TERRIBLE. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Nothing is luxury like it states. I just moved in 3 days ago, and I have had so many problems with this apartment and their management. First, it took us nearly a month to get approved because they messed up with our applications. Meanwhile, we kept coming to the office more than 7 times to try to meet the manager for our application's status because they never picked up the phone or actively contact applicators. It delayed our move-in day so we had to sign the lease with a higher rent rate than what we applied in our application. During the whole process, we never receive any apologies from the management team. They are so unprofessional and their service is low rate not as "luxury apartment" service. Secondly, this is our fourth day living here and there are cracks on bedroom's windows causing leaking today because of rain. This soaks our mattress and the floor carpet. We called the office and submit urgent request immediately but nobody comes. The worst thing is that we find a review of the same unit on google. They experienced the same issues like us, and nothing got fixed until they left. This means that the maintenance couldn't fix the problem in this unit.And now we move in and suffer. Also, we moved in the unit without a proper key. They gave us the key that couldn't lock the door. There are broken wardrobes, walls and ceiling lights. Just 4 days but we see bugs, insects and flies in the house although door is closed. We are very upset and frustrated now. If the owner of this property can see my review, hope they can give us a proper solution cause this is a really bad experience as a new resident. My turn ‍ , I know they hate to see me coming . Lived here for two years and I'm barely writing my review cause I was waiting for my deposit to come back to me which that in itself took 2 months and Karley in the office wanted to have a attitude everytime I came in , just run me my money I was owed? 1st , this place is extremely over priced and a manager never stays longer then 6 months as I'm sure they get over whelmed with how terrible this place is. This place has roaches for one , you won't notice them for a few months as they spray before you move in but slowly they start creeping out til it's a full fledge nightmare. I can't say too much regarding my first year as me and the manager at the time had serious beef and I just stopped calling on them all together. The only reason I stayed a second year was Due to a new manager starting promising A lot of fixer-upper's. I downsize from my two bedroom apartment which was "luxury" to a one bedroom which should've been also. However upon moving in not all the appliances were not the upgraded versions and it seems they didn't fix anything from the previous tenants. I'll insert photos but wood was split on the sides , things falling off the hinges etc. also there was a spot in the dinning area that a square of the vinyl floor was coming up which they sent a man (not in uniform nor did they inform me he was coming) to come fix it , after a lot of back and forth confirming he worked for the apts he took out the bottom drawer from the stove cut a piece of square from there and put it in the empty spot ? Not to mention this complex was FILLED with dead and broken trees that constantly fell and broke if the wind blew a little to hard. Which fell on my car. The complex said they weren't liable and yet still refused to let me have info for the higher ups. Per Arlington apartment association apartments are liable for the upkeep of the property and sent out the city to take a look at it all. Not surprised they cut down the trees shortly after . Let's see what else .. when working on the unit above me they messed up a pipe and it began raining in my apartment (this was day of the rangers parade when they won) i ran to the office and they didn't send somebody for over a hour and acted as if I was a inconvenience to them. When finally somebody did come I asked what they were going to do about the water spots / if it was gonna cause mold etc and the maintenance man said they would just paint over it when it dried .. HELLO??? This also led to me coming home at night the next few days with my water being turned off. There's literately so many things I can go on n on n on about this property and how much I hate it with a deep passion but I feel this'll suffice. Just a over priced apartment with minor renovations with a landlord special. To add another thing this complex has rats I forgot to mention before posting this. I opened the vent to change the air filter when I first moved to the 1br and a bunch of rat shit fell out. I went to management regarding this and they gave me traps and poison to put in the duct.. First let me say that these apartment are absolutely gorgeous .. very spacious, and very quiet no matter the day or time you go there . I put in my application over 2 weeks ago.. Today Is 4/1/25 is officially week 3.. Now they do have a young man they just hired who is an absolute peach, very professional, dresses very nice, great communication skills. Very young. But absolutely great who showed me my apartment.. I have yet to get any phone calls or emails regarding the status of my application.. 2 times of the many calls I have made I spoke to the young man he stated that they sent emails and stated he will ask Judy to call me ...No calls or emails.. I left message all week last week. Multiple times on my break on my lunch. My work hours are 9:45 am to 6 :15 pm so they are closed when I go to work and when I get off. On week 2 Monday I sent them the information for my night job via email. Was never told whether they received it or not. And still after multiple messages still not even a text message, email or even smoke signals.. absolutely nothing . However they do have that text option at least per their voice mail . But they are very quick to take the application fee . Now when I try to log back in check onthe status of my application it advised me I am unable to start a new application.. Which is not what I want to do. I am trying to check on the status of my current one . It's Tuesday morning week 3.. no updates, still no emails, no voicemails and no smoke signals.. So I will continue to provide a day to day update this week . Now I understand they have made some employee changes last week.. Very rude customer service when I had complaints. I went to look at the apartments they told me to go look at a model apartment that was refurnished redone, painted and fixed and they