The airport is clean, has a pet restroom (never seen this before), multiple lounges, restaurants and stores. Two places stood out: Brookstone: For memorial day they had a "happy memorial day" flyer and giving free soda to active duty and veterans. I am personally not a fan of saying happy memorial day. Also, the day is not about celebrating current military. It's to remember those that have fallen. Anyways, thought it was unnecessary they were giving away soda and 40% off. We didn't participate. The blanket we purchased for the plane ride was super soft! Be relax: OMG! Those prices were insane. I didn't snap a photo bc the girl was hovering as I talked it through with my husband. I believe 15 minutes was $60. Smh! In relation to massages, if you are at IAH and near gate D5 (down a few gates from be relax,) , you can get a wonderful massage chair session. The chair was $5 for 15 minutes. It massaged your head, back, and legs. It was great after a 3 hour flight. I will use the airport again!

The terminals are spread out, but signage and the internal train system make it manageable to move between them without too much confusion. Security and check-in flow can vary by terminal and time of day, but overall the airport is fairly organized for the volume it handles. Once airside, there are plenty of gate areas with seating and charging access, and boarding is usually well coordinated. Food and retail options are broad, with a mix of national chains and some local Houston options, though quality and pricing can be inconsistent depending on the terminal. Some areas feel more modern than others, but improvements and renovations are noticeable in multiple sections of the airport. One unexpected standout is how much there is to explore for anyone who plays Pokémon GO. Between the number of terminals, stops, and general layout density, it's arguably one of the better U.S. airports for gameplay, with plenty of time and space to move around during layovers. Overall, it's a large but functional airport that does a solid job connecting passengers through a major international gateway, with the added bonus of being unusually good for Pokémon GO players during long waits.

George Bush Airport is a big airport…read more Terminal C is a big terminal. There is a lot of walking involved. You need to know where you're going in case you have a tight layover and need to run for your life to the gate where your connecting flight departs. But interior-wise and food-wise, the airport has a tremendous amount of options in a visually aesthetically pleasing environment. If you are flying out of Houston at George Bush or connecting with a flight that is taking you either west or east, you could do a lot worse than George Bush Airport. There are plenty of options to camp until your next flight. Just make sure you know where you're going so you don't fall into a trap and miss your flight. Fortunately, that hasn't happened to us, but it could if you're not careful. Word.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at baggage claim in Terminal C around 9:30 PM…read moretonight. The older woman working the baggage service desk was less than helpful and unnecessarily confrontational. When I asked for assistance regarding my checked bag after changing to an earlier flight, she told me it was "my job to know the baggage rules" and that she didn't want to help because she didn't want to risk getting fired. She stated, "United is looking for ways to fire the older people," which was both unprofessional and concerning. I'm just needing help with my families bags. She continued on and on how I should know the fine print before switching the flights and there's nothing she can do, which seemed like a cop out for being lazy. Earlier, United gate agents in SLC had asked for volunteers to move to an earlier flight due to delays out of Salt Lake City. We were told our bags would make the flight and, if not, they would be delivered. Based on that information, we agreed to switch flights. At baggage claim, instead of helping resolve the situation, she criticized how I keep my claim tickets stickers stuck on the back of my passport wallet. I store them on the back of my passport wallet (not on my passport itself), and I had to show her this after she questioned me about it saying it wasn't allowed on the passport. Why this was even a conversation I'm not sure, but I'm a seasoned traveler. I ultimately called customer service myself, and within 10 minutes they arranged luggage delivery without issue. United, if customer service is truly a priority, this is not the standard that should represent your baggage service team. Makes me want to cancel both our credit cards and fly a different airline.

As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell Again.

I was so confused to which airport it was ! I approached the Southwest counter to inquire and a rude staff response was very unpleasant to hear!!! So far this was the first in so many travels that I have encountered a rude staff behind the counter! A very sharp tone of voice and without even making eye contact !
