Overall, the name outlet is misleading. There are a handful of true outlet stores in here, the rest, are just regular stores with the same and even higher prices. I suggest you use a phone app such as Shopsavvy, etc, to check prices before you buy. Most likely you are to find a better price online or somewhere else. read more

This place has a pathetic no smoking policy. The signs say no smoking except in designated smoking areas. There are people walking all over the mall smoking, including the food court and all other public places. I will not return here as I witnessed over 25 people smoking and had to breath all that smoking during my 2 hour visit. read more

It is an outlet mall that is pretty clean even though it is always packed... Lots of stores to meet the needs of pretty much anyone...

Full of stores, with friendly sales assistants. Nice parking areas for cars and buses. Enjoyed some shopping and also window shopping. We found the discounts to be awesome. My husband found exactly what he was shopping for and is very pleased with his purchases. read more

Has all of my favorite stores. J.Crew where everything is 50% off for the most part. Gap where it's always good deals. American Eagle. The only thing that's missing is Victoria's Secret. THERE IS GOOD SERVICE, GREAT SERVICE, AND THEN THERE IS "KARA" B#1 06/17 My wife and I live in Pinellas County, but we visited your Bass Outlet store at the Ellenton Outlet Mall in Ellenton, Florida a couple of weeks ago, as we do 3 or 4 times per year. I was "out of luck" in finding the shoes which I wanted to purchase "in house." This made me very disappointed at first, because I come to your store on purpose. I love the inserts which you supply in a couple of your shoe choices. But at the register, I found a true friend in deed. I was very fortunate to bump into your highly skilled manager on duty. Kara ran a search to find out that my shoe choice had been recently discontinued, but she didn't stop there. Kara then ran a search and found out that another store had my two pairs in the size which I needed. She informed me that she could not sell them to me. However, she said that she could sell me a gift card for the exact same amount of the transaction, plus a $10 shipping charge. She then called the selling store and set up the whole transaction over the phone. The whole process was rather lengthy, for a person running the cash register. Therefore, Kara had to call somebody else up to run the other register twice during the transaction, because I was taking up much of her time. Her kind approach to the whole transaction was mind boggling. In a "day and age" when the quality of service seems to be very badly strained, Kara is one of the "keys" to EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. This other store shipped them to me and they arrived on Tuesday when the transaction was done on Friday evening, which is the best that I could have hoped for. I noticed that the receipt came in the other store's address. What that told me, was that Kara set up the whole transaction with no hope of credit to her store or to herself. I realized that all of Kara's time and effort was simply an act of UNSELFISH KINDNESS. She has earned my continued loyalty. Kara taught me a lesson on maintaining a great relationship with customers. Parking can be an issue if it's the weekend so I recommend going right when they open or closer to the end of the day. Great selection of shops and perfect location however the only thing that is challenging and during the holidays down right frustrating is parking. I live close and frequent the outlets and have had a few experiences where I couldn't find a parking spot and decided to go somewhere else after 20 minutes of driving around. They should think about expanding to accommodate the increased number of people/growth to this area. read more

This is my second favorite outlet mall. I love the off 5th, kate spade, coach, escada, hartstrings for this kids, gymboree outlet, ann taylor outlet , and so many more. I always plan a stop when I am out and about. My shopping buddy and I have to keep the day open because we spend a lot of time in this place. If you are a true shopper you find deals. Not all the stores have deals but most do. Just be ready for lots of walking. read more

Worked at this mall in Factory Brand Shoes, which is not there anymore, as well as alot of stores. The mall is nice, because its outside. Outlet Mall I think is another word for a mall that just has lots of sales. Pirces are normal, but the stores are usually always offering sales. The COach Outlet here is amazing. Awesome purses at great prices. Of course when theres a sale going on. They have alot of empty stores, that I wish they would fill. Charming Charleys would be awesome down here. The food court is ok, it could be a little bigger, and have more common food places, than what they offer. Food is decent. Like going here, but only if I'm already going to be up there for something. read more

Great selection of stores and awesome deals. This is a must-go destination at least every couple of months and I've never left empty handed. Other than the height of the summer, it's great to walk around since it's outdoors. Starbucks is the best place to eat as their food court is not good. read more

