I recently celebrated my daughter's Sweet 15 at this venue and it was truly an amazing experience from beginning to end. The attention to detail in all of the décor was beautiful and made the entire event feel so special and elegant. Everything was set up perfectly and the venue itself was spotless. You can tell they take a lot of pride in keeping the space clean and well organized. One of the highlights of the night was the bartender. The drinks were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. Our guests kept going back for more and everyone was impressed with both the quality and presentation. What really made the night stand out, though, was the owner. They were present throughout the entire event and constantly checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly. They made sure my daughter, my family, and all of our guests were having a great time. That level of care and attentiveness meant so much and helped the entire night run stress-free. My daughter had the most memorable Sweet 15, and I'm so grateful we chose this venue. We chose Salehs Palace to host my baby sis Quinceanera. Shaffik and his staff literally took out Pinterest board and made it come to life! Extremely nice staff and super attentive. Great communication throughout the whole process to make sure all your needs and expectations are met. Food was delicious, decor AMAZING! First, the ownership was quite rude and condescending. Second, the parking lot was poorly designed as attendees were instructed, by ownership, to park their cars in a neighboring area, which was some distance away from the venue. Third, the "palace" was poorly designed. I had know idea where gifts were to be placed and, moreover, there were random pieces of furniture, which had no relation to the quince. For example, one decoration (i.e., photo enclosed) was the cause of the quinceanera's dress being caught and nearly tangled by the decoration, which was not part of the party . Also, the food was weak at best. It tasted good but with the chicken was ONE stalk of asparagus and one small potato cut into four pieces. Read all the reviews and decide for yourself. I'm doubting the validity of the positive reviews. I would not book at this establishment, save your sanity and pocketbook. read more

Nice venue, horrible service. Please read this before booking with Saleh. My wife and I had our wedding here in August. The venue is beautiful, but the experience was extremely stressful due to disorganization, lack of communication, and unprofessional behavior from the staff and vendors booked through the venue. When we booked, we were encouraged to add services through the venue: DJ, cake, champagne glasses, photo booth, etc. We later found out these were outsourced, and there was very little coordination or accountability. Our food tasting was the first red flag -- we were told to "come hungry" and bring guests, but we were given one plate for six people and the food was cold. The cake was extremely dry, so we canceled it and used the credit elsewhere. Leading up to the wedding, communication was poor. Messages and calls were ignored, and I had to show up in person just to get a meeting. The week of the wedding, we were told to drop off our alcohol early (including a keg needing refrigeration), but there was no clear storage plan. On the day of the wedding, the setup ran late. Family members were told they could check the room in the morning, but security didn't let them in. When we arrived early ourselves, we were also not allowed in. The reception was scheduled to start at 6pm, but guests were not allowed inside until around 6:20. Our guests were lined up outside in the heat, confused and uncomfortable -- and this was embarrassing because we had listed the start time on our invitations based on what the venue told us. Instead of checking the guest list at the entrance, staff only checked IDs for drinking age. This was never communicated and caused more delays. We created a detailed schedule for the DJ with songs for our entrance, first dance, father/mother dances, and the timing of live music. We were told to send it ahead of time -- which we did. However, on the way to the venue, the DJ texted me asking what our first dance song was. It was clear no one reviewed anything. When we walked in for our entrance, the DJ took so long to play the song that we were already standing at the center of the dance floor waiting for our first dance by the time it finally played. We also paid extra for spark and smoke effects during the first dance -- they were never used. After the dance, the on-site manager asked if we wanted to redo the dance just for the effects, even though we were already behind schedule. We declined. When I tried to talk to the DJ to get things back on track, he told me, "Don't talk to me. Talk to the boss." This was extremely disrespectful, especially since we paid for his services. He also played random music that was nothing like what we requested. The vendor table we paid extra for was never set up, which caused confusion among vendors and seating issues. Some guests were even told they couldn't get food, even though the serving time hadn't ended. The only reason the reception didn't completely fall apart was our live band, which we hired independently. They stepped in and took over the music because the DJ clearly wasn't prepared. Ironically, the venue made things difficult for the band -- refusing to allow convenient loading access for their heavy equipment. It felt like the venue punishes you for not using their in-house vendors. We also paid $500-$600 for the photo booth. The setup was extremely basic, and the photo template just said "Welcome to my wedding" in a plain font. We later learned from the photo booth operator (who was kind and professional, and whom we tipped) that he had been called just a few hours before the wedding -- meaning the original booking was never properly arranged. We ordered pizza for the staff and vendors (which Saleh approved in advance and was included in the schedule), but the security guard refused to let the delivery inside. My mother had to knock on the office door where Saleh and the on-site manager had been sitting for most of the night, before the issue was resolved. Lastly, we paid around $400 for an additional bartender, yet throughout the night, there was clearly only one working. We were given repeated excuses, but it was obvious the second bartender we paid for was not consistently present. We spent months planning and saving for this day. We didn't expect perfection -- we only expected the venue to deliver what we paid for and what was promised. Instead, we spent our reception fixing problems that should never have existed. Our wedding day was supposed to be joyful and stress-free, and we cannot get that experience back. The venue is beautiful, but the service, coordination, and professionalism were extremely disappointing. If you are considering hosting your wedding here, please be aware of what you may be walking into. read more

