Not a bad place to indoor boulder and for the Groupon deal of $28 for 2 weeks, you really cant beat…read morethat! Staff are super nice, helpful and welcoming. From the person on the phone to the guy who got me all checked in. I think I have been spoiled by being in some of the best climbing gyms all over so at this point in my climbing journey, I have some comparisons. The entire place felt a bit dated and could use a face-lift. It reminds me of PRG back in Phoenix. Women's locker room needs a code to get in and its just really bare bones. Lots of lockers for your use (bring a lock), some showers available but its no frills. This place doesn't have air con and it was hot to climb today. I was sweating a good amount but did clear some V3s, so that was cool! I like climbing when its bit cooler so my hands aren't sweaty. There are two climbover walls and another small wall in the back. The thing is you are also sharing space with top ropers, etc , so the space felt very cramped. But, with that said, lots of good route settings and I enjoyed figuring out some routes and did enjoy climbing over to the top. There are also yoga clases here M-Th at 7pm and some fitness machines. Easy parking outside which is a bonus. Ill come back again and even without groupon, but likely I wont get a membership to this place. Im still doing a lot of research on what I want in a climbing gym. I have a hard time committing to something when I have tried other stuff that I like better. Its like if you try on clothes at the store and the outfit you came in still looks better, dont buy those new clothes...

If you're thinking about hiking Mount Woodson trail aka the famous Potato Chip Rock--just know…read more.. your legs are about to file a formal complaint. This hike is a little over 7 miles (round trip) and definitely on the "hard but worth it" side, with steady climbs, and rocky steps that will have you questioning "who's idea was this?" For trail details, I'd suggest checking out Alltrails before you go. Things to know: the trailhead starts at Lake Poway Recreation Area and there's a $10 entrance fee. Weather can be unpredictable--our hike started wet and ended sunny, so dress smart. Bring plenty of water, good shoes with traction, and a snack to reward yourself at the top (you earned it). The trail is fairly well marked, but pro tip: take pics at each fork unless you enjoy "bonus miles" on the way down. At the summit, expect a line to snap that iconic photo. And yes--you'll need to do a tiny "jump" onto the rock... which suddenly turns very intimidating when it's your turn. Some people bail, but it's totally doable. Challenging, a little chaotic, and 100% one of my favorite hikes. Your calves won't forgive you--but your camera roll will.

I know this trail as potato chip rock!…read more We started the hike at 730am, ended at 11 All incline! There are a couple portable bathrooms along the trail. Beautiful view of the lake. Beautiful view of all SD on a clear day! Once you make it to the top you can take a picture on the chip! It's a little scary, but worth it just to say you did it! There's a 10 dollar parking fee. Bathrooms are clean. It's a very diverse park with lots to do!

We absolutely love this gym! MyGym has such a positive, welcoming environment for kids of all ages…read more The staff is incredibly patient, encouraging, and truly cares about each child's growth--both physically and emotionally. The classes are well-structured, fun, and keep the kids engaged while building confidence, strength, and coordination. You can tell the coaches are passionate about what they do, and they make every child feel supported and celebrated. As a parent, it's so reassuring to know my child is in a safe, clean, and uplifting space. I highly recommend this gym to any family looking for a place where their child can learn, grow, and have fun at the same time!

I brought my child as a guest to a birthday party here! Can I just say, WOW!…read more The two party hosts handle EVERYTHING! Set up? Check. Safety? Check. Games? Check. Food handling? Check. Fun???? CHECK! It was such a fun experience for the kiddos AND parents (as the parents were able to mingle while the children played)! They started with the guests coming in playing with all the equipment then went into several structured but such fun games then paused for food and cake! They served everything and made sure kids were content the whole time! Then continued for more games & ended with zipline! Energy was great, they were funny & performative yet held control of the way the party ran with such professionalism. I cannot wait to have my child's party here!