I love this place. Many of the stores aren't "outlets" to me, as their prices are often just as high or higher than the regular stores, so you actually have to shop around. However, I was able to find some GREAT deals for my kids, and when I went there to do back to school shopping, I was able to get their clothes for under $200. The food court is OK, nothing to write home about. read more

I went to this Express on Sunday around 10am. A young male and 2 females were talking at the registers. I was never greeted even after I purposely stood right in front of them. Another customer asked to try on leggings off a mannequin. The manager actually told her no! I was baffled that she went on to say that it would take her too long to redress the mannequin. Customer service please!! At least smile and say hi. I left empty handed as their personal conversations continued. read more

Whoever said an outlet mall was a place to find good deals lied. This one is a traffic nightmare and that is just for starters. Since apparently it is the only place left in FL that allows smoking all the outside areas are a cloud of toxic ashtray smoke and you can't walk 2 feet without being in someone's exhaust. The stores are nice and there is a good variety but there are no deals to be found here. The same prices apply here as you can find in any store. The only upside is all the brands have their own stores so it is easy to find what you are looking for. The stores are notoriously understaffed and I was even told by someone in the Reebok store that I would have better luck shopping online and I would probably get a better price. Well gee-whiz I could have saved a miserable afternoon by turning on my computer rather than driving 30 minutes to this cigarette smoke infused nightmare. Now I didn't go into every store and to be fair there may be deals to be had for the thrifty shopper but I will spare myself in the future and go to the mall or shop online because this was a terrible experience. read more

It's 2 days before Christmas and they have NO decorations or lights on the outside. Very few stores have Christmas decorations up and they're playing horrible rap music or nothing at all. The Ellenton Mall has ZERO Christmas Spirit. You get a Bah Humbug one star. read more

ladies beware. do not put your handbag on the hook in the ladies room. i was robbed yesterday, the thief grabbed my handbag took my wallet and stole $240.00 and my amex card. i was lucky the through down my handbag and the empty wallet, and no one was physically hurt. i reported the robery to the sheriffs office. ellenton premium outlets are really nice, just need to be careful. i rated three due to my bad experience. read more

i don't know why I always try to get to Orlando when this one is so close and not nearly as crazy as O-Town! The only thing I wish they had additionally was Victoria's Secret and maybe more sneaker places. I only visited a handful of shops yesterday but here's the customer service breakdown based on going to buy a new 'grown up' purse and redeem a Fossil gift card. Coach and Michael Kors employees very pleasant and accommodating! Both had multiple employees offer to help me look and unstuff bags to test out, and remembered me when I returned. Kate Spade was just fantastic - I was talking to one of the girls for a good 15 minutes while shopping and trying out options and ultimately I ended up buying my purse there. Dooney could definitely learn a thing there. I walked into a nearly empty shop with 5 awkwardly placed (mostly older) employees standing around barely croaking out a 'hello'. I walked around and of course WAS interested in one bag and tried it out, walked around, modeled with it - obviously trying to get someone's attention. One of the employees did walk back and I thought was going to offer me assistance... but no, she was looking at the bag next to me to 'get a price'. She was being so awkward about it though I honestly felt like she was just checking to make sure I wasn't shoplifting or something as I was unstuffing the bag to try it out. Not even 20 seconds later she came back to check that purse again?! Oh okay, just ignore me then. Finally I was so aggravated with the employees milling around and not suggesting/offering/SAYING anything that I walked out and went back to Kate Spade and Coach. I ended up telling the ladies there and they agreed - apparently D&B has a bad rep for that. After my large purchase at KS I walked by the DB window very slowly with my big bag in their view... I kind of wanted to pull a Pretty Woman and ask if they worked off commission because they just irritated me. Now FOSSIL! Stellar. Amazing. It took a few minutes to get someone to help but the first girl was so helpful in trying on bunches of watches and telling me that this outlet had Michael Kors too! OH YES! She handled my indecisiveness and then politely switched off with another young lady when she had to handle the cash register. Both of these girls were so sweet and had good sound logic when choosing a watch. They were honest and I wish the Brandon mall Fossil had these girls! I'll be visiting Ellenton again just because of all the pleasant staff and non-hecticness like Orlando. read more