We were forced to wait 60 days for a refund, during which he requested an extension -- then failed to honor it. Every interaction was full of excuses and broken promises. Shafik Saleh's is a scammer. DO NOT BOOK YOUR EVENT HERE. He still owes us money, and MANY other victims. We took him to small claims and even the judge knew who he was. So embarrassing. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE, avoid the headache and stress. Do not believe anything he tells you, he will offer you extensions and promising dates it's all a bunch of lies. Please think twice before booking this venue. What should have been a joyful time turned into a stressful, drawn-out nightmare. Don't let it happen to you. read more

This place is highly unprofessional! If you don't leave a good review, or bend to their will, they will make things difficult for you (see my text exchange). We have been trying to get our video and photos for months, but there was a lot of excuses given as to why we couldn't get them yet. So naturally, we became weary of anything said by this place. So, because we don't live close to this venue, we waited to confirm that the product was in-fact in the hands of Shafik (the owner) rather than taking him at his word and run the risk of taking the long trip with no results (yet again). Once we finally had our date to pick up our product he made us wait longer than the time he had indicated! Then he wanted to negotiate with me to take down the bad reviews before he gave us anything! When I declined he refused to give us what we already paid for! I had to call the police as this is flat out stealing!!! He called security, they came rushing in like they were really going to do something to me. In the end, we got our stuff before the cops arrived (I was really hoping to catch that on video and pictures)! But we sure went through hell to get it! Be very careful, people. He'll try to scapegoat his brother Farid, throw him under the bus to save his own behind! By the way, several people have gone to the media (Univision) to report Saleh's shady business practices they have committed against hardworking Hispanic parents that just wanted a nice party for their daughters! Hey Shafik, we planned this event of ours at least 2 years in advance. We knew you were the one to have our event because once we walked into your little "hideout" and how "low key" it looked from the outside unassuming but yet when walking into your palace, we knew right away this was the place to have our monumental event for our only daughter because of how clean, beautiful and elegant it all looked already with actual FLOORS and no Carpet so we fell in love right away with the elegant aesthetic. So after the easy decision was made, my wife and I were able to communicate how we wanted our party event to look and feel like and Shafik definitely made it easy with constant and transparent communication back and forth. He is always a phone call or text away and especially prior to and during the event, he was so kind to help do the little things like helping print out our drink menu signs, or having constant transparent communication with items he thought would help make our event have an exclamation point period to it and after completing our event, he was right! The whole place was just lavishly elegant, beautiful and stunning and to have all of our guests constantly congratulating us and complimenting us on how great we did with the event, we couldn't have done it without Shafik. So we are forever grateful to your kindness, hospitality and you really made us feel at ease choosing your venue for our only daughter's sweet 16 and you really made us feel like family and all of your staff were very easy to talk to and very kind as well. I recently was a guest at the Whittier location , small hall. My sister held my nephews baptism/ 1st birthday here, I was very impressed with the service received. I was at the location as a guest. The location looks great on the inside. However, there was no air conditioning. This effected the whole event as it was probably 90+ degrees inside for the party. Not sure if hosts of the party knew that there was no AC prior to the event, but floor fans and a few portable AC units did not cool the place down. read more

