Lynn is one of the event coordinators at the country club and she communicated with us every step of the way and was so helpful with offering suggestions when needed. Our guests raved about the food and the venue. I loved the bathrooms and how there were so many spots to take pictures. We loved this place and are so happy we got married there.

Upon entering, they'll need to badge you in since this is a members only club. Inside there is a bar/restaurant and a spacious event venue. Drinks are cheap, there's video poker, some pool tables and shuffleboard. Think of it like a nicer dive bar with good food. Breakfast is also cheap. It's your standard fare - eggs, omelets, pancakes. They make a mean country fried steak though. Portions are large enough that you can split if you're not too hungry. There's always the same staff on Sundays and I was surprised that even as guests, on our third time here, the staff remembered our drink orders! Orange juice for me, decaf coffee for my partner. That's some nice service! If you ever have the opportunity to go here or know someone who is a member, stop by and check it out. Everyone is very friendly!

You can only reach the director via email. I even reach out to the police serval time but the Chehalem center refused to have the individual trespassed so their hands are tie, all they can do is ask them to leave. They also run multiple business out of this building including a preschool. They do not prioritize the safety of the children or other business by allowing Homeless people to sleep where ever they like and go in and use the same restroom in the building.

If you're planning on visiting, make a reservation for ether a group or private tour. The group tour is $15 per person while the private tour is $150 for the entire group. The only drawback with the group tour is you don't know how many people might be in it. We had almost 40 in our group and that was a bit too many in my opinion. When you arrive, check-in is inside the red barn. They'll let you know which group tour you belong to. They have port o' potties and hand washing stations behind the barn. If you end up getting any food from the food truck (ostrich sliders and ostrich philly steak style sandwiches), you can bring it into the barn where there's picnic style tables and benches. The "gift shop" is also inside the barn. If you do come on wet day or after it rains, be sure to wear appropriate shoes...it can get muddy as you walk from one animal area to another.

Their tour was running late- by late I mean 40 minutes... so we had to shuffle things around party wise. The tour consists I of seeing the animals. Didn't realize that the Ostrich were there for lol meat purposes. During the tour kiddos got to feed them. They have a few different areas to roam, with some tables. It's a decent sized place. I think it could use some TLC though.

My girlfriends met me there last Tuesday, and we had the best time! I really enjoy the rule of no pets as I am allergic and even the no kids rule after a certain time I enjoy as well. I love my kids, but sometimes I just want to hang out with my friends w/o any kids around, so bravo Tumwater. The staff seem to love their jobs even when they are running around, and they do run around alot. The manager is super personable and loves what she does and it shows.
