However, the past 2 years, come renewal, I wouldn't hear from them at all. Policy documents would show up randomly in my mailbox without notification from StreetSmart. This year, after I got policy renewal documents for both auto and home, one of their managers reached out to "chat with me" about my renewal "ahead of time", showing they had no idea that my policies renewed. I shared feedback with them last year that I felt it was unacceptable to be making commission on my policies every year without offering any service, like shopping rates with me every year or even reaching out to ensure my policy met my future needs since life can change quickly. They did not take this feedback, clearly. I tried to setup time to talk to my account manager to discuss renewal three times. Every meeting, no one would call and when I reached out over email, was told it was rescheduled/cancelled, despite using the scheduling link she told me to use... Still feeling this is unacceptable, so I chose to stop partnering with them and shop around to a new agent who has better customer service.

I've been with Liberty Mutual for YEARS for both of my cars and my house and renters over the years…read moreand they have gone DOWNHILL fast. No support for their loyal clients and close to impossible to get an actual human on the phone these days. Did not help me when I had a windshield replacement done under their policy that was totally mishandled. They left gaps in the windshield so it rains into the car, it rattles, they damages other parts of the car while installing and they told me I have to pay out of pocket to have it fixed or go back to the guy who did the bad job and have him "fix" it even though he's had my car for 6 months for a repair that should have been one week and he is not capable of doing this job correctly! Prior to that, merged into a lane at the same time as someone else and did not advocate for me and said "they had no skin in the game to fight for me" so I had to pay out of pocket for those repairs too. Now I have to pay over $500 for a new windshield because they won't have my back. I'm DONE. I cancelled all policies and moved to a different company. What is the point of having insurance that won't cover a job that is so badly done that it will RAIN INSIDE YOUR CAR???

Liberty mutual is actively trying to reduce their New York State policies by looking for any…read moreinfraction to cancel your policy. While on the phone with the rewrite department they told me that Liberty mutual is no longer interested in New York business and will do whatever they can to reduce the amount of customers in New York. I bounce one check with Liberty mutual and they canceled my policy they will not reinstate it they say it is a New York policy and hinted that they're reducing their customer base in New York state. One payment bounced in my account due to a payment date mixup. I needed my payment to come in the first week of the month. Social security. Liberty would not change my due date. So when finally a payment bounced they cancelled my policy. If they did it to me they'll do it to you....seem there is some underlying reason to cancel a policy with no claims no violations. Think about it.
