I took it thinking nothing of it. I take the bottle to my car and the bag is fine. I went to take them to my house and the bag breaks and two of the three bottles fell on the floor resulting in it shattering and my food being cut up and bleeding. So I called them and was informed that because of NY law they could only get those bags and they have signs saying that the bag are not that strong. Which is perfectly fine as I know a few stores that do that but I replied that they can also inform their customers of this because I didn't see the sign. The guy who picked up the phone keep on making the excuses of the sign and honestly that just got me very upset. Ok you have a sign. I am telling you that I did not see the sign. It take 5 seconds to say, "Hey we are putting them in these bags but warning they are not that strong" and avoid this whole situation - which I know because I've done it in my own previous jobs! I wasn't even calling for refunds or anything. I was calling to get them to inform their customers of this problem because what if it injured me worst than a few scratches all over my foot? It is little things like that which show how much you care or don't care for your customers. Now I don't plan to come back here unless I have to, or if I can find the soju products elsewhere, never again.

The vendors were well versed in their product presentation. There was also plenty of staff around to assist with a purchase if needed. On an aside they also provided some finger foods . For a first event they did a great job. There were some familiar faces both vendors as well as customers. It great to be able to sample products before spending $50, 60 or even $100 on a bottle only to be dissatisfied. It was fun and educational and looking forward to their 2nd annual event.

I don't have a problem with the staff per se...but rather the young woman with the glasses behind the counter. I had purchased an assortment of bottled wines and brandies and they were not boxed. So...I asked the young lady to please wrap them in silver paper and tie them with green or red ribbon for the holidays...as they were to be given to various people as gifts. She rang up my purchase, I paid her and she slapped down the wrapping bags and ribbon on the counter. She stated that she doesn't or wouldn't be able to wrap my bottles. Now I looked behind me and there were no other people on line...so I did not understand the problem or why she wouldn't do this for me. Most if not ALL liquor stores wrap your bottles for the Holidays. I told her I'm not sure how to do this very well and that I don't have a scissors on me and that I needed to make various stops when I leave here. She told me she doesn't wrap and that was that. So rather than fight and make a scene in the store...I put my bottles in a box because they don't give bags with your purchase, I told her she was very rude and left the store.
