We were told we had to leave even though we had a confirmation email from them for that site. We were still in the process of finding a new RV Resort (I was literally still on the phone calling around) when it hit 6:00 so they closed the office and left. They had no idea if we even found a place to go. They parked the new people right outside our site to get us to get out faster. They did not care that their error (system or not) displaced us. They did not even attempt to make it right.

At 5pm the pool closes, the clubhouse closes, the office closes, and the public bathrooms and laundry room close. There is no cable TV, unless you live there, and no Wi-Fi, except at the office. If this was just a resort for full time tenants I could understand this, but since it is open for daily camping I think, at the least, the bathrooms should be available 24 hours!

Honestly I was skeptical not being a lover of the humid warm weather weather in Florida but it quickly grew on me. The people in this park felt like family. We made so many friends and the management team Adam , Angie and Dale were always available and keeping the park in tip top shape. We had a lovely back in site (#50) which had a good amount of shade and spacious enough for out 40ft mothorhome and jeep with plenty of room to spare for relaxing, lounging and grilling. There is a beautiful pond in the middle of the park with birds that come and go and and an area to walk your dog . The only thing I would recomend is squeezing a dog park in there somehow ( long enough for dogs to play ball) and maybe a pickle ball court lol! The area is great... if you like to walk or ride bikes there are many beautiful white sand beaches to explore, great restaurants and tons of activities in the area. We'll be back!!!

He and his assistants Dale and Angie are always available, you see them all during the day working, if you need anything they are ready to assist in a super nice way/great attitude! In fact we see Adam all the time, including the weekends, he always asks as he's passing by if everything is okay or if we need anything. The sites are full hookup; the landscape is beautiful; with a nice pool that extends to an undercover pavilion shaded area so we can play cards when we're not in the pool. It's only 0.7 miles from our campsite to the other side of the bridge, to the beach. I love Buttonwood RV Resort so much, I wish I could live here all year long!

It was very reasonable in May…read more I like that these were owners lots and had paved campsites, which were both deciding factors. It was very quiet during the weekend we stayed and maybe only saw 8 people total. I can't really give a higher rating because we didn't spend much time at the resort during the day. We didn't check out any amenities they offered. We were really just there to sleep and then out for the whole day. We did get a site that had dedicated wifi and paid $2 extra per day for it. The front desk kept saying "it should be in your welcome email," but the wifi information wasn't there. They still have it to us, but it was a slight inconvenience. There was also a welcome kit, but since the office is mostly closed on the weekends, we didn't get a chance to grab it and they wouldn't drop it off/leave it at our site.

Sarasota Bay RV Park is on Cortez Road close to the bridge that goes across to Anna Maria Island…read more Wonderful location that is close to the beaches and close to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. We stayed here for a month in February 2021 when we moved down to Florida. The park is older so the roads are very narrow making it hard to back into sites. The sites are an ok width with room to put chairs and relax. The view at most of the sites is just the RVs at the other sites. The park had an outbreak of covid and during the time we got to the park. We really appreciated the park telling us. We had already been staying in a self-isolation of sorts which is easy in your own RV even in a park. This park staff is honest and will let you know what's going on-though, I'm sure some parks would not. We only had one issue during our stay-we had trouble getting our deposit back when we returned the fob for the restrooms and laundry. We did get it mailed to us but it took numerous phone calls and trips to the park. There are a number of amenities available such as pickleball courts, a heated pool, recreation hall, l shuffleboard court and others. There are also activities that you can enjoy. We were here during the Covid-19 pandemic so did not use or do any of these.
