My husband and I have both worked in the auto industry do we already the tire sizes were able to be swapped, and for that matter both our vehicles are front wheel drive! My husband asked to see the vehicles while they were in the air (to double check), and sure enough FWD. He asked the girl who checked us in if she could just let tech know to double check before they give customers wrong info. She pulled the tech aside and told us tell him yourself, so my husband did. Tech had nothing to say except "ok" and gave him a dirty look. There was no "hey we were wrong we apologize"... just nothing. When cars were done my husband tried to tell the tech have a good day and he walked away and didnt even acknowledge him. We came here because ive been a customer in the past and never had an issue. 1. Not having the knowledge to know the difference between AWD and FWD - not good if youre in the vehicle repair business. 2. Not offering any kind of apology when it was YOUR mistake, just bad manners. 3. Walking away and not acknowledging a customer who was polite but pointed out your mistake and told you that you were wrong - unprofessional. We wont be back.

They would not honor the warranty. Today, we saw 4 bubbles on the side wall of another tire. Again they wouldn't honor the warranty. I would never recommend buying anything from B&R. I would recommend True Tread. They were honest and helped us with all new tires. I will always buy tires from True Tread Tires in Canfield.

Send someone to get the tires while I was at work. Found out after the fact he charged them double what he quoted over the phone. When they asked about it, he said "Those must have been older tires" (he told me he only had the tires we bought in that size. what older tires?) when I asked myself, he said "I never said that" To be fair the tires are at least as good as any I've seen and his final price was only slightly higher than average. Also, he did say that, due to the "misunderstanding," if I took the tires of the car and brought them back he'd give a refund. The problem is here's already lied to me at least twice. Do I invest in new tires elsewhere and trust he will really give the refund? I find it more likely he'll say "I never agreed to that." Luckily they are decent tires because I'm stuck with them for double what was quoted.

When they quoted me a moderate sized repair that I needed a few months to get the cash ready, when I came back a few months later and prices were up they made a couple minor adjustments to the total to close the gap with the original quote. They replaced some belts at a separate visit and when I had some noises start a few months later they tweaked it under warranty same day with no hesitations. They've got my business for anything tire and any moderate level car work from here on out.

They were able to get the tire examined and patched in a little under an hour, and we were back on the road quickly (and it was only $30). I was ready to pay for a new tire if needed, and their honesty and integrity by just patching it rather than replacing it is greatly appreciated. The wonderful service here honestly turned around everything about that day, and we made it back to NYC safely about 7 hours later. Second visit was to inspect and repair air conditioner that was only blowing warm air. Tire repairs don't require an appointment; my air conditioner repair did. I was advised the second visit would take all day but was fortunate enough that a 2nd technician was available, so I was out in less than four hours. Not bad for a major repair. The people you meet initially are very friendly and professional; they have a full body of knowledge concerning automobiles. There is plenty of room to sit while waiting with free coffee and cold water, couches, chairs and tables. The overall service is superb.
