The most recent ones accurately represent folks' experiences. This was the venue for a family wedding, because it was inexpensive, but it is minimally maintained. The wedding was beautiful only because we showed up with leaf blowers and work gloves the day before. The property manager was nonresponsive when we reached out about the green swimming pool and broken grills with no gas tanks. When we finally got hold of her, the day after the wedding, she would not take responsibility for the appalling state of the property. The property manager double booked the venue and that meant our 200 guests were not allowed to use the public bathrooms. Indeed, they were reprimanded by the maintenance folks. So all of those guests had to use folks' motel room bathrooms. Needless to say, the rooms ran out of toilet paper and folks had to use napkins . The maintenance gal was ineffective, except she did get gas tanks for the grills when we requested them and removed the rotting chicken on one of the grills. Communication with the folks representing this venue was appalling. Get a contract for what you need and be explicit. We hesitated to do a Yelp review as we filed complaints with the Consumer Protection area of the Michigan Attorney General's office and the Lenawee County Health Dept, in hopes that no one else would be misled by the VRBO listing or website. The AG office did nothing, still awaiting word from the Health Dept. So we had to resort to social media to let other consumers know to beware. The ride operators, friendly and not face deep in their phones ( there was one) however none were too busy to stop and check the customers for safety whether it be checking their height or double checking their safety restraint they all did great. And finally my last ride of the night despite not feeling well I allowed my son the drag me to the swinging pirate ship that I have rode a lot throughout my life, but ultimately experienced projectile vomiting. Fortunately I was able to direct it to my foot area and chest. However the attendant, a young man was able to here my fellow passengers and stopped the ride quickly. Now I work as an Advanced EMT on an ambulance for over tens years and have been in contact fluids, I felt so bad because I knew what was ahead for the young man, however as I stumbled off the ride holding my face in embarrassment and disgust he looked me in the eyes and apologized, which blew my mind. The soup was the weird thing. It was 94 degrees outside and we got soup. Maybe that was our fault but that was an option and I guess we took it. Food was mid at best. Enough to be full but not very good. The bar was open to us for draft beer and beer in the freezer. I got a blue moon on tap and it was not good. Tasted and smelled fishy. So I gave up drinking it after a few sips. The place is dark. And it was well air conditioned. Lots of big couches and random tables and chairs throughout. They have a lot of video type games and foozball and hockey tables tops. All cost. So bring $1's. Whirly ball was fun. I have to say. Playing with my coworkers was a blast. However. The bumper cars were dirty and smelly. Looked like they hadn't been washed in awhile. The catchers were raggedy and we crushed 1 ball. And it is hot. The air conditioner in the bar is not on the whirly ball court so it gets super hot. And your active so now your hot and sweaty. Then the bumper car is filthy and smelly and not maintained. My seatbelt came out of the seat. That's safe. I am not sure how often they clean and maintenance these bumper cars but it doesn't seem like they do. Gross! The score reflects the fact I had a good time with my co workers but the place itself is kinda dirty and smelly. I guess you have to weigh your fun and good time to disinfecting yourself when you get home.

At first glance, the size of the event appears small, but the more you keep walking the further back it goes. When you walk in they have the horse stables and you immediately notice the MSU dairy store mobile ice cream stand. I Highly recommend trying if you've never had there ice cream. As you proceed to walk, there is the grandstand which charges $5for admission, or you can stand from afar and watch for free. The initial food stands you see when you walk in are your typical fair food type of treats. There is fried everything along with pizza, hotdogs, and various drinks. Towards the front is where the beer garden is. Once you get towards the back, there are all the animals, games, and various booths. This was a great local fair. Plenty to do, see, and spend time with family and friends!
