The shop is small, so the line went out the door, and I waited about 20 minutes to place my order. There's a small table and some high chairs for seating, but I chose to take my order to go. They also had ridiculously thick cookies (I zapped mine in the microwave for 10 seconds at home to soften them up), their well-known banana pudding, and a few other treats that I didn't bother asking for fear they "were all out". The service was honestly great- super patient while my kid tried several pinky nail-sized samples of the few flavors they had available that Sunday. Price-wise? Not cheap, but not wild either. What stood out was the creativity of the flavors. Today I stopped off here and got their messy girl ice cream and their taro ice cream. Messy girl: REALLY good, vanilla ice cream, strawberry preserves/sauce, some cake inside. Very good. Taro: eh, wasn't nearly as good as the messy girl, it wasn't bad, but it was nowhere near as good as messy girl. The owner attended my friend and myself and was very friendly and shared local triva and history. He let me sample several flavors and all equally good. The bizcocho ice cream is okay. I tried a few g flavors while I was there, mostly seasonal. They don't always have everything on the menu, something to keep in mind. I had the taro and the rose with pralines. If you like something crunchy and sweet with a prominent rose flavor, you will love this. Rose flavored stuff is usually hit or miss with me, but I really enjoyed this. I liked the taro flavor. It is much milder than the rose, but just as creamy. This ice cream is closer to a gelato than your traditional carvel. My only issue was the two flavors began belting into each other pretty quickly. If you're getting two scoops and want separation of flavor profiles I recommend getting them in two cups. The was good, nothing extraordinary. He was pleasant and patient. This is not a dine I've cream shop. You come, you order, you take your pics for your ig or TikTok and you leave. A real gem in the downtown Yonkers area. Newly opened ice cream shop offers hand crafted ice cream, sorbets and vegan options made onsite. The Owner is a really nice man who will happily tell you the story behind the shops name as well as the beautiful mural painted on the entry wall by a local artist. He's happy to give you a taste of any flavor. On our visit some of the flavors were vegan vanilla, vegan matcha-vanilla, blueberry crumb, strawberry shortcake, rose with praline pecans, grape nut, chocolate grape nut. Get a scoop, sugar cone or home made waffle cone. After sampling both the Coffee with Almond Biscotti and Peanut Butter & Jelly we got two small cups. He scooped two large scoops into the cup which was more than plenty to eat. So creamy and delicious. And reasonably priced. They seem so unprepared for their customers...almost ran out of the viral Dominican cake ice cream (worker stated she could "probably get one cup maybe two" from the bottom of the barrel, cookies were not ready still baking in the tiny oven, hot chocolate takes forever to make. The lady working alone seemed lost. It's way overpriced for mediocre service and goods. The ice cream was nothing special. It's tiny no place to sit or stand indoors. If you visit in the winter be prepared to eat/drink in the cold. Definitely would not recommend or return. This place is just another hyped up social media gimmick.
