I joined California Country Club to find a community of nice people to play golf with and to…read moreimprove my game. From first inquiry, the club made me feel incredibly welcome. Song Wang, the director of membership, gave me an excellent tour and I played a round to see if it was the right fit. I met wonderfully pleasant people, which made me feel confident in joining. The golf course is in fantastic condition with a great pace of play. Leadership really impressed me too--Tim, Mike, and Cyrus all took time to greet me on the course, which is a nice touch. Shoutout to Casey and Andrew who were also very pleasant back at the clubhouse. Off the course, their Agave Grill restaurant overlooks the first and last holes with a beautiful view. I had a grilled salmon dish that was splendid. I definitely see myself grabbing a bite before or after a round often. I'm excited to become a regular. If you've been considering CCC, give it a shot, and maybe I'll see you on course!

When a family member of mine passed away, they even sent me flowers. That meant so much to me and speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. James is incredibly knowledgeable and intentional with his coaching. He gives specific, practical cues in a way that's easy to understand. For example, he shared a bench press cue that completely changed the way I approach the lift and helped me stop failing at the bottom position. That level of detail makes such a difference. I participate in the small group classes at Driven, and they are absolutely worth it. The groups are intentionally small, and the programming is so individualized that it feels like personal training. James creates tailored plans for each person, complete with prescribed weights and number of reps. As someone who is not an athlete and definitely not a morning person , I can honestly say I look forward to my workouts now. I feel empowered every time I leave. I never realized how much I was capable of lifting before coming here... James has pushed me in the best way and helped me challenge myself safely and confidently.
