Overall experience 3.5 stars Ambiance: 3.5 Stars Located in North Hills / Popular Springs, the restaurant is an open concept and has multiple tables for seating. It is clean and was decorated with different Middle Eastern pictures and homey items. Service: 3.75 Stars The family own and operated staff are friendly and professional. They made some recommendations and we ordered our food. It took about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Food: 3.5 Stars The Turkish coffee was wonderful. Robust and had the hint of cardamom, cinnamon and other spices. Though a hot drink, it was refreshing to taste. 3.5 Stars We had the Lamb and Chicken Gyros. Both were large and tasty. However, some parts of the meat were slightly dry. The fresh, hot fries were a delight. Appetizer: 3 Stars The fried Sambosa was ok. It tasted more "store" bought than homemade. The chicken was good but I was expecting chicken peas or other veggies in it too. The seasoning was ok. Dessert: 2.75 Baklava- the order came with one pastry cut into two small pieces. Not a shareable item. You could put both pieces in your mouth. Too small and it tasted "store bought" again. I could be wrong and it not a major criticism. Just more of an observation and a reference what I won't order the next time we stop by. Overall: we will be back to taste other food options and the friendly staff. read more

This was such a wonderful place to eat. The food was so tender and so very well prepared. We were just passing through the area and stumbled upon this restaurant and so glad that we did. The chicken shawarma with fries was perfectly done. Very well seasoned, the chicken was extremely tender. The lamb with rice was delicious as well, some of the best lamb, very flavorful and tender. The chicken kabob with rice was very well marinated and extremely tender. The service was great, the woman was very helpful and extremely nice. Service was very fast and they brought out the food as it was ready so it was extremely hot. The restaurant was very clean and had a very nice atmosphere. Overall if we are ever back in the area we would definitely be back! It was absolutely delicious!! read more

Traveling across the country and found this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere Mississippi. The restaurant was clean and the staff were EXTREMELY friendly. I was very full off the chicken and rice alone I did not think it was going to be that large a portion. The hummus plate is definitely for 2. We had an early dinner at Elpasha last night. The food is great. My wife and I shared a salad and a chicken kabob. Both were outstanding. The chicken was perfect; It was tender and moist but still thoroughly cooked. The server was a delight. I have travelled some in the Middle East and I enjoyed the vibe of the music and the decor. The food at El Pasha was great! We got the combo for 4. It came with rice, 3 types of kebabs w/vegetables, hummus, and salad. We decided to eat family style, and it was delicious. We also got the Dubai chocolate, which was very good. The waitresses for sure need more training and to practice a little better customer service, but I'm sure they'll get the hang of it. Our favorite was the friendliness of the owner! He was very kind and attentive even amongst the crazy-busy crowd. He was super kind to my 2 kiddos as he has two children who are 3 and 6 at home. 10/10 recommend!! read more

If I could use only one word to describe my overall experience here it would be Satisfying. This is Mediterranean food prepared by people that know it best. The wife and I ordered the combination plate for two people so we could experience a bit of a variety. I can say that every Kabab was excellent. The salad they gave us was fresh and dressed for success. My 10 month old daughter would tell you the fresh hummus is to die for since she was eating it by the spoonful. I've been wishing for a decent Mediterranean place within reasonable driving distance of the house and look what we have now. My family and I will be coming back again and again. read more

We got takeout. While I'm thrilled to have a new Mediterranean restaurant in town, I wish they would fully embrace the spices of the Mediterranean. There was little if any garlic in the hummus. I make better hummus. They gave us what tasted like ranch dressing instead of tzatziki sauce. While the chicken and lamb were moist and cooked just right, they lacked in spice and flavor. The salad was fresh and delicious. I wonder if all the restaurants that we see open and close don't use more flavor because they think MS doesn't like it. I think MS can handle more flavor and spice. The food is good and definitely a welcome choice from the typical fast food and fast-casual chain restaurants in Meridian. This restaurant is a great option to enjoy something 'different' that is convenient. I would give 5 stars, but we were a bit disappointed at our most recent visit as the young lady who served us was aggressively smacking and chewing gum as she served us and other customers, which is unprofessional and off-putting. Besides that, we enjoyed the food and are looking forward to returning soon! read more