told me that I can't go to my apartment that I was going to lease to look at it at all!!!! which I first I thought was really strange but I didn't give him much thought. As soon as I paid only then, did they give me the keys to go look at the apartment and with a smile they gave me papers to write down what was wrong with the apartment. Thieves. so I went to look at my apartment and I was very dissatisfied. They did tell me it was a classic apartment, but on top of that they told me that they repainted it and fixed the things that were broken and it looks brand new.. lies the apartment looks like they just threw a spray paint can that blew up and the other thing that they did was just change the carpet. I found bolts on corners of the apartment, ripped carpet from under the trim, cracks of dry paint everywhere in the corners of the wall. Dusty vents, dusty AC unit, wood chips from under the counter of kitchen and bathroom, nothing is refurnished. The shelves are all crooked. There's stains on top of the ceiling and on the wall by the vent. there's holes in the wall that are just painted over not even fixed! And worst of all is the bathroom, the ceiling is crooked and the sides by the shower is just foamed or silicon and painted over extremely crappy and the mirror in the bathroom is scratched up and rusted and some of the outlets are crooked or loose. There's two windows, one in the room and one in the dining room, and both of them are cracked in the corners, on top of that both of them are loose. the shelves inside the closet of the bedroom they're also bent the floors in the kitchen have indents made into it MADE BY WHOEVER WAS PUTTING THE FRIDGE. and also in the dining room right by the door the floor is scratched up. The nets in the window is ripped I am completely dissatisfied and the management told me on top of that that they had warned me that it had these problems. THEY DIS NOT TELL ME THIS. They didn't even allow me to go look at it before I bought the apartment. They had a whole remodeled apartment for me to look at to buy me. I got cheated out of my money. I want my money back! I want to be reimbursed and I want to break the lease. Do not recommend on renting here when I kindly came to the office, cut out my time from work left a day early to come to the office and tell my complaints, my problems and what I saw, all they did was called the Manager and the guy that fixes things, and had the manager be extremely rude to me. I did not appreciate that at all. In fact, that was very poor customer service. And extremely low of them, they just dismissed me. There is so many potholes btw, and the dumpsters are trashed up. There's homeless people leaving carts! most of the people around here seem very upset and always have an upset look on their face. The only thing remodeled here was the office. Good evening! I stay at Elliot Windsprint and I have a few concerns that I've listed to the property management on site. However, they have not been helpful and quite rude. whenever I stated my concerns. I've only stayed at the property for a week, but after this week, I can tell you that I am extremely displeased with my experience so far and it's very unlikely i will be renewing the lease. Upon getting the unit, it was not ready or clean. There was trash left in the apartment, there was a stove left on the patio, the refrigerator, stove, and one of the kitchen cabinets are not leveled , there is a huge gap in the window in the bedroom, which we cannot close, the door to the bathroom is missing, the garbage disposal is broken, the dishwasher is broken, we still haven't got our mail keys, we were not able to register one of our cars, despite stating that we had two cars on the lease, and when we brought this to the management attention, I was cut off and management made a comment about the residents in the community not being able to follow clear directions and stated that my problem was my fault. Despite multiple attempts to get in contact with management to get the situation figured out as a new resident in the past five days none of emails or calls have been returned. The property manager in the office did a terrible job at exemplifying customer service, empathy, and even implied that every problem I stated was my fault despite me never talking to her and just moving in. She was extremely dismissive, rude, portrayed poor resolution skills, and attempted to walk away multiple times during the conversation, despite me still sitting down. Moreover, I asked the property manager for the contact information for her boss to which she responded "there is no one above her" and smirked. Furthermore, I was extremely respectful when speaking to the property manager, and in the same attitude was not returned instead, I was rushed out of the office and had to come back a few minutes later to speak to someone else to have my questions answered. Since moving in I've noticed many residents coming in and her being extremely dismissive to all of them in a short time. Finally, my last problem is the lease that was signed is incorrect. They sent us two different leases, because Our unit was changed three times prior to our move-in date; however they both are incorrect and have incorrect charges on them. I'd give ZERO Stars if possible. Stay awake from this place. Ownership company, birchstone properties, is a joke. On-site management is an even bigger joke. The manager is never at the complex, she is always "unavailable". Assistant manager doesn't know squat and makes up things, like claiming she is allergic to everything so she doesn't have to go into anyone's unit. She didn't even know the definitions of key terms used by leasing agents country wide. Then the so called leasing agent is just outright lazy. She actually had the nerve to tell my wife to "just break your lease" when my wife when to discuss a roach problem. Why is she still employed here? All of the so called upgrades have never been completed. They did one building, which while it happens to be the building we live in, and it was only half done. They painted the front of the building, but not the back, despite three contractors coming out, and simply redoing the same paint job all 3 times. All of the other so called upgrades were done in the office building, so the lazy staff could sit around in more comfort and rip off tenets and force people to live in slum lord conditions. Just look at the pictures posted already. Arlington code enforcement is here weekly as it is. This place is a basically a crime scene waiting to happen. read more
