The property feels run-down, understaffed, has no convenient parking, smelled like mold, and overall felt cheap. My room also had a strange whining/winding noise throughout the entire night, which made it difficult to sleep. I called the front desk about it, but no maintenance assistance was offered and I wasn't given an alternative room. The next morning, we went to breakfast after being told it was served until 11:00 AM. We arrived at 10:15 AM, yet staff were already cleaning up and removing food. Despite serving what was essentially cold leftovers, they still charged us $25 per person. To make matters worse, our waiter, Martin, was trying to rush us out nearly 10 minutes before breakfast officially ended. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and nowhere near the quality I expected. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

The guest bathrooms don't match the nice overall look of the place. Additionally, one of the doorknobs wasn't working properly, which compromised privacy. My suggestion is to install locks and replace the doors. My sister had to keep the door open for me because it wouldn't lock.

However, the wedding at this place had a different issue, which was worse than bad food. There was rain. After the ceremony, we all went to the tent to find our seats. My wife and I were seated at a table. When we got there, someone moved my placard from the table to another one a few tables away, because they wanted someone from thae other table to sit with them. My wife and I complained and the person who moved the placard told us to fuck off. We spoke to the person from the venue. She did not want to confront them and tell them they were wrong. She asked us to wait. So while people got their first course, we stood outside. As people were served their second course, we were told we could sit at a table that did not have two adjacent seats. We declined. We spoke to the bride and groom and apologized. The wedding coordinator did not understand why we didn't want sit at a table without sitting next to each other while the main courses were being finished We left. So the comment was right. This wad the wedding where there was rain. I mistakenly believed this was the place with the bad food. It was the place where they wouldn't do anything about the seat being moved and told us to deal with it. I wasn't going g to comment on this place because we were treated so badly. When it popped up on my list, I mistakenly believed it was the nice place with bad food. Nope. This was the place that let people change our seats, let them tell us to fuck off, and then told us to sit apart at a table when the meal was almost over. She's right. I was wrong.

She was onsite and able to respond quickly when needed. The facility was clean and charming, just what you'd want from a historic home. The gardens, where we spend most of our time, were well manicured and beautiful. The ballroom area was cool and perfect for dancing and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with cleaning supplies. Will definitely book here again, maybe a wedding next!?

We had about 100 people for the celebration and we decorated the place and set up a photo drop by the bathroom. Our package had dinner and we brought our own cake. If people wanted alcohol it was on their own. The food was good, it was simple and tasty. The interior has lots of charm, it has warm woodbeam ceilings. This place used to be a bank and was built in the 1920s. I believe it can accommodate close to 200 people. I would say 150 is a pretty sweet number. Since it's an older building it does not have an elevator. However they do have those seats that gets you up and downstairs from those 90s era. We brought our own DJ ans decor, unlike places which only allow you to choose their own. Small Bathroom upstairs and a regular men's and women's downstairs. There's a bar in the back with top shelve selections. Food came out quickly and the night I do want to give props to Art and the team here. He made sure everything went smooth for us at the retirement party. From start to finish. He even made sure we had a parking spot since we were the MC of the night. She explained everything in detail and provided options. Throughout our planning- texting was an option which always had quick responses. The venue is such a beautiful place- we had the Ambassador room - which fit perfectly to my daughter's theme. The venue provided so many items- plates, utensils, tables, chairs and linens- which is great- a few less things to think of! They also provided a vendor list in which I used 2 vendors from - great experience with both! On the day of , the staff was ready and professional at all times. I had to move out the start time by an hour and they were quick to adjust. Throughout the night they cleaned up and were ready for the next item- cake cutting- late night snack. Overall, my daughter had a beautiful event and all my guests were happy and this is all to the amazing staff at The Rose Gardens. Thank you!!!
