This place was recommended by a friend of mine, since she's been going here for awhile. So we made an appointment and had our hair done at the same day. This time, my friend was not happy with her hair cut, she wanted a light wispy bangs, but the service did not deliver. On my case, I wanted a butterfly cut with face framing. I showed my hair lady what I wanted and she seemed like she knew what she was doing. Side note, I used to get butterfly cut with face framing all the time, so I've watched my old hairstyler do their thaang. She shampooed my hair and did all that stuff.. and when it came to cutting... it was not it. The only thing that she cut was the bottom of my hair and the front part of my hair which was supposed to "give that layers look" but as you can see.. my hair was nowhere near what I wanted it to be.. pretty disappointing. I've lived all over and always travel back to this one place! I moved to this area a year ago and planned on going home this summer to get my hair done by my usual stylist that I've known for almost 15 years as I've always done but thanks to corona I needed a new plan. After researching several salons in the area I came across Salon Amoré and reached out online to get more information. They were super responsive and after a few messages back and forth they booked me for an appointment the next day! When I came in to meet Raquel she was super sweet, friendly, and easy to talk to! It was like I already knew her! Since no one has touched my hair in years aside from one person I had my head set on just getting a trim because I'm picky and I was so nervous, but after talking to her a bit I decided to let her take her vision and give me some layers and angles and try something new. I'm so glad I did! She did an amazing job and I'm so obsessed with how my hair came out I can't stop staring at it!!! I think I'll keep it this way for a while now! The Salon itself is gorgeous as well! The interior is so classy and they have a cute little shop up front for accessories and even some clothes! They also offer a huge variety of services so I'm definitely going to have to try more out there as time goes on! It'll be nice to have a one stop shop for all my beauty needs! I cannot wait to go back I think I've finally found another stylist that's allowed to cut my hair! Which is a huge deal for me! They even had complimentary cookies and coffee in the waiting area. I was given a first time visitor coupon which made the total price of my cut very reasonable ($20 plus I gave my stylist a 25% tip because she was just that good)! Tracy took very good care of me. She was very friendly (we talked the entire time) and she was very knowledgeable so she gave me tips on the layering of hair since I requested it. She took her time to make sure my haircut was straight and exactly the way that I wanted it and when she was finished - I was super happy. Overall, I will come here again and make sure that i request Tracy each time!

The salon was busy with stylists and clients but they said they would work me in. I had some of their free coffee and cookies while I waited for my turn for a full color and style. They were so nice and I could tell by the work they were doing on other clients that they knew what they were doing. Prices were good and they treated me like a person not the next head to cut.
