Airport Urgent Care is the closest urgent care location to my home, and since my husband had a good…read moreexperience there in May 2010, I decided to go see Dr. Okoro this past weekend to address my persistent cough. The waiting room seems cramped and dark, but has ample seating. Since I had new patient paperwork to fill out, my 25-minute wait didn't seem so long. (Despite the detailed info I gave on that initial form, I was asked about my medical history by the nurse and by Dr. Okoro afterward, leading me to believe that they barely glanced at my chart.) The nursing staff are pleasant and personable, and eager to make brief small talk to make their patients' visit more tolerable. Dr. Okoro himself is a quirky character with an accent that is sometimes hard to follow; between my husband and myself, though, we managed to understand everything we needed to know. Dr. Okoro does seem to know his business, although it's unusual and just a little disconcerting to hear the doctor talking aloud to himself while deciding on a prescription: "You'll probably need an antibiotic... but which one?" Overall, I was satisfied with the level of service I received from Dr. Okoro and his staff. Next time I have a non-life-threatening medical issue to address, I will most likely go back to Airport Urgent Care.

She was helpful, empathetic, thorough, and kind from the very first call to be scheduled, to meeting her in person--she helped me to be seen in a timely manner as well, which is greatly appreciated. Dr. Oostra's assistant Jason was kind and thorough as well. Dr. Oostra was so nice... He was great at explaining things, addressing concerns, and answering questions. You can tell he has a love for what he does in his chosen profession and that he's compassionate and cares about not only what he does but also his patients too. I would definitely recommend this practice if you are looking for a hematologist or have been referred here--even if you're just checking out reviews to see if this practice is a good choice... She has been my families primary care provider since I was a little girl, and before that, her father was. She now sees my husband and my three little ones, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Dr. Marshall is incredibly knowledgeable, and does everything she can to provide answers to medical issues or questions in a very timely manner. The staff at this location has always been wonderful, and treat our family like friends rather than patients. I am always in awe of this physicians office and all of its staff. They operate like a well oiled machine! Never late for appointment times, responsive on every contact method. We love Dr. Marshall, and all of the nurses and staff at this office. When I had my twins, I was drowning in post partum and did not realize that I was. At the first appointment when released from the NICU, Dr. Marshall checked over my boys, and immediately turned her attention to me... even though it wasn't my appointment. She sat with me and spoke to me like a human being, and talked me through a few things. I am forever grateful for that. She takes the time to know her patients, and knows when something is off. This has been my family doctor for over 20 years. I love Dr Emch but can never get in to see her…read more Dr Facey is kind of rude but Dr Vogel is nice. Sometimes, though, you just want to see your regular doc. It's literally been years...I don't go regularly, but still it's like playing the Dr roulette every time you call. Besides that, I recommend you really know what your insurance covers before going there. The people who work in the lab are well known for mixing up samples that are supposed to be sent out for diagnosis with the ones that are covered being done in the office. My insurance doesn't cover promedica drawing blood, taking X-rays, etc., so I need to go to St. Anne's to have it done even though my visits are covered there. It took getting multiple random bills over a few years before a nurse finally explained to me that actually it's their mistake when I get charged for it, someone just opted to do it in the lab instead of sending it out...but good luck getting your money back from a medical practice. I mean, those poor doctors hardly make any money at all! Especially considering the last few times I've had to settle for a nurse's aide (I have been misdiagnosed the last few times so I will tell them no, that's not ok, next time).