While looking for a venue for my daughters Quinceañera we stumbled upon Saleh's Palace. This venue is brand new and till the day getting little touch-ups as the owner sees fit, which to me is a plus. Shahik has hands down made my mom feel welcome and heard. From the start he has made appointments for the event planning and he himself shows up does not send a proxy. He's the type of owner that doesn't try and sell you something to make a quick dollar, he gives you options and leaves it up to you to decided. I don't know about you but I personally like that. Im updating my review with Salehs Palace! I initially gave them a 5 star because throughout the process I always got a quick response and they helped me. Rocio was always answering questions and Lily. But now after our event after 4 months, they (Farid, Rocio, Lily and Shafik) keep ignoring my messages about our pictures and video! The photographer can't give me anything because no payment has been given to him by Farid. We are starting out paperwork to take them to small claims and we are filing this upcoming week. I had previously placed a review before my daughter's quince. Now, I would like to share little of the experience we had the day of. I have to say that it was a great experience. From the moment we started organizing days before, to the day of arrival to the time we arrived to the venue. Met Vanessa few days before and she helped me set up my tables as needed and to keep in touch with the last details. Added last minute ideas and she helped me put them in place when I arrived. Appreciate her for answering my text when I had questions. Thanks girl : ) . Severs were great , really polite, nice and did a nice job maintaining the restrooms and tables clean at all times. Security made sure everything was running smoothly and I appreciate that. The helpers cleaning day before and day of all nice people and very helpful. Thanks Shafik and staff for the easy process when coordinating everything and helping with the waltz and surprise dance. Shafik , we did skipped to do the alcohol tasting : | but , someone arranged the drinks at the end so it worked out. This is the most unprofessional establishment I've ever gone to. I attended a friend's quince there last night and was seated near the manager's office. First, the venue doesn't have a sign. Not a huge deal. The building however is divided into two venues. Both sides were booked. However, there isn't enough parking for one side, let alone both sides. So, they offered valet service. But when the lot was full, they turned people away to park on the street in a very densely populated area. I later heard the mom say that the owner never said parking would be limited. At best, the venue has parking for around 50 cars but the one half of the venue can accommodate 400 people??? Next, the venue was not set up in time, leaving several people waiting outside in the heat until they were allowed inside. Then they would only let people in who had a printed invitation. This was not stated in the contract nor were guests told about this. So some people were turned away. Once people were inside, it was HOT. The AC seemed to be on, but it didn't work well at all. Everyone was fanning themselves the entire evening. My daughter was a part of the court and there was a surprise dance scheduled for later in the evening. We had to leave right after the dance. It took the manager over an hour to get the music ready and he refused to answer the mom when she asked when it would be ready. That delayed the evening yet again. And the manager was so rude about it. They also left a large candle feature rack sticking out in the walkway. When the girl walked by it in her big dress, it snagged the dress and came tumbling down on her. The manager also wouldn't give the mom a table for gifts even though she had asked for one in advance. He said he would have to charge extra. A woman at our table had just signed a contract with the venue but said she would cancel it. Also, security was smoking pot outside all evening. WTH? read more

The DJ that we hired from this establishment was horrible. We got told by the owner that he was a professional and we had nothing to worry about. My dad asked if he could get the DJs number and the owner said it's okay he has everything down just give him the list that day. The day of my quince comes around and the party bus was horrible didn't have no water or sodas like promised. Also didn't get the full time we payed for only how 3 hours and 30 minutes instead of the full 4. We get into the venue everything looks good but then when it's time to start the intros for the court the DJ starts playing the wrong songs. Then messed up that whole thing and messed up my night not only that. But he also messed up my WALS song and didn't pause it at the time that he was told. Even after being told right before the song even started. He's was asked about why he didn't pause it and said he was never told. Fast forward to the baby video and the pre video be doesn't know when to stop the song. Also the owner promised to put the video up on the projector and we never got that we only got little screens. Then towards the end of the night when everyone was dancing he didn't know how to keep the vide going he changed the type of songs so much. When we asked the owner what was going on he said that he does not get involved in that even thought he is the one that got us the DJ. That ruined my whole night didn't even get to enjoy what we payed for. We didn't get the service that we payed for so please read this and consider that this could be your event. read more

I am not a picky customer .. it takes a lot of patience for me to give a 1 star but The service is sub standard... the parking is only valet... not alot of space for the car ... they were charging us $150 for napkins, straws and cups. They said it is not included in the package. Food is terrible. It is like PUREED BIRRIA !
