down with me and told me that he would sell me the car for 18.8K then he comes back with the finance manager about 10 minutes later who said that we needed to pay $20,500 for the car. The car was marked at 22,000 but I had done my research and I knew that the MSRP for the car was only around 16 to 17,000. It is also a 2022 and it's the end of the year so I know that most car dealers are trying to get those cars off the lot to make space for the 2023 models. He told me that they marked the cars up $3000 or more because of the current economy, and because of the current market, if they didn't mark it up that much that people would come down from the New York car lots and buy all their cars and sell them at auction and make a profit. I explain to him that I wasn't coming from New York and I was just looking for a daily commuter. He refused to give me for what the car was actually worth, and told me that it was not going to be an easy car to find, and they were probably only two in the area. Upon further investigation, they were actually 54 in the exact same model and color. I drove to the Chevrolet dealer in Bridgeton New Jersey and they sold me the car for 18,600 MSRP plus they gave me an 84 month/100k miles warranty, one year of OnStar for free, and it was a higher Trim than the one I looked for in Marlton. In conclusion, make sure you do your shopping and do not let finance managers bully you into taking a bad deal. I did my research, and even upon showing him what I found on the Chevrolets website, he was not willing to budge or be respectful. I believe he only treating me this way, because I was a woman. I will not be returning to this dealership ever again. Bob Novak in Bridgeton will get my business for many years to come because of how amazing his salesman, Gary was and he's finance manager was. Being accommodating and helping people get the best deal in this economy is worth far more than screwing someone and getting the commission, and having them never return again. I hope that'll be a lesson to the owners of this business. read more

He smugly explained that if a person was interested in such an expensive vehicle, there was no reason to haggle, they should be able to afford ticket price. My husband bought a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado with the widow package, which came to a total of $80,000. I am extremely dissatisfied with this service. For starters, they have an atrocity of staff, and atrocious service. My husband's truck went in with a leaking rear windshield and for a front end alignment. They offered to wash it and my husband agreed, we proceeded to pick the truck up. When we got first glance of the truck, there was silicon everywhere, it was extremely sloppy, my 5 year old son could've done better. They scratched the entire truck from using a dirty rag and dirty water to which they admitted. The next day, the truck was making awful noises. So, we took it to another mechanic, and they notified us saying the bolts were coming out of the A-Arm. That could've led to the fatality of my husband. They f****d my truck up from day one. I spoke to rep on the phone about seeing and test driving a vehicle. When I came in the next day I was given a different sales rep and I was told I could not test drive the sports car I was interested in buying. They said I can happily test drive any tahoe or any other car just not the sports car I was interested in purchasing. The dealership made me drive over 2 hour round trip just to get told in person I can't test drive a sports car just incase I wreck it. Purchased a car from another dealer that had a recall. Elkin's was the closest Chevy dealer to my home, so I chose them. Very happy I did. The staff in service is super friendly. The secretary is very kind and helpful. The whole place is also very clean. When I scheduled my appointment, I was told the job should take about 2 hours. It ended up taking less than an hour. Because it was a recall, I didn't have to pay for the service. They still offered me coffee, bagels, and asked if I would like my car washed. I'll definitely be going back to them for routine maintenance or should anything arise in the future. read more

DO NOT BUY A USED CAR HERE!!! In June of 2016 I bought a 2009 Chevy Traverse. During the purchase I requested an extended warranty and they told me that a limited 3,000 mile warranty was all that they offered. Since that expired it has been nothing but issues with the car. First, my air conditioning quit working, the line from the front to the back of the car had to be replaced ($1,200). My electric mirrors quit working, I've had 3 emissions issues that have required more than $1,000 to repair, and we all know how fun the New Jersey Bureau of Motor Vehicles is when it comes to emissions issues. In addition, the tire pressure monitoring system had to be repaired, and their was an electronics short in my passenger side door that caused my electric locks and windows to quit working and required repair. I would give zero stars if possible. Avoid this dealership like the plague. read more
