Avoid this place! Dr. Neil took it upon himself to shave down my upper right molars without my…read moreconsent, claiming it would help my teeth "glide better." As a result, my night guard now pinches my gums on the left side, causing me severe pain and sleepless nights. To make matters worse, the $500 night guard now needs to be remade because of the adjustments. **Full Story:** I began seeing Dr. Neil after moving to the area and experiencing TMJ issues, including teeth grinding and flare-ups. He suggested an occlusal adjustment (shaving parts of my teeth to prevent them from grinding together) and referred me to Dr. Richards for a consultation. Dr. Richards charged me $650 out of pocket just for a visit, only to recommend treatments totaling around $4,600. She was very pushy and guilt-tripped me into agreeing, but I researched her suggestions and found that they were most likely ineffective and could even worsen my TMJ. She also advised against the occlusal adjustment due to the potential risks. During these appointments, Dr. Neil started shaving down my UPPER right molars (when the filling that needed to be shaved down was on the BOTTOM right side) without asking for consent or explaining in detail why he was doing this before placing the tools in my mouth. As he was already working on my teeth, he explained that this would help my teeth "slide better" and reduce pain from the filling. I felt unable to stop him while my mouth was open and he was working with tools. Now, much of my upper right molars are gone. As a result, my night guard no longer fits properly, severely pinching my gums and teeth on the left side. I wake up in intense pain, unable to sleep. If I don't wear the night guard, I risk damaging my teeth. **In Summary:** Throughout my time here, I've had multiple billing issues, been charged for things I was only told about mid treatment or treatments that did not happen. While Dr. Neil is personable and accommodating with last-minute appointments, I've ended up in worse shape than when I started. Ultimately, I trusted him as a professional, but that trust led to more harm than good. It's probably my fault for continuing to return, but I believed he had my best interests in mind and maybe he truly did.

I'll admit. I hate going to the dentist. So much so that I took a 12 year sabbatical from visiting…read more Don't do that. It cost a boatload of money, and a lot of dental work to bring me back to healthy. If you're in the same boat now, bite the bullet and go. You'll thank me later. There is no other dental practice I'd trust with the scope of work they did, and since then, the preventative measures to make it never happen again. I'm just back from another stellar cleaning done by the wonderful Michelle. She's part hygienist, part therapist. It's great to chat with someone, as hard as that may be during a dental procedure, who listens and empathizes with my petty concerns. She is very gentle and attentive to how I'm reacting to whatever is being done. If my feet are squirming, she knows something is bothering me and adjusts. Drs Shawn and Jon are also pleasant during the after cleaning checkup. Dr Shawn was the one who brought my smile back after all those years of neglect. Great job too, it's been many years now and everything is still holding up fine. They may not be the cheapest dentist, but you get what you pay for and I'm still smiling!

Fast forward beyond my regular scheduled cleanings and I hear the word "crown". Panic, sweat, fear all the usual anxiety provoking thoughts. I finally bite the bullet, so to speak, and schedule it for this morning. Dr. Sean Zahner and his assistant Carey treat me with the utmost understanding and respect. Nitrous oxide, blanket, sunglasses, sound eliminating headphones tuned to my favorite Pandora station put me in my Zen place. I got my crown placed and the best I can say, from my perspective, is tolerable...which in the average world is phenomenal. Thank you Dr. Sean and staff for getting me through a difficult time in the best possible way.

Dr. Grillo is friendly and explains things very well. I've had extensive work done here and I've been incredibly pleased every time. It is unfortunate they are out of network with Anthem but they still cover some basic services. I love this office!

I need a lot of dental work because of my medical history. In a few short months Dr Grillo has done 5 crowns for me. I love that he's quick, painless and really smart. He has an onsite lab so I left with permanent crowns every time - NO temps needed here! But my best experience of all was last night and this morning. I broke a crown in my front top last night (Thursday). Their office is closed Fridaysvabd it's Labor Day weekend. I called the office Thursday after hours, pressed "0" for emergencies and Dr Zack Grillo picked right up. Long story short, we met at his office Friday morning and 2 hours later I had a new, beautiful crown and am ready for the holiday weekend. Can't say enough about Dr Grillo's skill, tact and professionalism. Great practice all round including ing front desk, hygienist and the dentists here. I'd give 6 or 7 stars but 5 is the limit!!
