I have PCOS and it affects my weight(185#) and weird hair growth. I have anxiety which has caused other problems. I NEVER thought I could do something like this. Just talking to the lady to schedule the appointment was terrifying but she made me feel comfortable. Trying to walk into the building the day of the appointment was a whole other challenge. I talked myself into it and made it in through the door. I was greeted by the most kind women that assured me it would be a great expierience. One thing that helped was to know that they all had to expierience this when getting hired. They all know the feelings I was feeling that day. My make up was beautiful. I'd wear make up all the time if I could make it look like that! Then came time to take "it" all off somehow I did that, too! Once they started taking pictures it was so easy! She told me where to go, how to pose, where to put my had/arm etc etc. I couldn't believe how comfortable I was wearing nearly nothing! I ended up purchasing all of the photos at the end on a drive. Was it expensive...well yeah. They work hard! Was it worth it...100%. My husband's reaction was priceless. 1st thing he said was that he's always seen these on facebook but never thought I would do that. For his 30th birthday I had surprised him with a trip to his first michigan game and bought him an authentic jersey. I wore that jersey for part of the photo shoot. I also took a few other photos in a bralette and panties. My advise...if you ever thought this would be neat but not sure if you could then just do it!!

Nina and Romelia were extremely helpful during my trials, helping me experiment and perfect all my looks for four separate events. This continued during the wedding week itself where both worked diligently to make me look and feel beautiful. They also did a fantastic job with the groom, and even if that is not the first thing people consider when selecting hair and make-up, I would not overlook it. They also followed us to each venue to help with touch-ups throughout the week, helping fix hair and makeup for not just us but our family as well. They are fun and warm people, taking away all the stress of getting ready and letting me relax. The rest of the team was incredible as well, with a special shout out to Shrini, who helped with draping and pinning my bridal veil. We had multiple family members comment on how thankful they were that we hired CBA to help take away all the stress of getting ready for them. Here's why: 1) It's an Aveda salon, so the dyes are made with natural ingredients (they're not stinky) which make them less harsh on your hair. I've never had any obvious breakage or outright damage from anything Aveda. 2) Each salon chair has its own little individual sectioned-off space. A head full of foils is NOT a good look for most, and I enjoy my privacy. These "booths" also promote peace and quiet, so I don't feel obligated to make conversation with the patron next to me. While my color is processing, I'm free to read their wide variety of magazines, be productive (or not) on my iPhone, or even just close my eyes for a few minutes... zzzzz.... 3) Like many mid-priced salons, they offer guests water or coffee upon arrival. Not a crucial selling point, but always a nice and welcomed gesture. 4) Their prices are reasonable and comparable to other businesses in the area. I also adore my stylist. She is one of very few who actually do to my hair what I request. If she ever disagrees, she'll politely say so and explain why, so we can figure out a new plan (instead of "surprising" me with a look I don't like). I've never left there unhappy with my hair. I used to go to a competing salon because they had an integrated spa (quick pedi or chair massage while color develops). I wish Hair International had a spa, but I'm there for my hair and THEY KNOW HAIR! It's worth it to me to go to a spa separately because the end result at Hair International is always positive. Needless to say, I highly recommend this salon.
