What really made the night stand out, though, was the owner. They were present throughout the entire event and constantly checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly. She was onsite and able to respond quickly when needed. The facility was clean and charming, just what you'd want from a historic home. The gardens, where we spend most of our time, were well manicured and beautiful. The ballroom area was cool and perfect for dancing and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with cleaning supplies. Will definitely book here again, maybe a wedding next!?

She explained everything in detail and provided options. Throughout our planning- texting was an option which always had quick responses. The venue is such a beautiful place- we had the Ambassador room - which fit perfectly to my daughter's theme. The venue provided so many items- plates, utensils, tables, chairs and linens- which is great- a few less things to think of! They also provided a vendor list in which I used 2 vendors from - great experience with both! On the day of , the staff was ready and professional at all times. I had to move out the start time by an hour and they were quick to adjust. Throughout the night they cleaned up and were ready for the next item- cake cutting- late night snack. They made sure to set aside a plate of everything that was served and even brought appetizers from our cocktail hour to our suite so we didn't miss a thing. They served us first at the reception and delivered sweets from the dessert table directly to us--such thoughtful, personal touches that meant so much to us! And the food? Absolutely amazing. No need to cross the street, just walk over to the nearby parking structure. Great suggestion. The only issue I noticed was with the bathrooms - they need improvement. The guest bathrooms don't match the nice overall look of the place. Additionally, one of the doorknobs wasn't working properly, which compromised privacy. My suggestion is to install locks and replace the doors. My sister had to keep the door open for me because it wouldn't lock.
