At first glance, the size of the event appears small, but the more you keep walking the further back it goes. When you walk in they have the horse stables and you immediately notice the MSU dairy store mobile ice cream stand. I Highly recommend trying if you've never had there ice cream. As you proceed to walk, there is the grandstand which charges $5for admission, or you can stand from afar and watch for free. The initial food stands you see when you walk in are your typical fair food type of treats. There is fried everything along with pizza, hotdogs, and various drinks. Towards the front is where the beer garden is. Once you get towards the back, there are all the animals, games, and various booths. This was a great local fair. Plenty to do, see, and spend time with family and friends!

On a fair Saturday afternoon, I did venture forth with my daughter and her beau, seeking merriment and sport upon the greens. Alas, what we found was naught but frustration and woe. The tee boxes, uneven and askew, did cause many a ball to veer off course from the very start. Though the greens were mostly fair, the holes themselves were in a sorry state, with broken or missing flags on all but two of the eighteen. The signs that should guide us were shattered, and the spinners that add challenge were but broken relics of their former selves. Twice did our balls become ensnared within the obstacles, and on the sixteenth hole, a dozen players before us did halt their play, for their balls were trapped and would not release until I, with great effort, did free them from their prison. Our complaints to the attendant were met with indifference, as though she were not paid enough to care for our plight. The arcade, a cacophony of noise, did drive us away from further games, and the cost of nine dollars for such a course seemed a grievous overcharge. Verily, I say unto thee, I shall not return to this place of discontent unless I hear tell of new management or grand improvements. Thus ends my tale of woe. I will continue to take them each year! my only suggestions, trying not to make it a complaint, is the lack of direction in the parking lot. Also, making wands available with online ticket purchase. It is not clear to the patrons until they start through the trails. Lastly, entrance to trail is not necessarily monitored, and several folks were walking in with entire families and no tickets were checked. not completely surprised but disappointing when we paid $25.00 per adult and $15.00 per child to enter. I highly doubt that any kids or adults shoes would go missing in this environment but to avoid any situation be smart don't bring expensive designer brand shoes and get upset that you can't find a locker to put them in. Hundreds of alligators. And you know what...you can buy some Gator food and throw it to them! Ever see a group of alligators go after a fish nugget? I have. Amazing! The staff are great and care about what they do. It's not a zoo. It's a sanctuary. They've got gators from baby up to Godzilla. The staff really care about these rescued animals and want you to know about them, too. I got to hold a big turtle. Feed some gators. And I saw a frog jump into a gator mouth. Amazing.
